We stayed at The Westin Perth for three nights as a family and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location on Hay Street is excellent — right in the city center, yet in a quiet area that feels peaceful and relaxed. It’s an easy walk to the main shopping and restaurant precincts, which made getting around very convenient. The rooms are modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, with large windows offering great city views. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. However, a few aspects could be improved. Room service was inconsistent — used glasses weren’t replaced, our room hadn’t been made up even by 3 p.m., and an in-room dining tray we placed outside was left there the entire next day, even after we requested it be collected the night before. We also found that Garum, the on-site restaurant where breakfast is served, had excellent service but very poor ventilation — our clothes smelled unpleasant after eating there. Also, breakfast buffet was a bit limited and remained unchanged during our whole stay. Lastly, the $40 per night parking fee felt quite steep for hotel guests. Overall, The Westin Perth is a stylish, comfortable hotel in a prime location and a great base for exploring the city. With a few improvements in housekeeping and facilities, it could easily offer a five-star experience.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Lots of space to store bags and clothes. Concierge and reception are fantastic! Professional and excellent. Only complaint would be not having international adaptors available and the Aircond kept switching to eco mode which made the room hot ! Other than that it was great! It's a stonesthrow away from town but there seems to be quite a large community of homeless people around the vicinity which made it feel less safe. But other than that, fantastic.

Here for 3 nights in a junior suite club room. |Suite itself was huge, one of the biggest I have stayed in. It had 2x toilets and a large bathroom, plus open dining and living room area separate. ||Breakfast in main restaurant was really good and offered many options. Service was great in restaurant. ||Club lounge setting is nice, staff are excellent and look like they enjoy their roles. The drinks were good and topped up frequently. This lounge includes spirits which is great compared to other hotel brand lounges. |The food was nice but didn’t quite fit into canapé style - there was main meal offerings that unfortunately seemed to always include mushrooms. With an allergy this means missing out. More variety/canape style might have been preferable. ||Location of hotel is good, only a short walk to many shops and the main shopping area. ||Only criticism is housekeeping was not great - first day no one came until later in the day and none of the amenities were topped up for the duration. Our tea cups were completely removed on day one and not replaced. Tea selection is quite poor and basic for a hotel of this standard. Cleaning standard was good.

We had a great experience during our stay and we were on the 27th floor with amazing city and Optus stadium views. Service was great beside once when we went for the breakfast buffet we were told we are not booked in tho we had paid in advance and next, we're led into dinning hall to discover there were no tables for 4 pax. We waited a few minutes and were finally taken in and sat. Staff were very efficient in food service, and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed at The Westin Perth for a couple of nights before our cruise and absolutely loved it. From the room that was modern and very comfortable , just what we needed to relax before our trip, the location and the service especially the lady at the reception during our check out who helped us a lot, she went above and beyond by offering assistance to us given we are very old. She made sure we will get to our next destination by helping us booking our taxi she even spoke to the driver to take us to the right location. What surprised me is she refused to take the tip and she told me to keep it as Australia is not a tipping country and we could use the money for something else. THANK YOU KIMMY. My husband and I appreciate you as well as the porters/concierge who helped us with our bags. |Will surely recommend this hotel for your top notch hospitality and Kimmy’s heart of gold and beaming smile and jokes. Thank you Westin for making our stay in Perth memorable.

Great location, clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. However, I was disappointed with the room facilities ie I had to request for toothbrushes, shavers and vanity kits upon entry. In addition, they were not automatically replaced daily and I had to request again. The 'heavenly' bed failed to live up to my expectations: my benchmark was the Westin, Bangkok. The bed sagged and a senior citizen like myself found it unconfortable. In addition, Garum, the inhouse restaurant, while confortable and had great service, has an unchanging menu which got boring after Day 3. It also closed for dinner on a public holiday, which put paid to our dinner plan as most hotel restaurants are usually open 24/7. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable.

