Beautiful property, excellent service. It is next to a train so rooms on the river side are a little loud. The front desk staff is fantastic. If you want coffee in the room call for the French press- it’s great, but the coffee in the lobby area is fantastic. The room was beautiful…looked like a west elm catalogue. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and clearly very new. Room was immaculate. The restaurant was great. Great food, quick service. Nice beer and wine list. Patrons around me at the bar were impressed by their cocktails. Very attentive and kind bartenders and staff. Only cons- it was a little loud. Train was loud and people in the halls…but it’s wedding season and there were 2 wedding parties so I don’t fault the hotel. Beautiful hotel and great stay for a great price. Thanks!

We've enjoyed staying at The Watershed (formerly Zero Degrees) over the last 10+ years while visiting our kids and grandkids. It's always a wonderful respite, and the new renovation is beautiful and well done. The team is great at knowing our preferred room location and pillows, and the continental breakfast hits the spot if you're on the go. I highly recommend this hotel experience!

We were very pleased with our stay here. Our room was a nice size. The furnishings looked quite new. The luxury vinyl floors were great from a cleanliness perspective. We did not hear any noise from other guests. There was a free continental breakfast with yogurt, bananas, apples, cereals, muffins and bagels. Coffee was offered in mild, medium and strong brews, with almond as well as regular milk. Parking was free.

Our dog was going in for surgery at Cornell University Specialists in Stamford and was going to be there for two days. We live almost 2 hours away and I didn’t want to have to go home and be far away from him so I decided to find a place to stay overnight. I thought since it’s one night let me find some place really special and really nice. I discovered The Watershed! I chose it based on reviews, which seemed exceptional and also the photos. But you never know until you get there yourself I can only say it far exceeded any expectations I had. You almost never can say that , there was not one thing that disappointed . Pretty much everything was better than I thought . From the people at the front desk, to the lobby to the peacefulness to even the beautiful hallways. everything was so clean and calm. The rooms were beautiful. I know some people complained about the train even though they liked the rooms with the river view, but I can say I am the lightest sleeper ever and I never heard the train once during the night. I’m also not a great sleeper at home. Let alone when I go away. I had one of my better nights sleep as that bed is so comfortable and they actually had great comfortable pillows.|Everyone we encountered that worked there was kind and professional, and welcoming, from the people at the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the manager. We liked it so much that we are going to go back for no reason at all other than it was a great place to stay . And there’s so much to do in the surrounding towns 20-30 minutes away. There are several community beaches , where you buy a day pass and you’re in. It’s right on the Long Island sound and they’re beautiful and pristine . There’s museums and shopping. There’s so much to do nearby . For us , It’s like a really great vacation and we don’t have to travel far and we don’t have to spend a fortune. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You will not be sorry and don’t be put off that it’s in a somewhat commercial neighborhood because once you step inside those doors, you think you’ve been transported somewhere else and when you look at the back walls, to the small river and rocks, |You will be happy you’re there!!

The hotel|has wonderful customer service and the even helped me with finding local|Places to take my granddaughter to . Nice Reno and staff. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Shower is larger than most and bed is comfortable. You can hear the train but it's not bad.

I am beyond grateful for the incredible staff at Watershed. My mom had accidentally left behind two rings—deeply sentimental pieces that were given to her by my grandmother. I called, hoping against hope that someone might have found them. Realistically, when I was first told that nothing had been turned in, we figured that was the end of it. It was absolutely heartbreaking. They kindly took my number and said they’d call if anything turned up, but to be honest, I didn’t get my hopes up—after all, it was jewelry. A day or so later, while sitting at my desk at work, I saw “Watershed” pop up on my caller ID. I braced myself for a polite “no luck” call—but to my complete surprise, they had found the rings! I was overwhelmed with joy. The staff took my information and mailed them back to me the same day. Their honesty and kindness reminded me that there truly are good people in the world. Watershed, you have some amazing employees. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait to surprise my mom with the rings—and for the record, sending them all the way from Connecticut to New Jersey just makes it even more special.

Had a wonder experience at this location. Staff are super friendly especially front desk Yatel. Hotel went through a renovation and the upgrade looks amazing. Rooms are nice modern and very comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I have visited this location more 5 times and I’ve never had any issues. ||Congratulations to the team at Watershed!!

