Review – The Westin Garden City Mumbai My stay at The Westin Garden City, Mumbai was overall pleasant and comfortable. The property has a very positive atmosphere with a calm, refined ambience that aligns well with the Westin brand. The hotel is well-maintained, elegant, and offers a reassuring sense of quality and professionalism. The staff were courteous, polite, and supportive, and their service was mostly as per expectations. From arrival to departure, interactions with the team were smooth and respectful, contributing positively to the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-organized, making the stay relaxing. Common areas and dining spaces were also well-kept and inviting. Suggestion for improvement: One area that needs attention is the lift/elevator system. As the property is a high-rise with around 32 floors (with office floors and hotel floors), the waiting time for lifts can be quite long, especially in the lobby. At times, the wait becomes uncomfortable and slightly embarrassing for guests standing for extended periods. Additionally, the lift display system on upper floors only shows arrows for upward or downward movement, without clearly indicating the current floor position of the lift. This makes it difficult to estimate how much time it will take for the lift to arrive or to go downstairs. A floor-wise display showing the exact location of the lift would greatly improve clarity and guest comfort. It is suggested that the management consider adding more lifts or improving the lift display system—especially for upper floors—so guests can clearly see which floor the lift is on in real time. Apart from this point, the experience was positive and satisfying. Thank you.

Excellent staff. There is nothing they won’t do to offer you the best experience. Chandini from customer experience team, Ms. Salgaonkar (cant remember first name) from front desk, Sonali tripathi and many others were super helpful. Needless to say that the amenities, rooms and location is best in class. Superb experience. Thank you!

Hotel is not 5 stars. At night at the ceiling blinking light, and it is noise to sleep. (Anti fair sistem). The bed sheet specific- for my opinion it is not comfortable. Very loud air conditioner. Breakfast- long line to go to the Breakfast, no pleace to seat. Popular food was not renewed (for example milk, fish etc) I had now pleasant stay here. But after review- staff was very helpful. At that day was changed situation with breakfast- was no line at the entrance, was opened more restorans halls. Great thanks for all staff. And attentive attention to child

Hello all Readers - ||I am a club Marriot Member and I stayed at The Westin Hotel, Garden City, Goregaon, from 16th to 17th December, and it was a truly delightful experience i must say . I was accommodated in the suite room on the 29th floor, which offered a perfect blend of comfort and elegance.||The thoughtful complimentary amenities provided by the Hotel — cake, wine, chocolates, fruits, and lounge access — added a lovely personal touch to my stay. I also appreciate the late check-out at 3:00 PM, which made my departure smooth and relaxed.||A special note of thanks to Ms. Shilpa Ambure, Loyalty Officer, for her exceptional hospitality and care throughout my stay. Right from the time we checked in till our check out time the team ensured special attention to detail and warm approach made me feel truly valued as a guest.||Overall, it was a memorable and refreshing experience, celebrating our 25th Anniversary and I look forward to returning soon.

It was my sister-in-law’s wedding at The Westin, Garden City. I arrived in a cab, and just as I was about to make the payment, I faced a sudden mobile network issue. Although I had cash with me, the cab driver did not have the required change, which left me anxious and unsure of how to proceed. At that moment, Mr. Parvinder Singh, the security guard at the front gate, stepped in and kindly paid the cab fare on my behalf. His timely support came as a great relief when I was completely stressed. Once my network was restored, I immediately made the online payment to him. This experience truly reflects the quality of service at The Westin. The staff members are not only professional but also genuinely compassionate and helpful. It is reassuring to know that such thoughtful and responsible individuals represent the hotel. “True hospitality is not just about service, but about humanity in moments of need.”

Charged for 2 breakfast buffets when I only signed for 1 breakfast buffet. Luckily I checked the bill upon check out and spotted the mistake. Receptionist handling me, could not even apologise for the mistake. Made me wait almost 20 minutes to check on it. Finally I demanded to see the bill I signed at breakfast and it indicated only 1 breakfast! Duty manager did well. Apologies extended. However they found it tedious to print out my bill for 1 breakfast! Had to wait another 10 minutes for this. Claimed the “system was down”. Offered to send via email which is another flaw. Payment made needs to be accompanied by a receipt immediately for proof of payment! For a 5 star hotel to make this kind of mistake is absolutely unacceptable! It’s a SCAM! My advise, stay away from this hotel! Many better 5 star hotels in Mumbai! If you do, check your bills when paying for them! Frontline staff needs more training on customer handling. Vast difference between the duty manager and her! A social etiquette course might be helpful for the staff. This goes also for their restaurant staff at breakfast. Very poor service.
