The Wensley

We absolutely loved our stay at The Wensley! The house itself is stunning - beautifully designed with large windows and skylights that flood the space with natural light. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered, from the well-appointed kitchen and pantry to the board games and cozy furnishings throughout. It was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by birds and nature and the perfect place for us to unwind. The outdoor bath was a real highlight and felt super luxe (even if keeping the wood fire going was a bit of a labour of love!). Our only regret was not booking an extra night as two just wasn’t enough. It was a bit too windy to make use of the outdoor fire pit, but we’ll just take that as a sign to come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil, beautifully designed escape.

Our getaway at the Wensley was seamless and relaxing. The property is beautiful and the views are amazing. Coordinating with Fran ahead of time was easy and clear. We loved the architectural design, and everything is very well appointed and stocked. The kitchen has a generous supply of essentials and cookware. The beds were comfortable and linen was great. We hope to be able to stay again soon.

Driving onto The Wensley property was just as I’d hoped. The hilltop positioning overlooking beautiful rolling hills was breath taking. We had great communication during the booking phase with Fran and the instructions on how to get to the property were very clear. The house itself was stunning; the design, the materials, the homewares, the products supplied were all beautiful quality. We had 10 guests in total and found the main lounge area very comfortable for a large group. Each of our guest LOVED the beds, it was like sleeping on a custom-made cloud. Recommended by Fran we opted to have an in-dining experience for our main dinner celebration. XO Project Kitchen were a fantastic recommendation by Fran. The kitchen and pantry was well stocked with plenty of dishes, serving platers, boards etc. The 2 fridges provided lots of cold storage space for our food and drinks. It was a wonderful experience hosting my 50th at The Wensley, one I will never forget. I hope to return soon.

Beautiful house with scenic views. Morning vistas we’re amazing and the vibe of the interior made it all the more special. There is a cosy feeling to the place but also a great sense of openness! The temperature control of the indoor space was also remarkably spot on! What you see is what you get and I would argue better in real life! The owner is super friendly and responsive! Overall highly recommended!!