Very welcoming staff, the rooms in lobby are really well done from the renovation. The restaurant onsite has delicious food and drinks. The staff there were also super friendly. We had a celebration of life for my mother and had a wonderful event in the lobby space. Brandon was our point of contact and he was so attentive to us onsite. The set up staff as well were busy and took great care of us as well. Thank you to all!

Yelp
just now My husband and I stayed for one night. I loved it. There were a couple of cons but mostly pros. I'll keep this review super honest. First of all the location is so convenient. It's literally right off the highway. The area seemed safe and secure no problems there. Checking in was very easy. The ladies at the front desk were very warm and welcoming, super friendly. The lobby and common areas were immaculate and beautifully decorated. We booked a King studio on the Riverview side of the hotel. The room was very clean, gorgeous, simple and quaint. The view of the river is so peaceful, but here comes the cons and my recommendation to decide on the trade-off. What I mean by that is you can hear everything that goes on upstairs if you are not on the top floor and your experience can be affected by whoever might be staying in that room and how much they move around and if you're unlucky yours will walk around until 3 o'clock in the morning like our neighbors did. Of course I didn't complain because it is at no fault of the hotels and honestly not even the people staying above me because they were simply just walking around their room, but it's something to note. It could be because there are no carpets in the room, the sound travels. After reading other reviews and the response from the general manager, she suggested so I'll pass along that information, that if you would like a more quiet stay to request a street view room. Now I don't know if the street view is just less busy and that's why it's more quiet but nonetheless, it's worth asking for. So the trade-off would be either a Riverview or quiet and a street view. Other than that, our stay was very nice. It is currently winter so I didn't have a chance to look at the rooftop patio or any of the outside amenities, but I would like to return. Also, it's worth noting that this bed was the most comfortable bed out of any hotel I have ever stayed in and the pillows... I would seriously consider taking a couple and letting them charge me because I cannot find them online anywhere lol.

Yelp
The Watershed is a beautifully renovated hotel (formerly Hotel Zero Degrees) with lots of attention to detail and design. The soothing wood and earth tones are both inviting and relaxing. The lobby feels more like a living room with comfy sofas, and window-side chairs and tables. The hotel sits on the banks of the Norwalk River, and there is a view of it from the lobby, some guest rooms, and the adjoining Sienna Italian Restaurant. There is also a beautiful rooftop terrace with loungers, sofas, and cabanas. Although there is a bar space, unfortunately, it is not open except for private events. The front desk staff and everyone else who I encountered throughout my stay were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a superior king room that included a chaise lounger as well as a desk area. The whole room looked clean and freshly renovated. The bathroom had a beautiful, spacious marble shower with Malin+Goetz toiletries! Grace Farms local teas are complimentary, but there is a French press coffee service option that can be arranged for a fee. When I read reviews of this property prior to booking, some people complained about hearing trains go by or doors slamming. I typically travel with earplugs so that my sleep is not disturbed, so noise was not an issue for me. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and will definitely book this hotel again when I plan to be in the area.

Yelp
This could've been much better. There was no coffee maker in the room, no hairdryer in the room, no security lock on the room door. Security was a concern. The door between my room and the one next-door had a key lock. No security lock on it. That made me nervous. Finally, not enough plugs by the debt nor at the desk. Come on guys. It's 2025. We're all traveling with multiple electronics.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning hotel with excellent views and a clean room. We were very pleased with our stay, from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this location!

Yelp
I stayed at The Watershed with a group for a wedding and had a great experience! They were extremely accommodating with an early check-in and a late check-out with no additional fees, which took so much stress out of the day. It is a nice, newly renovated building and was very clean. If you are booking as part of a group, just be warned that sometimes their website is tricky. It showed no availability online but when I called rooms in the block were still available. After that, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay!

Yelp
Renovated lobby looks great. Staff was fine. Rooms were mostly clean but dusty. However, if you care about any of the following, you may want to look elsewhere: Climate control - you may not be able to sleep with AC units that sound like a motorcycle in your room Shower water pressure - very weak Breakfast - lukewarm coffee and an apple (or pear) Cost - way overpriced for a hotel in a less than desirable neighborhood that justifies the price with a cosmetic renovation that left details overlooked
