I had an exceptional stay at this 5-star hotel! From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The dining experience was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options. The hotel’s location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious, memorable stay. Would definitely return!

Great hotel and location! Staff is absolutely excellent. I had lost my bag before I got in. They were tremendously helpful and empathetic. Especially Dean who was extremely kind and generous. Nice people do exist. My hotel stay was worth because of the whole staff. Property is great, rooms are beautiful and spacious. Definitely stay, location is wonderful.

Stayed here for one night in a Queen Room, and overall, it was a lovely experience - just not quite as posh as I expected from The Waldorf Hilton name. The room itself was really nice and spacious, with a huge, super comfy bed. But.. our luxurious view? Straight into a courtyard with rubbish bins. Not exactly the picturesque London scene I had in mind. That aside, everything else was great. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of delicious options that definitely made up for the view. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of London, making it super easy to get around and explore. All in all, it's a beautiful hotel with excellent service and a great vibe. Just maybe request a room with a better view if you're staying longer!

Google
I highly recommend this hotel. The location is great for appreciating what Central London has to offer. The interior is stunning. The team are exceptional. Alex was very warm and welcoming on arrival, he is surely a rising star at the hotel and always a joy to interact with. A guest relations natural. There was a minor issue of not finding my reservation, although it was sorted and they apologised, was a technical issue I think and this did not impact my stay, so props to them for handling it so well.||On my last visit I unfortunately had an accident not far from the hotel and they offered me first aid. One of the managers - Brandon, I think his name is, took time to call me after I departed to check if i was ok, was a lovely surprise, was very touched by that. I was very much in pain and probably not in the best mood and all the staff took time to cheer me up and tend to my needs. Concierge Matthew and Bola - helped me hugely- I cannot be more grateful for their endeavours. ||The team at the bar served wonderful cocktails and we were massively impressed by the menu and the service. If you go there, you’ll see what i mean.||I must also give praise to Edonite and Jennifer in the lounge. They both have a remarkable way with guests. In addition the selection of food was top tier, compliments to the chef.|Oh - we were certainly wowed by their Christmas decorations too. Sadly didn't take pictures.||Happy New Year to the team and I will certainly be back in the future.

Dear The Waldorf Hilton,London I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an unfortunate experience I had after being contacted by someone representing your establishment through Telegram. Recently, I was approached by a woman claiming to be associated with your restaurant. She requested that I write a positive review for your business. Despite finding the request unusual, I agreed and took the time to write a thoughtful and supportive review, aiming to help promote your restaurant. However, after fulfilling the request, the individual completely ghosted me. There was no acknowledgment, follow-up, or even a simple thank you for my time and effort. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on your establishment’s reputation. It feels exploitative to be asked for a favor and then dismissed without any form of appreciation or communication. I trusted that engaging with someone representing your restaurant would reflect the values and customer care your business upholds. Instead, I was left feeling undervalued and disregarded. I hope this feedback encourages your team to manage such interactions more respectfully and professionally in the future. Clear communication and basic courtesy go a long way in maintaining a positive reputation and customer trust. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to your response and hope to see improvements moving forward. Sincerely, Qasim

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at this hotel, despite having been a loyal guest in the past. While I generally enjoyed my stays here, this visit has left a bitter taste in my mouth due to the untrustworthy behavior of the housekeeping and the hotel's inability to resolve an issue I faced. I accidentally left my jewelry in the safe upon checkout. To show my appreciation for the staff’s usual hospitality, I even left seven small bottles of wine as a thank-you gesture. Unfortunately, my trust was misplaced. The cleaning staff removed the jewelry box during the room turnover for new guests, and it has since vanished without a trace. When I brought this issue to the hotel's attention, they offered no satisfactory resolution or even a sincere attempt to investigate further. Their lack of accountability has been shocking, especially for a hotel I once held in high regard. This experience has ruined what was once a reliable option for my travels. Be careful with your valuables if you choose to stay here, as it seems the staff cannot be trusted. I will not be returning.

Google
Wonderful stay, we went last year for a weekend because their great location and decided to celebrate our anniversary in Waldorf , definitely made the right choice. From Reservations with Karen Lastra and Georgina who were wonderful and helped us with our enquiries , nothing was a trouble for them and the response was very quick . We received lovely details from Front Desk and Housekeeping team on arrival and that was a complete surprise for both of us. I am gluten and dairy free and Maria Dritsa in the Restaurant was very helpful and informative, always with the smile. Last year the gym was in renovation , and we were disappointed we couldn't use it but it is open now, modern and clean, all that you can need to keep active during a city break. Thank you all for looking after us , we cant wait to come back

Yelp
We stayed here for a few nights during the first part of our honeymoon. Our room was upgraded, service from the concierge and front desk were wonderful. We got special treats and champagne. The hotel was very walkable to all sorts of different shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in London.

Yelp
Can hardly even be effusive enough about our recent stay! What a delight from start to finish. Every team member is so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the concierge and porters to the breakfast and tea room. Lovely rooms, comfy beds, beautiful trappings, and some wonderful history. Delicious and bountiful daily breakfast, and the unique Beauty and the Beast tea was a whimsical, magical treat! Excellent service, atmosphere, and offerings in the executive lounge. Location can't be beat. Will ABSOLUTELY return!

