The Waldorf is a stunning hotel in Central London, operated by Hilton. I called in here to grab some Breakfast on my final day in London, having had numerous disappointing Hotel breakfasts at different hotels operated by Hilton, during my stay in the capital, I decided to call here and hopefully change that, and delightfully I did, for £25 per person, breakfast or even stays at this hotel doesn't come cheap, but the overall feel is one of luxury.
As you enter, you can see doorways and steps, but the doormen were on hand at the door friendly and escorted me up in the lift, the lift was a little slow and I did have some trouble with it, it was inconvenient using it.
Inside, the hotel seemed quite large, it had numerous floors and rooms, there were some issues with the lifts going up to the rooms, for example, one lift seemed extremely slow, compared to the others which were frustrating and the rooms were small in general.
As well as the service, and the overall look and feel of the hotel, another thing which impressed me was the Breakfast, which was of course my main point for my visit.
The overall selection was impressive, which included an Omelette bar where you could go up to the chef, and order your omelette, watch him cook it and dictate how he did it, for example adding certain toppings and more or less of something.
This is a high-end hotel, probably one of the more higher-end hotels in the Hilton brand, mainly down to it being a "Waldorf" branded hotel in central London, and it is somewhere I would choose to stay again while in London, it does deserve a solid 4-star rating mainly down to the overall feel, breakfast and service but certain issues such as the accessibility of the hotel, making it much longer, time-consuming and frustrating to get around the hotel even the Breakfast buffet, and slight issues with the wait at Reception during crowded times (such as with an ongoing wedding receptions), and certain lifts which go up to the rooms being slightly slow, I don't feel this place is hotel perfection to earn a higher rating.
