The Westin Guangzhou

Our experience at The Westin was truly exceptional. What stood out the most was the personalized and family-oriented service, which is rare to find in such a large hotel. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel not just like guests, but like part of a warm and welcoming home. Their professionalism and genuine care truly make the difference. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it convenient for exploring. The food was absolutely amazing both the festive holiday meals and the dishes served in the restaurants were top-notch. Facilities are impressive: there’s a great fitness center (though the gym equipment could use a slight upgrade), an outdoor and indoor pool, and a dry sauna for ultimate relaxation. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with a personal touch. The Westin combines comfort, quality, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that’s hard to beat!

We stayed 4 nights at The Westin with my mom and niece, and my mom really liked this hotel. Almost every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. We had an urgent situation due to overlooking our flight time, and the team assisted us immediately and efficiently, which we really appreciated.Overall, it’s truly the people and the service that make this hotel outstanding. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.

Westin Club Lounge Mgr Nand and her staff, in particular Tonya, facilitated to make our stay at Westin a great one. Hospitality and housekeeping are tops. Our Titanium Elite upgrade was great , and the subsequent upgrade was even better! Room may be a bit dated but is very well kept, comfortable and clean. Food and drinks at the Club Lounge were more than adequate. We preferred the breakfast here instead of the cafe. The sauna and cold/hot baths were good but busy. There's also an outdoor and indoor pool. The 5-10mins walk from Linhexi on Line 3 metro is manageable. Guangzhou East Railway Stn is also a short walk away and the u/g plaza is huge n great for shopping (Aeon is here) and many restaurant (Hakkayu) options.

The room felt a little old and run down, and the television had a grainy screen with the sound for each channel varying greatly. We didnt ask reception to fix it as it was late and we intended to watch only for a while before going to bed. The bed and pillows were fantastic though. Breakfast spread was limited but there were 3 to 4 live cooking stations which made things interesting allowing guests to try their local stuff. Their guest service were responsive to emails and friendly.Lots of small eateries nearby though so an excellent location especially if you enjoy late night snacks.. about 6 mins walk to the metro, which is direct from the airport which is a huge plus. Staff service generally impeccable and lobby staff were quick to ask guest if they required help. Apart from the rather run down room and the grainy tv everything else was good.

The hotel is very clean, bed so comfortable and service is fantastic . We had trouble getting a resturant for a large group on christams day. But the hotel manager helped us to get a place in their resturuant. We had wonderful buffet dinner. Family enjoyed thoroughly. I will certainly recommend people to stay here if they are visiting guangzhou. Thanks Westin for making our experience wonderful.

Rooms were not ready despite being informed that they were ready and we ended up having to wait for 45min for the room to be ready. Was promised to have our luggage sent to our room when it was ready and they even had the room number written on the luggage tags. But unfortunately despite coming back more than 12 hrs later, the luggage was still at the lobby. it took them another phone call to reconfirm that we were expecting the bags to be delivered and another 10min later before they finally arrived. Lobby seems grand and very spacious but there were insufficient seats. They only had some seats in the corner which were insufficient and people had to wait standing around whilst getting checked in or waiting for transport. Room was upgraded so it was very large and spacious. But it's a little dated and have insufficient lighting, making it dark but it was still considered clean and comfortable. They provided turn down service. Breakfast unfortunately was disappointing. There seems to be a reasonable ( I wouldn't say extensive, but it was also not too limited) variety but taste wise of the food I had wasn't great.

My stay at The Westin Guangzhou was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers. Prime Location & Comfort: The hotel's location is ideal, with very close proximity to the Guangzhou East Railway Station, providing easy access to the rest of China. It's also only a 10-minute walk from the Grandview Mall and other high-end shopping centers. The rooms are very comfortable, and housekeeping is efficient. Dining & Amenities: The Executive Lounge offers a comfortable space with a nice breakfast and delicious evening bites. The Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor serves absolutely sumptuous food, and I also recommend the lunch and dinner buffets on the second floor. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the world-class pool and sauna are a fantastic bonus. Standout Staff: What truly made my stay memorable was the staff. A special highlight goes to Yasmin, Lyra, Nancy, and Faye Yu for their exceptional hospitality. Fortuna at the front desk was very efficient, bellman Xuyang was extremely motivated and helpful, and Lyon from the second-floor restaurant provided wonderful service. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at the hotel and overall, I was very satisfied with the service. The environment was pleasant and comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The room was spacious enough, providing a great sense of comfort and relaxation. Special mention goes to the staff at the entrance—they were exceptionally attentive and helpful when we were getting in and out of the car, ensuring everything went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay!