Yelp
I spent eleven glorious nights here recently. The hotel underwent a renovation around 2014. Arguably, it's time again but it's still quite comfortable and much nicer than last time. I began in an adorable apartment style queen room on the fourth floor. I liked that it had a foyer. I was moved as an upgrade to the second floor E rooms with a king. It did not have the foyer but the size for central London? Wowza! It's light on bathroom and room amenities here, but still wonderful. It's a fave of Hilton Diamond guests. The lounge is comfortable but crowded. So, consider that you don't want to expect to rely on the club everyday. The location cannot be beat. It was an easy walk to Convent Garden and Trafalgar Square. It's in the heart of the theatre district, so it's absolutely perfect for seeing shows. It's an easy walk to Bloomsbury too. But, the bus stop is right outside the door. It was so easy going as far as Highgate and Shoreditch, in the pouring rain! The Monkey Bar is soothing. It stops serving food at 11, closes at midnight. It's swanky without the fuss. The servers are so nice and they hustle! The door men were simply our favorite. While we need no help in London (lived there), they still offered ideas and always checked to make sure we had plans, an umbrella and a strategy for dinner. Worth every dollar spent. Perfect for the seasoned UK traveller or couple. Not for families, mainly business travelers and couples. Little for kids or teens here. See website for all the details.

Steve R.

Yelp
So the location is amazing if you want to be near shows and Covent garden. It's not as swanky as things you will find in Mayfair but I prefer Covent gardens bc of the array of shopping and food choices. Theater is close by and this location is really hard to beat. The staff is absolutely top notch and 5 star and very helpful. Always friendly and super helpful. The rooms..well they are an old hotel and it's hard to do much with it. Rooms are clean and serviceable. My bed was actually very comfortable and housekeeping was prompt. I would recommend getting a room with lounge access as they have snacks and happy hour everyday and that's well very cozy Overall a great stay and we had some things go wrong in the room but they were prompt in fixing. We did like booking with Hilton bc they do allow you to book connecting rooms which if you are traveling with kids it's imperative

Yelp
From being greeted by the doorman, to check-in, and just being in the hotel, our experience was top notch! The doorman was so friendly, offering places to eat, hailing cabs quickly and offering friendly banter. The check in process was quick and the ladies were very friendly. The Concierge manager greeted us by name every time he saw us, and assisted us with excellent transport to the airport. The rooms are classy and clean. The food breakfast and dinner were very tasty. We enjoyed a drink at the bar and bartenders were wonderful. To top it off, the High Tea was an excellent experience. Just can't say enough about this lovely hotel. All the staff should be highly appreciated by the Hilton brand. They are truly what made the experience!!

Yelp
DO NOT EVER USE WALDORF HILTON HOTELS esp. London! After paying over $2K for a 2 night stay & having to cancel shortly after booking, they refused to refund me even w a years notice. They wouldn't even let me transfer, gift it, or give me an indefinite credit! They had no problem taking my money but when it came to customer service/resolution, they could care less. No one should ever give a multi billion dollar company another dime w service like that! BEYOND DISAPPOINTED in having to take such a loss. They now have lost a long time customer at all their locations. PS. I've been battling this with the hotel directly for 18 months now w/ the head mgr. named Argyro (numerous calls/emails) so unfortunately it's long been paid for.

Courtney O.

Yelp
I should preface this by saying that I'm a Marriott loyalist. I had originally booked the W London, but I couldn't get over how expensive it was going to be and after searching for more affordable options at a similar star rating, the Waldorf came up. Staying at the Waldorf for 4 nights was over $1000 cheaper than any of the nearby Marriotts so I had to suck it up and put loyalty aside. Our stay was so excellent that could I dare be converted? Location: I loved that the hotel was located within walking distance of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus (and all the rest of the major tourist hotspots), BUT it wasn't right smack dab in the center of it. Because of that, it wasn't loud and you weren't fighting to get through people to enter into the hotel. Just being a few streets away gave it a calm and less busy feeling even though it was so close to the action. Service: The service was excellent. From the wonderfully friendly and pleasant doormen who greeted us daily to the awesome housekeeping staff, everyone was great. The housekeeping team was especially phenomenal. Our room was cleaned so thoroughly and organized beautifully. I felt like they did an exceptional job with more attention to detail than I've experienced in other places. Room: I was worried the room would be tiny, but it was actually more spacious than expected, especially since we had chosen the lowest cost and size option. We were able to spread out all of our things across the room. I appreciated that the room had a variety of plugs (UK, EU and US plugs). This was helpful! What an absolute great stay! I would 100% stay here again. Pro tip: use the Holborn tube station going to and from the airport. The covent garden one may be closer but it's an absolute mess and it's much easier to navigate the Holborn one.

