This hotel is amazing. The peace, serenity, and zen of it makes the outside busy streets melt away. It is obvious that they take the time to truly listen to what a guest wants in an overnight stay. The rooms were meticulously clean and so well designed. The entrance is peaceful and pretty. The staff is so helpful. The roof deck is not to be missed. This place is exactly how you wish your travel to be—calm, graceful, elegant.

This hotel is a kind of oasis on a slightly scruffy, nondescript road off right off the Merritt Parkway. The staff is friendly and helpful- we got upgraded rooms without having to ask and had only positive interactions. Check-in was easy and the king bed rooms were spacious and comfortable and pretty quiet (ask for a room that doesn't face the road if you can). The bathroom was very nice with a large walk-in shower with easy-to-operate controls and a good showerhead. ||The fitness center is very very small but functional. The continental breakfast was fine- a decent selection of cereals, granola, fruit and bready things, with decent coffee. I didn't go up to the roof deck or eat at the restaurant, but I've heard only good things about the food.||The location is very convenient. There's a supermarket a block in one direction and a nice cafe (Cafe Dolce) a block in the other direction. Also a couple of dispensaries close by if that's your thing. It's about 10 minutes to downtown and restaurants.||All in all it was a totally satisfactory stay and I'd recommend it to anyone needing to stay in that area.

Such a special place. Staff are all so friendly and kind. You feel they love having you!|The rooms are spacious and clean, fashionable. |Bathrooms are large as well. We had a tub shower combo and I enjoyed my bath!|Roof top is beautiful. When I asked that the piped in music be turned off they quickly turned it down as far they were allowed. |That would be my only complaint. Music being piped in...it was hard to hear the water feature before music was turned down. I was looking for solitude.

I made reservations at the Watershed for an overnight stay, as I was attending a golf tournament the following day at a nearby course. All of the personnel were friendly and accommodating. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. For convenience sake, I opted to have dinner at "Siena" located within the hotel. The bartender "Shannon," was engaging and welcoming. My meal was terrific. If/when I return to Norwalk, I will not hesitate to stay here again. There was tea available in the room, with the availability of heating water, however there wasn't a coffee maker? I don't drink tea, so the options were to go to the area where the continental breakfast was being served, or to have the hotel deliver coffee to the room. That was my only minor complaint which isn't a big deal in the scheme of things.

Beautiful property, excellent service. It is next to a train so rooms on the river side are a little loud. The front desk staff is fantastic. If you want coffee in the room call for the French press- it’s great, but the coffee in the lobby area is fantastic. The room was beautiful…looked like a west elm catalogue. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and clearly very new. Room was immaculate. The restaurant was great. Great food, quick service. Nice beer and wine list. Patrons around me at the bar were impressed by their cocktails. Very attentive and kind bartenders and staff. Only cons- it was a little loud. Train was loud and people in the halls…but it’s wedding season and there were 2 wedding parties so I don’t fault the hotel. Beautiful hotel and great stay for a great price. Thanks!

Watershed is a lovely hotel! We were traveling with Dogs and though the hotel is absolutely perfect for Peopl, it does lack a little bit in terms of dog, friendly poop station, and ease of access to get the dogs outside to go to the bathroom. However, the staff was amazingly helpful and worked hard to make our stay special. They are putting poop stations in dog bags in sometime soon so that should help a lot. I would highly recommend it to others!

Hotel was very clean! All staff members were helpful and kind! Each staff person from when you check in to the staff that keep the hotel clean all had smiles on their faces! The continental breakfast was delicious and well stocked! We will definitely stay there again!

This lovely boutique hotel was the gathering spot for a family wedding (wedding was off-site). The lobby and common areas decor is woodsy and minimalist/modern. Very relaxing!|Our room was very clean and modern with king-size bed, huge bathroom and shower and 60” TV. We chose the rear facing view that looks out over the Norwalk River green space and railroad track. We had no issues with the small amount of noise created by the few of trains that used the track. A complimentary continental breakfast bar is available every morning in a seating/working/dining space off the main lobby. The property also has a gym, a rooftop patio with lounge chairs, and street level and underground covered parking. The Siena Italian restaurant is also in the same building and accessible through the lobby or street. A great place to stay!

