The Wandering Moose Tavern

We went here on someone's birthday so I think our experience might have been impacted by that. The atmosphere was crowded and people were everywhere it felt they shouldn't be; blocking doors, smoking next to entrances, and in front of the counters that served alcohol and food. It would have been nice if the employees asked the groups to move into the areas that had been designated for them instead of trying to have to weave between them. Totally get rude guests aren't a reflection of the establishment, but the allowed behaviors definitely should be, if there had been. That said, the food was insanely good from the food truck and worth the struggle with the other patrons just to get. The nachos felt worth the price point and the food was served hot and fresh. Once we were able to get through the crowds of folks just talking, the service at the bar was also quick and professional. I'd love to come back and give this place another try without the large group impact. Would recommend d.

I had a great time at The Wandering Moose. The beer was exactly what you want it to be - good, cold, and refreshing - and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. Table service was available, though a bit on the slower side, which made sense since there were only two people working (as far as I could tell) the whole place. Luckily, it was easy to just pop up to the bar for quicker service when needed. The highlight for me was the outdoor seating area - it was perfect for a (fake) fall evening. The atmosphere reminded me of the small-town bars I loved back when I lived in Florida: relaxed, casual, and just the right amount of laid-back charm. Overall, this spot is a great place to enjoy a few drinks, especially if you appreciate a cozy outdoor vibe and don't mind a touch of self-service.

Give it a visit. The food is sold/served from the truck outside, bar is inside. I had the Philly and it was excellent. Highly recommend!

I love this place! The food is so tasty and the prices are great. The outside area is awesome. Everyone that works there is friendly. I’m really lucky this is close to my house.

The food is pretty good, we had a beef on weck and brisket sandwich. Both were a little over cooked and dry. The flavors were great and the portion sizes of the sandwiches, fries, and Mac and cheese were a nice size. The patio is lovely for a warm day, but has made itself friendly to smokers. I hesitate to bring my kids back with the heavy aroma of cigarettes, but honestly the vibe isn't kid friendly so we probably won't be missed.

Update: love it here! Come a few times a week to see my favorite bartenders. Been here twice since they’ve opened. Pretty chill spot. They have a decent patio and a nice inside space. A little dark on the inside and music was a bit loud even for my taste. They have about 10 big TVs or so showing sports, a couple of pinball machines, and some poker machines. Food was great🔥. Would definitely recommend any of the grilled cheeses or the Philly. They do close the food truck at 9 so get there early! The staff is super friendly. We love Jacy! Its not really posted anywhere online that I’ve seen but they are 21+ after 7pm and they are NOT dog friendly on their patio which is pretty disappointing but there are plenty of other bars in the area we can go to with our dog so it’s not a huge deal. Parking as a bit limited as well. The reason for the 4 stars is because the bartender ran the ashtrays through the dish machine on the same rack as pint glasses towards the end of the night… 🤮

Chill spot! Very clean, modern and friendly with outdoor seating. NO food truck on MONDAYS. TACO TUESDAY menu and everyday menu (listed as on JULY 7TH 2025)

We went with a small group of friends this past weekend, and had an amazing time. There was a 1 man band playing outside. The drink special were very good. We tried the Blood orange cider and hope it's a standard on the bar menu. The food truck menu was extensive, and best fries ever. We will be back!