Steven W.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights and located in a good location and near two Tube Stations which is extremely convenient. Room was relatively large for being in the UK. Our room was unfortunately right in front of the elevator so we could hear it opening and closing. But the room and bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was large but I have two things to say. They place the flush button above the toilet but the toilet seat cover covers it so when you flush you have to push the seat cover slightly to flush which is not efficient. The bathtub is this half glass that swings so things can get wet when showering.

Nick L.

Yelp
A wonderful stay in the west end, close to all the theaters and many attractions. We walked to most things but you can also take the train from Covent Garden to everything as well. The hotel is clean, fresh and staffed with awesome people. Alisha has a great front end staff that made our stay perfect. The room was exactly what we needed and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. It was included with our room and our kids talked about how much they enjoyed the food. The gym was also much bigger and newer than I was expecting- a nice surprise. One thing to note is the pool is closed. Not sure if it's temporary or what it looked like, or something to note.

Bill T.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night in London because I couldn't get an extra night at the other hotel we'd booked when we decided to expand our stay by one night. In any event, we came here straight from the airport and even though it was only 1:00 pm, we were able to check into our room, which was a blessing. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The towel warmers in the bathroom were lovely. I liked the stand alone shower we had in the bathroom but it was pretty small and it had a rainfall shower head, which meant it was hard to open my eyes in the shower because there was no way to get out of the stream of the water and it was pouring directly on top of my head. But that's a personal quirk of mine that I prefer a showerhead that lets you keep your head out of the water when you choose. The elevators were efficient, which is a win in an older hotel like this. The front desk and bell staff were all super nice. The only things that weren't great were the executive lounge and the room on the second day. The lounge was really small so when we went for the happy hour, there was no room to sit so we just grabbed coffees and left. We got there early for breakfast and were able to find a table but by the time we left, it was nearly standing room only. On the morning we checked out, the room had a weird smell, like sewer gas. It was really strong in one part of the room. Not sure what that was about but we were checking out so it didn't really matter too much. Overall, I liked this hotel. The location was great, very close to Covent Garden and easy to get buses, trains or tube service to zip your way around London.

Jim C.

Yelp
Excellent hotel from many angles. Would come back again & again. Location is in the heart of the Theater District in the West End. Momma Mia, Frozen and Tina were playing within 1/2 block. The Aldwych & Novello theaters are about 75 ft from hotel front door. Walk to British Museum, Trafalger Square in 10 to 15 minutes. Covent Gardens is a bit touristy but a 5 minute walk. Service of Concierge and Doorman was excellent. Get to know the Doorman as he knows more than concierge about directions, taxis & Busses. Get the breakfast included rate at Homage restaurant. Huge self-serve selection or order from the menu as all is included. Champagne included on weekends. Peek in the adjacent Salon Room - it was used as a filming set in The Titanic. You will recognize it from the movie. Good Godfrey's Bar was my favorite place in hotel. If you have a favorite table, as we did, you can reserve it earlier. Then people watch out the window to the bustle on the street while you relax with your drink. You have full access to huge Fitness First gym. Weights, steam bath and pool. Balthazar & The Delaunay are two fine dining restaurants a block away with New York steakhouse vibes. Also, Cote Brasserie is good for more modest meal.

Mark Y.

Yelp
Stayed here recently on a final leg of an English tour. The hotel itself is what you would expect: old and classic. Amenities are sparse, part of which is simply the age of the hotel and furnishings. The service, however, was dreadful for a Waldorf Astoria. From the moment we arrived, the service was clumsy and, dare I say, rehearsed. People saying the right things, but doing nothing to help. For instance, "parking is not a problem," finishing with, "there is self parking everywhere around the city and you can easily pay at the meter." Huh? How is that helpful? No valet. No parking. No help. And, because I use a Us-based cell phone, the self-pay meters wouldn't work. Attempted to get help, but was assured by the concierge that I was "in good hands." No help. Just "good hands." The restaurant was equally as disappointing. Beautiful, but the service felt like an inconvenience to the staff. Won't be rebooking any time again.

Dennis E.

Yelp
This hotel is in a historic building. It is really well kept, and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was worth the money and everything about this stay was nice. It is centrally located and public transportation is right outside the front door.

Adria D.

Yelp
After hopping on the Big Red bus we decided to hop off to have some lunch. My friend was excited to see we were near the Waldorf and so we decided to eat in the bar area. The service was horrendous our waiter was very unpleasant and seemed to hate his job. I ordered a bloody mary which took forever to get and if I had known it would be so horrible I would have never ordered it, it was like a glass of tomato juice. The place wasn't that busy but it did seem like he was the only waiter around I ordered the fish and chips and my friend ordered the Waldorf salad of course. When the fish and chips finally came out I will have to say it was the best fish and chips of my life so that made up for the horrible service. The fries were crispy and perfect like some of the best fries I've ever had and I love the way they prepared the fish because it wasn't just a deep fried blob it was more of a crispy perfectly seasoned perfectly cooked filet. We had drank all of our Waters during the wait and I was trying to get the waiters attention for some more water but he would not look our way at all like I was staring hard and he would never look. Finally he looked up and I did a little wave and he rolled his eyes and I made a gesture like he was appalled that I waved at him. He then proceeded to ignore us forever like at least another half an hour I almost went to the bathroom and filled my glass of water I was so thirsty but the way he looked at me I was afraid to stand up and go get some more water. In summary I'm still angry at that jerk but I'm still in love with the fish and chips and if he had been any kind of a decent waiter, he would have asked me about why I didn't drink my drink and take it off the bill, but he didn't. So hopefully you don't get the bald jerk that we had.

