The Waterfront Wynyard

The is a great motel. It has a great view over the river to the golf course and is an easy walk to the main street of Wynyard. The rooms, including the bathroom, are large, modern and clean. And the hosts were very accommodating. We decide to stay a second night, due to inclement weather on the day of departure, and they looked after us. Will definitely stay there again when I'm next in Wynyard.

Loved every bit about our stay. Great friendly greeting. A bit of wow factor upon entering the room. Loved the cushion covers and mood music. Bed was so comfy. Situated right on the river so great scenery. Breakfast was great. Staff fantastic .Air con great. 10/10. Highly tecommended

The Bowls NSW Para team stayed here for a week and we were unbelievably well looked after. From the rooms to the breakfast service, the staff went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was sensational — they even opened early each morning so we could be at the club by 8am, which was a 30-minute trip away.||Highly recommend this place. The views from your doorstep over the river and ocean are outstanding. Definitely a 5-star experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great location for views, quiet reflection, right on the river, walk to the main town amenities. Onsite dining, free parking, very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms had recently been renovated, conserving their retro charm. Clean, comfortable, cosy. Great amenities with a coffee machine, bikkies and plenty of milk. Great space to work, with a view. I highly recommend this place.

This is the second time we've stayed here and both times it didn't disappoint. The attention to detail to make sure that our stay was comfortable in every respect is so very well done. To walk into a heated room with the lights on and the tv screen with beautiful artwork on it was so very welcoming. It is the only motel accommodation where this has ever happened to us. We have always walked into a dark cold room. The bed was so very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful soft, snuggly and comfortable pillows giving us a very peaceful and relaxing sleep. They even have information letting you know that a further pillow selection was available from the reception office. The complimentary bottle of water left on the bedside table was greatly appreciated. The information booklet was one of the most informative information booklets that I have ever come across. There were even instructions on how to work the television, the television remote, the air conditioner, the microwave in the information booklet. The shower was absolutely fabulous, the water pressure was brilliant as was the shower head. Washing my long hair was so very easy to do. We even found deck chairs in the cupboard which could be used in the Summer months allowing you to sit outside to enjoy the water view. You deserve 5 stars for your attention to detail to make your customers stay there both a very comfortable and happy one. The hospitality, the friendless of the staff at reception and our overall stay was a definite 10 out of 10. This motel charges $25 per pet extra for a "cleaning fee". As I didn't need my room cleaned or serviced for the 4 nights I stayed, thus saving them time and money, they decided that a few grains of cat litter on the carpet aren't acceptable at checkout and they've charged me a cleaning fee on top of the $200 extra for 2 cats. Like they can't vacuum up a little bit of cat litter! I'm so livid. Nobody even tried to clean my room on the Wednesday. Not a brush and pan in the room for me to use. I'm still waiting for the photos that prove the room was left unable to be cleaned in time for the next person. Incredibly disappointed in this unfairness. I would like to add that next time someone asks for additional nights and the room fee has increased, it's courteous to tell the person so. People are doing it tough and I'm not different. This could all have been avoided if there was communication and simply a brush and pan handy for me to use which most hotel rooms have.

This is a great place to stay if you are in Wynyard. It's got a great view. The bed is big and comfy. Simple room but does the job. Blockout blinds and a decent shower. Simple to get in and out. Coffee wasn't bad either.

WONDERFUL WYNYARD WATERFRONT, a reimagined 60s style refurbished strip motel that all face the waterfront. Great size bathroom, and very very comfy bed. Lovely features retained give rooms a nod to their MCM past. The Cafe onsite had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, and the very best GF hotcakes ever. Great service and friendly managers and staff. Hotel and Fresh Seafood provider just metres away. Right on the inlet. An absolute must stay, one of the best of my three week Tassie sojourn. I'll be back.
