The Waterfront Wynyard

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and both times it didn’t disappoint. The attention to detail to make sure that our stay was comfortable in every respect is so very well done. To walk into a heated room with the lights on and the tv screen with beautiful artwork on it was so very welcoming. It is the only motel accommodation where this has ever happened to us. We have always walked into a dark cold room. The bed was so very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful soft, snuggly and comfortable pillows giving us a very peaceful|and relaxing sleep. They even have information letting you know that a further pillow selection was available from the reception office. The complimentary bottle of water left on the bedside table was greatly appreciated. The information booklet was one of the most informative information booklets that I have ever come across. There were even instructions on how to work the television, the television remote, the air conditioner, the microwave in the information booklet. The shower was absolutely fabulous, the water pressure was brilliant as was the shower head. Washing my long hair was so very easy to do. We even found deck chairs in the cupboard which could be used in the Summer months allowing you to sit outside to enjoy the water view. You deserve 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for your attention to detail to make your customers stay there both a very comfortable and happy one. The hospitality, the friendless of the staff at reception and our overall stay was a definite 10 out of 10. We are repeat visitors. Always happy with the accommodation. Clean and comfortable. Staff only too happy to help with any issues. Warm in winter with lovely hot water in shower.|Only comment is the fridge in the room is only a cooler and not really suitable for medication and food storage. Ok for a cool drink. There is no crockery except for bread-and-butter plate. Some cutleries but you can ask at reception for any further needs, especially if you perhaps get take away food. The hotel across the road has a good variety of food and you bill can be charged back to your room account. A very pretty location, with lovely walking track and easy access to main street. Caution advice, there may be a problem if you have a big 4x4 or long vehicle that might make parking outside your unit difficult. Plenty of parking off street nearby.

I had an unexpected stay due to a flight delay, and what an pleasant delay it was. The motel is in a lovely setting being right on the water, with well fitted out rooms. Importantly the staff are friendly and helpful. On the food side, the motel's lounge serves a lovely breakfast, and for other meals, there are some very good choices nearby. Maybe I will hope for some more flight delays in the future for a great value for money stay!

We had an enjoyable stay at the waterfront Wynyard which is, as it states along the waterfront. We had a nice walk and enjoyed some wine and cheese looking out over the water. Our room was quiet and comfortable and very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Breakfast was included and they have a lovely breakfast room where you can sit outside or inside where there is a cozy long fire. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the service was nice and friendly.

I highly recommend staying here and loved everything about it.|We stayed for 3 nights. The room was spotlessly clean & spacious with everything you needed including lots of storage for clothes and cases. |The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linen.|We had breakfast here each day and it was perfect, good food & reasonable priced. They also do good coffee and muffins during the day.|The staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble.|Location is great and close to the town and a lovely walk way along the water right in front of your room.|Wynyard fish & chips and the Wharf hotel both a couple of minutes walk away and food was good at both. The Wharf hotel had a great menu and food.|We’ll definitely stay here next time we’re in Tasmania.

We had 3 nights at The Waterfront Wynyard and what a wonderful stay we had. It was an easy process to book online. The communications we received prior to check-in were timely and I must say the link to the app is fabulous. The information contained within is brilliant - I reckon this should be Industry standard. We had room 8 which was very spacious. It has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, with a good selection of pillows. The view across the Inglis River and out to Bass Strait was gorgeous. The room was equipped with 2 deck chairs, to enable guests to enjoy the outdoor space. We ordered breakfast (Eggs Benedict / Scrambled Eggs with Salmon) in the guest lounge on our final day, and it was delicious. The Staff were professional yet friendly and readily answered any queries we had. Our room was serviced daily and maintained to a good standard. Well done to all at The Waterfront Wynyard - it's definately a place we want to return to.

Perfect! Stayed 5 nights. Very cosy and warm. Electric blanket on the bed for us cold frogs. Slight noise from neighbouring rooms but nothing major. Would definitely stay there again.

The stunning fish tank added a beautiful touch, and the calming sounds playing on the TV made for a serene environment. I honestly can't believe this place is rated as a 3-star; it feels more like a 4 to 4.5-star experience! Everything was super clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, it’s just a short walk to shops and cafes, making it convenient to grab a bite or do some shopping. The check-in process was smooth, and the café onsite was a delightful bonus. Highly recommend The Waterfront Wynyard for anyone looking for a fantastic stay!