Mshelskt N.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this hotel because of the location but we ended up changing hotels. We arrived after 13hr travel time from US. The room we had booked wasn't available because we booked through a third party vendor and it didn't match their price for the same room so they made us pay a ton of extra money for a suite. The suite was really worn and old. The mattresses were really firm, stained, and old. Also, If you get a room on the 8th floor it feels like you're sleeping in an attic. This place is a tourist trap and very busy! Stay away not worth your money and comfort. I would rate this a one star hotel!

Tammie C.

Yelp
Firstly, the good... I was given a room upon early arrival (King Executive) and staying 3 nights. The breakfast in the Executive lounge is lovely. The bad... 1. No in-house pressing/laundry service (unexpected for a purportedly 5-star property) 2. Room is musty smelling 3. Dirty stained towels 4. After stating clearly I did not want delivery of a package to my room until my son's arrival because I was planning to sleep after an overnight flight from New York, WITH THE DO NOT DISTURB LIGHT AND TAG ON THE DOOR, much to my surprise when I was awakened when an employee entered my bedroom with his key to deliver the package. 5. After complaining to management about the unauthorized entry, a gentleman knocked on the door twice (privacy light still was on with tag on the door) to deliver laundry. It was someone else's laundry - not mine. 5. Housekeeping did not replenish coffee/biscuits or water. We had to phone to get this. 6. There was a drip from the ceiling. Engineering came - saw the drip on the rug and the spot on the ceiling beam - and recommended a room change that never was realized. 7. Came back from Executive lounge where room key worked to enter but upon return our keys were deactivated. For 1,000 GBP per night I expect WAY BETTER!!!! Do not stay at the Waldorf London - it's no longer a gem in London.

Gus T.

Yelp
Very well located. Nice breakfast selection and buffet. A little slow on the service. Checking in may be a wait since they only had 2 people working the reception...

Mike P.

Yelp
I asked housekeeping while a member of our party was in the shower for body wash as it was empty. They said give them 5 minutes. No one ever rang the door, ended up using hand wash for time being. After they had made the room up the next morning we were showering to leave and still no body wash. Grade F. Asked the front desk if they could call and cancel a dinner reservation for that evening. I showed her the number and she asked to see my phone then started tapping away on it and ended up calling the restaurant on my phone which it cost me an international call. Then told me to go talk to the concierge, while my friend was watching after I turned around he said she stuck her tongue out at me. Concierge said he would cancel and said I could call from the room. After I was notified of her sticking her tongue out when we got to the room, we went down to the counter, I confronted her about her inappropriate behavior, she called us liars all the while her lower lip was quivering knowing she was caught lying and being unprofessional. Upon reporting the incident to manager, they could not see her on the security cameras; the manager said he would give me a credit on the room to make up for the international number dialed on my phone. Nothing was ever credited, and I refused to ask for a credit at his point. I called when the restaurant opened at noon and when we were leaving my partner told the concierge that I called and cancelled the reservation. When I came down, the concierge said he tried calling, saying that I had cancelled the reservation. Only outstanding service received was from the door men. We stayed at the Hilton Tower London Bridge when we arrived in London, I would book there again prior to this location. The customer service at Hilton Tower of London and the Hilton Opera Paris were both hands down 1,000 times better than this Hilton over 12 days in Hilton hotel stays. I will never be staying there again. We come to London as our pivoting point to other European cities and always stay 3-4 days upon arrival and 2 days prior to leaving, twice a year, NEVER AGAIN!!

Julienne D.

Yelp
Conveniently located. Pleasant Doormen, unhelpful front desk staff. Bed is comfortable! Did I mention that front desk staff was not helpful? Not worth the $$$$ in terms of value and especially service. Did you know if you are a Hilton member but booked/paid for the room through a 3rd party ( got it through United Airlines App), you can not get membership points or use your Hilton App? Neither did I. Hilton customer service said that the front desk can make the add happen at the front desk but I was unsuccessful because of Policy. I have stayed at Hilton properties and usually have a Nespresso machine... Not here in London... Hot water pot and instant coffee

Val G.

Yelp
We had a great time staying at Waldorf! Excellent service. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Location is fantastic. Me and my wife enjoyed shopping, dining and relaxing strolls around the city. Highly recommended!

Scott S.

Yelp
Do r let them put you on the 8th floor if you have luggage. Elevator only goes to 7th floor and there is no one to be found to help with luggage upon check out. Called Receptionist; concierge and guest services. Each wrong over 20 times with no answer at 10:40 am on a Friday. Beautiful property poorly staffed.

Don T.

Yelp
If you have the desire to stay in one of the very best parts of London, and don't mind paying for this level of service, you cannot beat the Waldorf Hilton. Beautiful room, top-tier service, and literally 5 minutes from Covent Garden, a premier shopping/dining area.

