The Waterfront Hotel

Stayed at The Waterfront Hotel and our stay was amazing from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly upon our arrival and during our stay. It was my birthday and our room was decorated so nicely. This was a lovely surprise. The bed and breakfast was buffet style and had a variety of delicious food. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea front. The location of the hotel was perfect wirh ferries to Valetta, Gozo and Comino just a short walk away. I would personally recommend this hotel to everyone coming to visit Malta. You won't be dissapointed!

The warm welcome we received at this wonderful hotel from all the staff was heartwarming. The location opposite the promenade in Sliema is breathtaking. Everyone went above and beyond to make our three night stay perfect. ||The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and the view across the water to Valetta is stunning. Everything is spotlessly clean and there were even complimentary chocolates and local biscuits in our room. ||There is plenty of choice for breakfast from fresh fruit, muesli and fresh breads to a full range of cooked breakfast and omelettes. A varied menu is also available for lunch and dinner options with a cheeky happy hour from 6-8pm. ||We have been to Malta numerous times and always choose The Waterfront as our favourite destination. We will be back soon.

Excellent stay at the hotel. Staff and service was great, really friendly and polite. Food in the Lobby bar was excellent 👌 highly recommend. Slightly disappointed with service from isee Malta rep as purchased 2 day tickets paid by cash from her as requested and when used on the hop on hop off bus was told that they had already been used and that we needed to get off or show receipt which we were not given! Would purchase direct from external vendor if done again not from hotel installed rep. The room was comfortable and adequate however the facilities in the room had not been thoughtfully executed and perhaps need a little maintenance and attention to purposeful use. The shower facility in room 401 was disappointing as the shower head kept sinking down and therefore you were unable to stand underneath due to paddle shower tap which dug in your back, perhaps needs attention. Also could be improved with either a shower curtain or perspex glass panel floor to ceiling to prevent the whole bathroom from becoming wet and damp after use. Disability aid on wall behind hairdryer did not seem to serve a purpose to be used and rail alongside toilet could not be raised and stay upright, it kept falling back down. The toilet roll holder is set too close to the disability rail and therefore unable to tear off toilet paper from roll and had to remove from holder each time use required. However we did enjoy our stay here and would return and recommend to friends 😊

Myself and my gran spent a week at this lovely hotel and we were so impressed and loved our stay. Staff were super friendly and so helpful, room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the sea and Valletta and perfect for watching the sunrise every morning. Perfect location as a base for travelling around the island. My gran is coeliac and requires gluten free food and we were so impressed that they had a full section at breakfast dedicated to gluten free and a gluten free toaster! Never seen another hotel be so accommodating to this allergy and all staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, and thanks to the chef who came out of the kitchen to speak to my gran about the options available on the first morning! |Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed at the Waterfront for a 3 night break and loved it ! Great rooms with a fantastic view. Excellent food. So much choice for breakfast. The staff were always so lovely and helpful. We would definitely come here again.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff, always providing service with a smile! Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. All the amenities we needed were already provided without ever having to ask. Beautiful location, waterfront like its name, right in the middle of all the Sliema action! Rooftop lounge with a great view of the harbor and Valetta. Breakfast was wonderful - fresh and tasty - with fresh squeezed orange juice and custom coffee drinks make to order. The breakfast crew was very sweet and took care of us every morning in such a kind and friendly way. Tours can be booked right from the lobby and the reception staff gave us lots of great tips on seeing the hidden gems of Malta. They were very nice to store our luggage and even charged my phone so I could get to the airport. Thank you, Waterfront! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Malta!

We stayed here a couple of years ago. Loved it so much so we returning June 14th this year to celebrate my 45 year NHS Service . Fab staff, fab room - ( hoping we get level 3 again so we can watch cars!) Seriously- we love sitting on balcony watching the different cars et al. Great view, great atmosphere in Malta. Room lovely- breakfast yummy - indoor pool great . All in all - a lovely Hotel. See you June 2025!!!!! Xxx

Fantastic hotel. Location is great,close to harbour and ferry to Valletta. The room was lovely with a brilliant view towards the Valletta skyline. Good food and good service. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone.Alex on reception was very helpful. Alexandra recommended our sight seeing trips.
