My New Year's stay was exceptionally pleasant, and I was particularly impressed by the remarkable friendliness and professionalism exhibited by staff. The room maintained a high standard of cleanliness, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and every team member I encountered was courteous and offered a greeting. The culinary selection was excellent, offering a diverse range of choices, and I was especially pleased with the variety of fresh juices available at the buffet. The hotel's location offers convenient access to prominent retail destinations, with Megamall, Shangri-La, and The Podium all situated within a 5 to 10-minute walk. A special commendation to Angel at the club lounge for her impeccable attentiveness, consistently positive demeanor, and overall professionalism. Her contributions are truly notable. I also acknowledged the front desk team for their meticulous attention to detail and outstanding service. I am particularly grateful to Sander for accommodating my request for a late checkout, which was crucial given my flight schedule. This level of service has firmly established my intention to select The Westin Manila for all future visits to the city. The Westin Manila consistently delivers a superb experience during my stay!

Absolutely Amazing Experience! Our overall experience at the hotel was absolutely amazing. We booked three rooms and arrived earlier than the standard check-in time. The hotel kindly provided us with one available room right away, which we truly appreciated. Due to the New Year peak season and the hotel being fully booked, most guests requested late check-out, the remaining two rooms were only ready around 5–6 PM. While the delay was understandable given the circumstances, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. We were able to enjoy the Club Lounge, which we availed of, and it made the waiting time very pleasant. Even better, the hotel generously allowed us to continue enjoying the Club Lounge and hotel facilities until 7 PM the following day as compensation for the inconvenience. This gesture made a huge difference and showed excellent customer care. Special thanks to the Duty Manager, Mera, for her professionalism, understanding, and effort to ensure we still had a wonderful stay. Overall, the service recovery was exceptional, and we truly felt valued as guests. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again

As a Marriott Ambassador member, I was upgraded to a little suite, which really did not impress me. The hotel itself is newer than other Marriotts in Manila, modern, with stylish interiors and a relaxing atmosphere. The executive lounge was okay — clean, quiet, with quality offerings. Cookie's been limited, just 1 in the Glass. The Pool area is excellent, perfect for winding down. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. As for the breakfast buffet—the variety is great, with many local and international selections.

As with other Westin properties I’ve stayed at, the lobby here is on the small side and a bit underwhelming — the rooms and Executive Lounge felt similarly compact. Even my suite seemed smaller than I expected, and the evening offerings in the lounge were lackluster. What truly sets this property apart, however, is the service and the famous Heavenly Bed. Every staff member I encountered was warm, engaging, and consistently remembered my name — they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The bed really is heavenly, and the room, while modest in size, was well appointed and very clean. The location is adequate: there are dining and shopping options within walking distance at SM (which is huge) and Shangri‑La Plaza, but the hotel is a bit far from Makati and Pasay for my needs. On a Saturday afternoon my trip to the airport took about 1.5 hours. Would I return? If my work was within a reasonable drive, yes — otherwise it’s a bit too far for me.

Excellent stay in a prime spot in Manila. The hotel is in a great location, with shopping malls just a short walk away. I stayed for two nights and the room was spotless. I was upgraded to a larger corner room, which was a lovely surprise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had. The room was very quiet with no outside noise, and the shower pressure was excellent. Staff were consistently friendly and polite. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, and housekeeping did a great job throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The real highlight, though, was the unexpected birthday setup and surprise cake in the room. I didn’t request anything and wasn’t even thinking about my birthday yet, so it was a genuinely thoughtful gesture that made the stay feel special. There are just 2 small areas for improvement. First, food replenishment at the club lounge during evening cocktails was quite slow - we waited over 5 min for food and even for cutlery to be refilled. For a hotel of this standard, this could be better. Second, on 2 mornings at breakfast (Seasonal Tastes), staff asked for our coffee order and confirmed it, but the coffee never arrived. Whilst the proactive approach is appreciated, it doesn’t quite work if it isn’t followed through. It would probably be simpler to guide guests to the coffee station, as coffee is usually self-service at most 4–5 star hotel breakfast buffets. Overall, despite these minor points, our stay in Manila was comfortable, relaxing, and very enjoyable.

I am satisfied with my stay, beginning with my check-in at the hotel, where I received an upgrade as a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member. The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant is truly excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh options. As a Titanium member, I also enjoyed several benefits, including a complimentary room upgrade and late checkout until 4:00 pm, which added convenience to my stay. Additionally, I received complimentary breakfast at the buffet, with the option to enjoy breakfast in the lounge, along with access to happy hour drinks and cocktails. There was some feedback regarding a musty odor from the centralized air conditioning system; this was noticeable even while staying in a suite. I hope the hotel can address this issue to improve air quality. When I entered the bathroom, I detected a slight unpleasant smell, which I believe should be fixed. I trust the hotel will find effective solutions to uphold the high standards expected of The Westin.

Im a bonvoy member and a loyal marriott user. I have to leave this review here since the app will only allow me to review after i check out. We live just two blocks away and decided to try Westin Manila for a one-night stay. While there were positives, the overall experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star property. Commendable Aspects: • The service was excellent. Your staff were attentive, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. • The beddings were very comfortable, consistent with the Westin standard of rest. Areas for Improvement: • The food was underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber. For a 5-star property, we expected a more elevated dining experience. • The biggest disappointment was the room odor. It smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old carpet or cabinet, possibly coming from the centralized air conditioning or the flooring. This was uncomfortable and aggravated my colds during the stay. Overall, while your team’s service stood out, the dining quality and room condition significantly impacted the stay. Based on this experience, I would rate it closer to 2.5 stars rather than the 5-star promise. I hope this feedback helps management address these concerns and uplift the overall guest experience. Very clean hotel, and the room is nice. Checking in, it was a little late. Got to my room around 3:40 PM. Service is so so. I requested a drink and chocolate for the welcome gift but received something entirely different and made a call. I requested for a roll away bed. Waited about an hour and a half and still hadn’t come. We left for dinner and came back around 8:30 PM, and still no rollaway bed. I make a call again and after 45 minutes still no bed. I make another call and took about another 20 minutes before getting one. When leaving the hotel I had a vehicle with the parking stub you get when you enter. I called on the phone to check out and was not informed I have to get the ticket validated. When I get to the exit gate it is asking for payment. I wait for the parking attendant for 5 minutes while there is a line of cars behind me. She says I need to pay for the ticket, and I told her that I was a guest. She said I have to go to the front desk and validate it. I wish I was informed of that as now it adds more steps on the process to leave. I wish the parking attendant can validate it for me or walk the ticket to the front desk to validate it. I am disabled and it is very difficult for me to walk. Overall I give the stay a 3 out of 5 stars.