Bo W.

Yelp
Rude, unprofessional, racist I've stayed at Waldorf all around the world and my stay at this Waldorf London was the worst hotel staying experience I've had in my life. Starting with check in--- When I arrived, no one came to help with my luggage, i had to carry my 3 large suitcases up the steps myself. I arrived early and no room was available at the time, so I had to leave my luggage with the concierge. I was politely asking the concierge ( not sure his name was , but black male in his 30s) if he could leave my luggage inside of the storage room as my passport and wallets were in there. Instead of responding to my question, he said : "have a good day sir". So I had to repeat myself again asking him to put my luggage in the storage room. He responded with :" I said have a good day sir" still without answering my question. During my stay, part of their staff seem all have an attitude towards me, don't know if it's because I'm Asian or they're just generally rude. At my last day at this hotel, I requested 1pm late check out as a Hilton hold member benefit. I went down to the front desk 2 times to confirm because I didn't trust these staff, and I wouldn't be surprised if they throw my luggage out based on how they treated me during my stay. And the front desk said it's confirmed both times. When I went back to the hotel at 12:40pm, of course the key card stopped working, I had to go down to the desk again and told the lady at front desk at the time the situation and my stay here was a disaster. She did not respond with a word, reprogrammed the keycard, threw it back to the counter... At this point I was pretty sure that this hotel's staff aren't only just unprofessional, there's a big chance that they're just racist against Asians. I would never stay here again. Very insulted.

Andy K.

Yelp
Nothing really wrong with the hotel. Comfortable temperature very friendly Porter But I'll drop off your dry cleaning at the front desk they won't give it to housekeeping.

Spike R.

Yelp
I stayed for business for 4 days in October 2023, and I would love to return on a future trip. My room was tiny--but a jewel box! Everything I like and love for travel was in place: Adjustable lighting for tasks and ambiance; a pretty little desk big enough for laptop work; comfortable bath; and a kettle + tea setup with china and biscuits. Extra bonus: a big and useful gym. And oh yes, when I arrived jet lagged and starving, the doorman directed me to a nearby coffee shop for the perfect big greasy breakfast.

Ashleigh D.

Yelp
So... the Waldorf Hilton. I had a once in a lifetime chance to stay here in November. I found an amazing price on Hilton's website (the flex Honor's price, cancelable until 3 days before arrival), and I had heard how great the location is. The location is fantastic if you want to go to theatres. There are direct bus lines from many parts of the city, and it is a short walk to tube and train stations. The room I had was nice with a walk in closet. The bed was comfortable. There was enough storage space for my closes for 9 days. There was a cute alcove with a window looking north towards the BT tower, and my other window was south towards the London eye. I was on the 7th floor. There are some steps from the elevator to the room, but that is fine for me. The gym that you have access to is really good! I used it one day until I unfortunately started running in boots and gave myself blisters (I'm no longer used to wearing boots every day). The issue I had on arrival that I specifically requested on the request form was for the radiant heated towel rack to be on, it wasn't, but they fixed it for the next day. Why 3 stars? House keeping. House keeping would come to my room early. About 9 am. I'd be getting ready to leave the room to go out, since that's when my friends would want to meet up. It would be after I had breakfast. I would tell them, I'll be out of the room in less than an hour, and I'd leave the convenient "Please clean room" light on. When I returned to the room 12-13 hours later, the room would not have been serviced. I'd have no tea/milk clean glasses or cups for the next morning. The towels were dirty, and on the floor. (I'm not trying to be wasteful, but English shower/tub combos with the moveable plastic arm instead of a shower curtain, I don't understand them -- they always seem to have a gap, so no matter how I tried, the water leaks onto the floor, so I mopped it up with my used towels). I spoke with the front desk almost every night asking for new towels, toiletries, things for tea, and new glasses. I think my room was serviced twice by the time I arrived back late at night. This was extremely frustrating for a fancy hotel. The breakfast was nice. The executive lounge also nice. I only took advantage of the evening hor dourves once.

Amy O.

Yelp
Carmen (who worked in the executive lounge) is absolutely lovely. She is a great asset to your hotel!!!! The lounge was nice and very good hours. (My only complaint was the scrambled eggs which were terrible! I have stayed at several Hilton's in London and they have consistently great creamy eggs but not here, so that is a pretty small complaint!) Happy hour was very nice and made up for it. Over my 4 night stay, my key didn't work a few times and I had to keep going to the front desk to have turned on again. No, I did not put the key with my cell phone. It just didn't work. Strange glitch. Got to the point that I would carry my key and my passport to the lounge in case I was locked out again when I returned to my room. The room was comfortable and quiet. House keeping barged in without knocking once. So that was a little odd but I am sure it was a one off thing. The location of the hotel is fun for theatre. I would stay again.

