This was a return to one of our favourite B & B venues, though we hadn’t stayed since before the pandemic. In that time Will and his family have worked so hard, modernising the accommodation to offer an easy and attractive place to stay within strolling distance of all the amenities of the wonderful St David’s. A little more than just a place to sleep, our room had an adjacent area with a small dining table and chairs, silent fridge plus coffee and tea facilities, and a sofa to relax and watch tv ! Breakfast these days is a generous help yourself buffet, with a good choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurts, toast, etc. There is ample parking as well, such a bonus in St David’s. It will certainly be our first choice for any short break - a great base for town and country, with access to the coast path within a stones throw of the front door! Our thanks and very best wishes for a successful season…

Clean, quiet spot. Plenty of room. Short walk to town. Appreciated the 24 hour breakfast area. Comfortable bed, good towels. Enjoyed the peacefulness of this property as we hiked the coastal path. Will was friendly and helpful…we hope to return.

Stayed here with my partner for five nights in August 2023. Very highly recommended. Will is a personable, efficient and communicative host. The accommodation is ideally located within walking distance of St. David's cathedral and the local shops (CKs, the supermarket, is a few mins walk away), as well as being a short drive from Solva, Newgale, Whitesands, and so on. Our rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable. Basic breakfast was provided with plenty of lunch and dinner options nearby. One couple we met there has been going every year for sixteen years. This accommodation is run by a local family well known for their work for RNLI and we loved how embedded in the local community it was. Would definitely stay again.

Our longed for return to this favourite venue in St David's was perfect. ||Rest asured that the owner has done everything possible to safe guard guests from arrival to departure. Breakfast was served in our self contained apartment - with bedroom, bathroom and lounge. Top up necessities for your room are available for you to access throughout the day. The Waterings is just a short walk to Main Street and its many shops and restaurants. There is a large private car park, edged by the free range chicken coup where your breakfast eggs are laid!||The courtyard outside the rooms has been beautifully upgraded and has a definite Zen feel with a Coy Carp pond, trickling water feature and bonsai trees.||I can thoroughly recommend The Waterings as a safe, peaceful and incredible value holiday residence. One of it's prime advantages is that it is small and personal, so make sure that you book well in advance of your stay, especially as summer is just around the corner. Enjoy!

Excellent B&B in St David’s (Wales). Bungalow style rooms en suite. It’s friendly, clean and everything is in perfect order. The rooms are facing a very cosy courtyard with a beautiful fishpond (with a seagull that is so far unsuccessfully trying to snatch the fish). Will (the owner) goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!
