The Walwyn Arms

This place is a hidden gem. Found when we were passing through. We do live around Gloucester but never really been to Much Marcle. The excellence started with the two young ladies who welcomed us as soon as we set foot in the place. A rarity to be greeted anywhere these days. Lovely food. This is a well run establishment ( a credit to the owners) A well oiled machine. 110 per cent worth going to. We tried the set menu but next time we will do the open menu. They also do a carvery on Sundays I believe. Cant wait to co.e back. Very relaxing place with great and genuinely inerested staff who will ask you many times.es if everything is ok

Definitely a hidden gem well worth going great food very polite staff. Food was so good we actually went for a second time. In a week. Prices are a bit premium, but you do get a lot for the money.

Great food, great atmosphere with being the tractor show, great service considering it was busy. Great tasting cider. Always visit when we come much marcle steam show.

Have visited this pub many times to eat, and went again today. Group of 6. Excellent food and service as usual. The carvery is very good, with a good quality of food-lots of different vegetables, lovely Yorkshires, meat and veggie option and generous portions. We asked before visiting if we could bring a birthday cake today, which was allowed and plates/forks/cake slice provided happily, which was much appreciated-thank you. A highly recommended pub.

Came here once for a Sunday roast and once for dinner. The food is delicious, fresh, and generous portions. The service is attentive and kind. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and tasteful. Dogs are very welcome, my pup even got some treats. We will be regulars for sure.

Our 1st visit to the Walwyn Arms As soon as we entered the pub, we were greeted with a warm smile from staff and instantly made to feel welcome and like family. Inside was lovely, homely, and rustic, The menu catered for most diets, and there was plenty of choice. Our meals were a generous portion And was piping hot and freshly cooked when served. More importantly, the food tasted delicious,

Best pint of HPA I have had this year. Food locally sourced. Cheese sandwich had chutney on the side, nice touch. Pleasant welcoming staff.

One of the best roasts I’ve had in many a year - and I’m from the north originally. Extra gravy for the table is a nice touch