Yelp
just now My husband and I stayed for one night. I loved it. There were a couple of cons but mostly pros. I'll keep this review super honest. First of all the location is so convenient. It's literally right off the highway. The area seemed safe and secure no problems there. Checking in was very easy. The ladies at the front desk were very warm and welcoming, super friendly. The lobby and common areas were immaculate and beautifully decorated. We booked a King studio on the Riverview side of the hotel. The room was very clean, gorgeous, simple and quaint. The view of the river is so peaceful, but here comes the cons and my recommendation to decide on the trade-off. What I mean by that is you can hear everything that goes on upstairs if you are not on the top floor and your experience can be affected by whoever might be staying in that room and how much they move around and if you're unlucky yours will walk around until 3 o'clock in the morning like our neighbors did. Of course I didn't complain because it is at no fault of the hotels and honestly not even the people staying above me because they were simply just walking around their room, but it's something to note. It could be because there are no carpets in the room, the sound travels. After reading other reviews and the response from the general manager, she suggested so I'll pass along that information, that if you would like a more quiet stay to request a street view room. Now I don't know if the street view is just less busy and that's why it's more quiet but nonetheless, it's worth asking for. So the trade-off would be either a Riverview or quiet and a street view. Other than that, our stay was very nice. It is currently winter so I didn't have a chance to look at the rooftop patio or any of the outside amenities, but I would like to return. Also, it's worth noting that this bed was the most comfortable bed out of any hotel I have ever stayed in and the pillows... I would seriously consider taking a couple and letting them charge me because I cannot find them online anywhere lol.

Yelp
The Watershed is a beautifully renovated hotel (formerly Hotel Zero Degrees) with lots of attention to detail and design. The soothing wood and earth tones are both inviting and relaxing. The lobby feels more like a living room with comfy sofas, and window-side chairs and tables. The hotel sits on the banks of the Norwalk River, and there is a view of it from the lobby, some guest rooms, and the adjoining Sienna Italian Restaurant. There is also a beautiful rooftop terrace with loungers, sofas, and cabanas. Although there is a bar space, unfortunately, it is not open except for private events. The front desk staff and everyone else who I encountered throughout my stay were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a superior king room that included a chaise lounger as well as a desk area. The whole room looked clean and freshly renovated. The bathroom had a beautiful, spacious marble shower with Malin+Goetz toiletries! Grace Farms local teas are complimentary, but there is a French press coffee service option that can be arranged for a fee. When I read reviews of this property prior to booking, some people complained about hearing trains go by or doors slamming. I typically travel with earplugs so that my sleep is not disturbed, so noise was not an issue for me. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and will definitely book this hotel again when I plan to be in the area.

Yelp
This could've been much better. There was no coffee maker in the room, no hairdryer in the room, no security lock on the room door. Security was a concern. The door between my room and the one next-door had a key lock. No security lock on it. That made me nervous. Finally, not enough plugs by the debt nor at the desk. Come on guys. It's 2025. We're all traveling with multiple electronics.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning hotel with excellent views and a clean room. We were very pleased with our stay, from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this location!

Yelp
I stayed at The Watershed with a group for a wedding and had a great experience! They were extremely accommodating with an early check-in and a late check-out with no additional fees, which took so much stress out of the day. It is a nice, newly renovated building and was very clean. If you are booking as part of a group, just be warned that sometimes their website is tricky. It showed no availability online but when I called rooms in the block were still available. After that, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay!

Yelp
Renovated lobby looks great. Staff was fine. Rooms were mostly clean but dusty. However, if you care about any of the following, you may want to look elsewhere: Climate control - you may not be able to sleep with AC units that sound like a motorcycle in your room Shower water pressure - very weak Breakfast - lukewarm coffee and an apple (or pear) Cost - way overpriced for a hotel in a less than desirable neighborhood that justifies the price with a cosmetic renovation that left details overlooked
