Overall, it was a mostly pleasant experience. Every staff member we encountered was great. They answered any questions, brought us extra blankets, and were very helpful with check-in and check out. The location is very close walking distance to the Navy Pier, and there are several bus stops within a short walking distance. Our view of the Navy Pier from our room was fantastic. Now, the not so great: the room we were in was in SERIOUS need of some work in the bathroom. There were several loose tiles, and some were broken and looked like they had been grouted together. Also, our room was close to the elevators, which shouldn't have been that big of a deal, but every few seconds, it sounded like there was an airplane whooshing through our room. We got used to it pretty quickly and were able to ignore it, but I can see where it would keep people awake and be very annoying. We would stay again, but ask to be as far away from the elevators as possible. Speaking of noise, they do live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and when you walk in the doors, the music slams you in the face. We didn't hear it in our room, thankfully, but we were on the 15th floor. So overall, great stay, but bring your ear plugs.
