The Waterfront Wynyard

Had to stay in commercial accommodation whilst work was being done to our house. The Waterfront motel was the place of choice for an affordable, comfortable and clean alternative to our own place. |We had stayed there a couple of times before when visiting Wynyard as tourists, and we were glad to find that the place was a good as what we remembered. |Located on the river front, an easy walk into town and across the road from a hotel with nightly meals. |Reception staff were friendly, professional and went out of their way to make our two days the best they could be. |Highly recommend this motel for location and quality.

Beautiful spot to stay. Great views and access to river and beach walking tracks.|The rooms had everything you need - kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave.|The bed was big and comfortable.|It was in a great spot, central to everything in Wynyard.|The older style motel layout made parking simple. The breakfasts were delicious and the gluten free raspberry muffin I had one day was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here.

Such a great stop over or place to stop and recover. Comfy beds, spotless rooms. Great having the cafe on site with great food and coffee! Easy walk into the shops and eateries. Dont forget the view of the river and beautiful river walk at your door stop. So accomodating for our fur babies with their pet friendly room. They loved their fluffy blanket and treat as their welcome. A must stay for sure!

Great place to stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Waking up after a great night's sleep in the comfortable bed is a delight. Open the curtains and look out to the fantastic vista. breakfasts are a work of a chief, not a cook. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean and comfy set up with good facilities and a convenient location. Very friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Access to an EV charger was a game changer for our travel around the North Coast. It was my first time exploring that part of the Tassie and I highly recommend this Motel as a base camp if you are a lover of nature, fossils, or geology. I would definitely stay again.

Great Staff, Excellent location. Room was comfortable, inhouse breakfast laundry facilities, Hotel walking distance. Golf club nearby. Walks a long a beautiful clean beach.just a beautiful place to visit. recommend a stay there when in that area.

Love this old style , but refurbished motel situated right on the river and easy walk into town. Great atmospheric restaurant with books and games available. There are bicycles and kayaks available for guest use as well. Lovely place with a cozy and warm vibe. Its also motorcycle friendly where you can literally park your bike right outside the door of your room.

Comfortable and affordable motel room with great views of the marina, bass strait and across to the golf course. An easy walk to town. Near to a few pubs and restaurants. Great pathway along the water. Friendly snd Helpful staff. Parking in front of room. Close to a large garden and picnic area.