Yelp
Fairly nice hotel but I was expecting more. The room itself was quite nice and was of good size despite the typical English set up. There was plenty of room for our things and the bathroom was on the large side. View wasn't much as it opened up into the shared central area. Executive lounge was decent size and had a nice spread for breakfast including nearly enough to make a full English Breakfast. A fair assortment out for tea and some light snacks later in the evening as well as soft drinks/coffee all day. Fairly nice bar off the entrance and a cozy sitting area on the opposite side. Staff was friendly and helpful and were very accommodating. Why the three stars? The door actuators slammed every time someone opened or closed a door which reverberated down the halls and was insufferably loud and the room HVAC controls were poor and we could never get the room to be neither too hot or cold. Centrally locate and an easy to walk to many attractions and neighborhoods.

Yelp
Pretty pleasant stay here, though it's not cheap and I probably wouldn't have booked here if not for the fact that I was traveling for work and this was one of three London options available on our travel site, so.... I got booked into a deluxe queen, which was an adequately spacious room in a city known for shoebox hotel rooms. The bathroom was noticeably large with a double sink and adequate lighting, which is always key. The room came with a large writing desk next to three outlets, including one that didn't require a plug adapter, and was great for my laptop. I appreciated that they included a decent hairdryer and a mirror outside of the bathroom where the hairdryer could be plugged in and used (I discovered previously on my trip to UK that they have some strange restriction on allowing electrical outlets inside bathrooms so the only outlet available is one for an electrical shaver). The closet was spacious and I was able to fit my suitcase and hang all my dresses inside. They use housekeeping every day, which is rare these days. The location was also perfect, it was right at the southeast corner of Covent Garden, so it was close to all the shops and restaurants there as well as Trafalgar, Piccadilly, and the Mall on the one side, as well as the river and the City of London and the Thames. The few drawbacks I found were that one of my windows didn't seem to open, and the fridge wasn't working; one of the lamps was also not working when I checked in and they had to change the bulb as well as rehang the curtains. Also they didn't include breakfast in the price for some reason (some bookings include it, others don't). At over £600 pounds a night, you'd think you'd get breakfast included.

Yelp
Classic hotel that perfectly captures the vintage charm of Coventry. The property is perfectly located as a central hub in London for exploring, and the amenities are solid. The best element, which is true at all high-level hotels, is the staff. I arrived at the hotel 6-hours after landing because of a lost luggage issue. I arrived with no luggage, no toiletries, no energy, no patience, no nothing - only to be told that, although I had a reservation, the hotel was booked at the level that I secured a room. Without any hesitation Sadia (front desk) assured me I would be accommodated. She immediately made me feel I was in good hands, and enlisted the assist of Stephane (manager) to not only honor my reservation (that was made last minute by me, so I could have no one to blame if the situation went south), but to upgrade my room as an accommodation for the confusion. Their ability to honor my last minute reservation, and make me feel valued was amazing. I appreciated the room upgrade as a courtesy, but the real value was their grace and compassion regarding my situation. The made me truly feel like a guest, and went the extra step to coach me on where to find replacement clothes on the fly tomorrow to carry me until my luggage is returned. I am a pretty loyal patron, and I've found Hilton hotels always return my investment in them, but the humanity and warmth I experienced with Sadia and Stephane took my loyalty to another level.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel in January of 2023. The hotel is very nice and accommodating. But the real highlight was the bar staff at the Good Godfrey in the lobby. Abby, Isabelle and Alexander went above and beyond. They make the best cocktails and have the best banter. Highly recommend going and saying hello.

Yelp
Unpleasant experience. Room was dirty and some parts poorly maintained (see pictures). A/C did not work nor did the mini fridge. Went for afternoon tea but there was a wedding party going on just next door with very loud music, combined with poor service it was not a good experience. After staying the first night we cancelled the second.

Yelp
Great stay, friendly service, and a delicious continental breakfast! Well apportioned room.

Yelp
With their incredible kindness, Lucy and Jennifer in the executive lounge made up for the lack of hospitality from the front desk tenfold. It seemed like they could sense we needed some extra love and they were happy to provide - there exceptional generosity went a long way and I'm very grateful they were there to help us. Probably the most valuable staff the hotel has

Yelp
Quite possibly the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever had. Aside from the location and the incredibly lovely doormen, there are very few redeeming qualities to this hotel. The rooms are small and the beds are uncomfortable. The pillows are paper thin. When we arrived to our room, the A/C wasn't working. We called and maintenance informed us the unit was hard set to heat. The room took 4 hours to cool down so we requested a fan THREE different times and no fan ever arrived. We ordered room service on our last night and ordered the vegan burger on the menu. They brought a chicken sandwich instead because "they don't have the vegan burger" but didn't call to ask what kind of replacement we would like. You will be specifically paying for a great location here but that alone doesn't make it worth it the price. We came here by recommendation and to say we have been completely disappointed is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to stay.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Very close to Covent Garden and all the great music, theater, restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to everything. Irena, manager of the Executive Lounge, was incredible! Such a sweet lady! She remembered us from our first visit a month ago at the start of our trip. She even remembered that it was my 70th birthday on our return so she had something very special arranged when got to our room. Highly recommend this excellent hotel.