Location: Quite good. 10 to 15 min walk to swam river, Elizabeth Quay and hay street shopping. Free bus stop outside the hotel Room: Good size and clean Service: Free sparkling wine when we check in. No toothbrush or amenities in room but you can request for it. Cleaning services not standard. Some days they give only 2 bottles of waters. 1 day, they give us 8 bottles of water. Appreciate the team give us a free upgrade. Breakfast: Fantastic food. Fresh and high quality. Overall: We enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
This hotel has stunning rooms and the building itself is very new and modern. But there are several cons that should consider before booking: Pros - New, modern hotel. Room furnishing is high quality, and still looks like new - Great air-con, showers, bed, and massive rooms, with floor to ceiling windows. The perfect type of hotel room. - Lobby is great for drinks and relaxing, and there is a decent size outdoor pool Cons - Stingy on "soft" products - own brand toiletries instead of designer, and they only give you one bottle each of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner per day. Also they use third party Nespresso pods (L'or) - and even then only give two a day! No decaf provided. For tea bags there is also only two choices (English Breakfast and Jasmine). - Booked months ago, and in the reservation had stated we would arrive at 12pm. Turn up and the rooms we were allocated were not ready, but they did have other rooms available for us. Could have automatically allocated those rooms to us instead of wasting time at check-in. - The initial rooms allocated to us were an "upgrade", but they were the same Deluxe rooms but just on a higher floor. - Booked two rooms for 7 days each, longer than most stays at the hotel I imagine, so I was expecting something complimentary for the stay. Got one bottle of wine. One in total, not one per room. Halfway through the stay, since we were doing dry January, I went to ask if we could swap the bottle of wine for something else, like (non-alcoholic) drinks vouchers for the bar, and was flat out told no, with no alternatives offered. - Asked for late check-out if possible, as our flights are quite late in the afternoon. But was only offered 1pm, despite the long 7 day stay. I understand if this was a 1-night stay, but this was very stingy. - Despite it being a double occupancy room, only one bathrobe was provided. I had to call to get another, which then disappeared the next day, and I had to call again! - Valet parking is an exorbitant $40-50 per day Overall, the hard product is a good 5* quality, but I was disappointed with the soft product and service at this Westin, and wouldn't consider it again for a stay longer than a night or two.

Yelp
What a fantastic place to stay while visiting Perth. From the front desk to the concierge, this place has everything you need to relax or have fun. The lounge on the third floor is classy and the only complaint I could find was one new server working the post lunch people like me who got in after hours. She was attentive at first then abandoned me for 20 minutes while another server took care of another party. I will admit I sat in the back of the lounge but she knew where I was and after my food was served, never saw her again until I flagged her supervisor down to ask for a take away box. That has been the only hiccup and based on other employees picking up the slack, couldn't ding them even a . Great advice given by staff members on restaurant selections to money exchange that saved me a chunk of change. I would highly recommend staying here and would return to this hotel when visiting Perth again.

Yelp
Very wonderful hotel, good sized room with a great bed where I had the best night's sleep for some time. Very good bathroom with a bath and shower. Slightly disappointed with all the rooftop swimming pool /gymnasium because there's no outside space to respect the perspective and in addition the restaurant that I thought a bit pricey. That said the complimentary breakfast went away to pay for that. The staff have been so friendly and extremely beneficial. Great location, near to public transport and good breakfasts, would stay there again next trip to Perth. ||One little problem bedsheet didn't fit bed correctly. A pleasant stay in a well-appointed hotel in a fantastic location made even better by staff. This is our normal Perth house from the house which we would recommend to any one|| Cannot wait till our next stay. I came across the staff extremely friendly and helpful. My room had a view of Perth tower. Location was excellent - a quick walk to the central station and Paddy's market. It was my second time staying here and I'd certainly stay again The food is amazing and cooked to your liking. The shampoo and conditioner are nice, and the body scrub is excellent! The team really are all wonderful! I have remained on multiple occasions and the team are all lovely! The location is amazing!!!! Very convenient to everything! The adventure I've there is amazing ergo why I keep going back!

Yelp
The building, lobby, rooms were beautifully appointed. Executive Lounge and Haven are good spots for a drink & snack. Great location, close to anything one might want to do in a city's CBD. Service didn't feel very attentive except for Simon who helped us change rooms. Front Desk staff could focus better on details to avoid errors popping up. Overall a lovely stay.
