The Webster Miami

When I found out The Webster opened in Miami Beach, I was so excited. With an upcoming trip, I stopped in to grab some last-minute pieces and was assisted by a sales associate named Nicole. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing a Saint Laurent jacket. She packaged it up, and I was on my way. Later that same day, my trip was canceled due to bad weather. Given it’s 100° and rainy in Miami, the jacket was no longer practical, so I sent my assistant to return it the following afternoon still in perfect, untouched condition, exactly as she had packaged it. To my shock, he was told by that same Nicole that the jacket had a stain, been worn, and no longer had tags. Interestingly, when I was trying it on in-store, I had trouble finding the tags and found they were tucked into the pocket. So the jacket was apparently “good enough” to sell to me, but suddenly “too worn” to return 24 hours later? How badly do you need a commission to accuse a client of wearing and destroying an item they bought less than a day earlier? After endless attitude and eye rolls, I was given store credit (because I paid in cash) so unfortunately I’ll be back. Such an unpleasant experience all around.

horrible customer service. i purchased via their website. the item was 50%. during the check out process, a pop up for a welcome 10% off came up, which i added. that made the item final sale, which was NOT stated anywhere in the purchase process. the only way i could have seen that is if i went back and clicked the drop down cart details tab. customer service continues to double down, sending me screenshots of the RECEIPT which does clearly state the item i purchased (past tense…) was final sale. i have opened claims with BBB and Chase. buyer beware! plenty of better shops to spend your money at.

Apparently they close at 5:55pm. Not 6pm as indicated here. I had to buy something quickly. It would have taken literally one minute, but they would not even come to the locked door. Rude and unpleasant as hell. Avoid this people.

The Webster Miami is the original and still the most iconic location. It’s the only store in South Beach that carries such a strong selection of global luxury brands. The store itself is beautiful and the service is always solid. While the location is a bit unexpected—since it’s not in the area where their typical clientele might usually shop—I still prefer this store over their Bal Harbour one, even though I mostly shop there out of convenience.

I have had the best personal shopping experience ever with this location! I shop remote through Justin & he is always such a pleasure to work with. They have an incredible selection of items (especially Chanel!) and Justin always goes above & beyond to make sure his customers have access to the latest pieces! This is definitely my favorite little shopping secret & can’t wait to visit Miami again to shop in store!

Nobody asked to assist us, but had an employee following behind us, from room to room and floor to floor. I was wearing Jacquemus and Dior, but even if I wasn’t wearing anything like they sell in the store, it’s unfortunate to create an environment of fear and mistrust for a new potential client. I was saying “omg my sister would love this store!” because she is a designer (Chanel) shoe saleswoman. I took a pic of a bag she wants to send to her, and the employee following us shouted at my friend across the room (who didn’t have her phone out) for us to stop recording. Why not address me directly? He proceeded to walk behind us fixing everything we looked at or touched. SUCH a bizarre, weird, and uncomfortable luxury shopping experience. The products and designers in-store are very cute and trendy, but they only have one of everything in random sizes, and they don’t offer to assist you with finding anything.

good brand selection, poor buy. nothing wearable for my taste at least. even if i wanted to try on, i’m sure no one would have helped me. no one greeted me or talked to me the entire time i was in there. a guy followed me around the store but it’s not like i look homeless/like i would steal, i’m in a diesel skirt and miu miu flats lol. the merchandising was fine, everything finger spaced, but half of each rack has the garments facing backwards. overall bad experience which sucks because it could be a really cool immersive experience like opening ceremony was in soho before it closed.

Terrible experience. Returned a never worn $1k dress because it was too small and they refused return / refund because tags were not in it. Shipped it back in worse condition no hanger torn box completely wrinkled and the tags were still on it! This is a scam and I wish I had read the reviews because clearly I am not the only one who has experienced this.