Yelp
Wife, daughter and I stayed here for a week while exploring London. It was adequate. First, I must mention that it was a hot week--in the 80s every day. Because the air conditioning was pretend, the room was stifling hot every evening. And since the windows only opened 2 inches, it stayed that way all night. We slept in undies with no covers and were still warm. Upon going to bed, I wet a towel and used it to cool myself, to little avail. The beds were comfortable, the lights functional, and the closet with microwave and space to hang clothes and rest bags was great. The WC had a quaint, old-fashioned shower set up that worked fine after you figured it out. You'll learn a little more about it each time you use it. If it's hot outside, you'll use it a lot, probably. Easily the best part of staying here was the breakfast. Get it as part of the booking. They have all sorts of wonderful choices, and you can eat until paralysis if you like. The hostesses and servers are cheery and professional. The dining area is also the most aesthetically-pleasing part of this otherwise charming but worn establishment.

Yelp
The Waldorf is a stunning hotel in Central London, operated by Hilton. I called in here to grab some Breakfast on my final day in London, having had numerous disappointing Hotel breakfasts at different hotels operated by Hilton, during my stay in the capital, I decided to call here and hopefully change that, and delightfully I did, for £25 per person, breakfast or even stays at this hotel doesn't come cheap, but the overall feel is one of luxury. As you enter, you can see doorways and steps, but the doormen were on hand at the door friendly and escorted me up in the lift, the lift was a little slow and I did have some trouble with it, it was inconvenient using it. Inside, the hotel seemed quite large, it had numerous floors and rooms, there were some issues with the lifts going up to the rooms, for example, one lift seemed extremely slow, compared to the others which were frustrating and the rooms were small in general. As well as the service, and the overall look and feel of the hotel, another thing which impressed me was the Breakfast, which was of course my main point for my visit. The overall selection was impressive, which included an Omelette bar where you could go up to the chef, and order your omelette, watch him cook it and dictate how he did it, for example adding certain toppings and more or less of something. This is a high-end hotel, probably one of the more higher-end hotels in the Hilton brand, mainly down to it being a "Waldorf" branded hotel in central London, and it is somewhere I would choose to stay again while in London, it does deserve a solid 4-star rating mainly down to the overall feel, breakfast and service but certain issues such as the accessibility of the hotel, making it much longer, time-consuming and frustrating to get around the hotel even the Breakfast buffet, and slight issues with the wait at Reception during crowded times (such as with an ongoing wedding receptions), and certain lifts which go up to the rooms being slightly slow, I don't feel this place is hotel perfection to earn a higher rating.

Yelp
Lovely hotel, does get a little busy and noisy due to conventions, but nothing to fret about. Staff was friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. The only "poor" experience would be when we were leaving and I asked the front desk gal (Indian) if she had a bag (garbage/anything) to be used as a puke bag for the car ride. She made no effort and was short and rude to me. If she turned her head, there were Halloween pumpkins plastic buckets with plastic bags in there... mind you, this request was for a 9 year that was right next to me. I didn't want to deal with her..... the doorman saw my annoyance.

Yelp
This was a disappointment from a die hard hilton fan and diamond member. The customer service is beyond lacking. i bought the wrong adapter and asked for help from the staff. They told me they didn't have anything ( also the rooms have no usb charging ports) i asked if someone could buy one for me as i had been up for 2 days traveling and was exhausted. They said no so i dragged myself downstairs and asked where to go. They told me Tesco a few blocks away. However this Tesco had NO adapters so i wandered around until i found a travel store. when i returned i informed them and was told they used to have adapters but people didn't return them. Give me a break-- most people would buy one! This is just one example of the poor service. i ordered uberEats and this was another ordeal since apparently in London people have been stealing others food. The property is in an excellent location and some of the staff are helpful but this was not a good experience for me.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in London for the 1st time this past week at the Waldorf Hilton and it was an excellent experience. The location is key, it is in the theatre district next to a lot of shops and excellent food. This was important, as my wife really enjoyed shopping over in the Covent Garden area. I have diamond status with Hilton, and that was also very important, because it gave us access to the Executive Lounge. They served food throughout the day in the lounge, and had a computer if you wanted to look stuff up or print things out, and served tea throughout the day. The lounge was really really nice, I'd come home from work and go straight to the lounge for a little snack before we would head out for dinner. The room had an electrical tea kettle so we could heat up tea very quickly. This was great, because my wife could pickup some new tea in the market, and we could try it in our room later that night. They provided cute little saucers and tea cups as well. The service at the hotel was also excellent. We were able to talk to the concierge and have them send out postcards for us, and they were quick to answer any questions we had. We are Americans, so it was great that they provided us with Power Converters for our stay free of charge. The gym in the facility was also excellent. My wife was able to go downstairs and do classes throughout the week. (classes are often booked fully online, so you may have to talk to the people at the gym to get into them). We also filled up our water bottles every day at the gym so we didn't need to buy water throughout our trip. (they provide 2 bottles every day in the room, but we are water fiends :)). When it came time to checkout they accidentally charged us for some incidentals that we didn't use, but they took it off the room without any hesitation. Overall it was our 1st time to London and this place was the perfect place to stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel in a perfect London location, theatre district with easy walk to all points of interest. Very nice rooms, typically european size but comfortable. Staff is outstanding in every way, great bar and restaurant with a separate room for tea. Just what we wanted for our stay in london

Yelp
I stayed here for just one night where me and my dad got a room each, both on the same floor but his being twice the size of mine for some reason despite costing the same. The hotel was indeed very luxurious and located in the heart of London city, making it a fantastic base to sight see and visit all the major attractions, and the station we got off at was Temple which was only a 6 min walk. The rooms were nice and clean, also equipped with a shower cap in addition to the usual toiletries like soap, shampoo and lotion. The room had a nice big TV, the shower was strong and easy to use, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning! Breakfast is not included and costed an extra £16 for just the continental and extra for any hot things like porridge etc, which is a bit steep. The breakfast was pretty standard and nothing too different from any other hotel, but it didn't feel like a 5 star breakfast. There was just the usual toast, fry up, fruit, deli meats, yoghurt, salad, juices etc. We had dinner in the restaurant as well which was very good. You can customise your meal with a meat, then choose sides of your choice. I had fish which was fantastic. The service was very quick and efficient, and the staff were polite. The service was very good overall, but the guy behind the counter tried to sell us some expensive suite when I just asked if I could add on breakfast which I found a bit annoying, especially since it was just one night. In terms of price, this hotel is indeed very expensive but luxurious and centrally located at the same time. There is free Wifi, a gym and pool by the way. Overall: Cleanliness: 5/5 WiFi: 4/5 (lost connection at times) Gym and Pool: 5/5 Room: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Breakfast: 3/5 Restaurant: 4/5 Cost: 2/5 Location: 5/5 Ease of Access: 5/5

Yelp
A friend and myself bought a Groupon for the high tea offered at the hotel. So, that is the only part that I can review. Have yet to see the actual tea room listed to review. As for the experience, this tea was one of the best ones that I have had. We had a lovely time catching up over the champagne and the luxury teas. The service was great- as I expected it to be from a Hilton. If you are looking for a more moderate-high end tea experience in London, I recommend the Waldorf!

Yelp
Waldorf Hilton is a good alternative accommodation in London. Centrally located in the theater district, a little bit like the Village meeting Harlem. The hotel is a classic establishment with rooms fully finished and updated to accommodate demanding clients. Staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. The hotel has a handheld device, an iPhone I think, that you can use at no cost for web browsing, buying tickets, etc...interesting concept! The executive lounge is a great accommodation for elite members. Overall, highly recommended.

Yelp
First night and absolutely not impressed. Took an overnight flight to the UK, totally exhausted, we get to the hotel 90 minutes before check-in time, so we figured we'd wait, no problem. However, the problem is an exceptionally snotty front desk staff and poorly run reservations. Various agents offer various level of detail to guests - e.g., one says feel free to leave your bags with the concierge, but our guy doesn't say anything other than, "Can I have your credit card, and come back in two hours." Another person gets the description of the facilities. We are finally granted a room and get, here's your key on the fifth floor. As we head to the elevator, she comes after us saying she gave us the wrong room, here's the new key for the 4th floor. One key for two people. With an amenity for Frederic (not us). Another couple was also heading back downstairs after finding two people already in their room. We ask for a different room, and the woman literally huffs and rolls her eyes, saying all rooms are now taken, even though I reserved months ago. I hope Frederic doesn't show up in the middle of the night. It's too late to cancel this 5-night stay, but we will be canceling our second 5-night stay next week. Oh, but great location. And non-desk staff are lovely. That's the two stars.

Yelp
Very central location. Close to good eats like Dishoom and Busaba Eathai Convent Gardens. Tesco express one block down the street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room climate is maintained well, do not feel groggy waking up with dry mouth and eyes (maybe it's the humidity in London) House staff (engineering and housekeeping) respond very quickly. Concierge able to assist in making afternoon tea reservation at popular venue. (Written by husband)

Yelp
Great location--and that's the extent of the positive elements of my stay. "Deluxe" room was small and dingy, executive lounge was dirty (carpet badly stained!)--breakfast was simply cheapass, nothing like smoked salmon or other upscale items, more along the lines of a Holiday Inn Express. Net, net a complete disconnect from the $400+ per night tab!!

Yelp
After staying in several Waldorfs and expecting Diamond treatment, I was very disappointed in this stay. To start our room was not up to par for the brand. Even in crowded old London. Almost 0 amenities. We were even moved to a "better" room only to get more floor space and 2 beds for 1 couple. I heard the word sorry more times in my 1st hour in this hotel than I have heard in a year of Hilton stays. The beds were hard as rocks. The room cleaners were spotty. My biggest disappointment was the sense that you were just at a hotel. Not a nice Waldorf experience. Gone are the touches like Ferragamo soap, stationary, plush towels and classy amenities. This was just a roadside level Hilton. At over $400 per night it was not just disappointing, but insulting. The staff was very nice, but all they could say was sorry over and over. This does not hold a candle to Rome, Versailles, Arizona, Hawaii or ANY other Waldorf we have visited. A shame and a waste of money.
