Had an awesome experience at the lap of Himalayas. The weather was amazing and the view from the balcony made it feel like we were floating in the clouds. Had the premium garden view rooms and it was truly world-class. ||Amenities: |Infinity pool, Spa, arcade, kids play area all were well maintained and exceeded expectations. My kid was engaged throughout the stay with stuff like craft making, Diya painting, Zumba etc.||Food:|Food spread and quality was truly top class. The staff was polite, courteous and went the extra mile to make our experience extra special. Shout out to Ms Ishita at Akasa. ||The F&B manager Mr. Rohit Joshi is a knowledgeable person and very well versed with the local cuisine. We were served the authentic Garhwali thali and the Garhwali chai and it was very delicious. Please check with him the local places to visit and he will help you plan it very well.||Ravi at Akasa Resturant looked after us well and served a thank you chocolate mud cake slice to our son on the last day. ||The evening hi- tea had engaging sessions like muffin making, mocktail making which the kids enjoyed thoroughly every evening. ||It’s experiences like these which truly made the stay a memorable one. We recently stayed at The Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas in the 1st week of August. It was a truly luxurious experience. The property itself is stunning, offering the signature Westin comfort in the lap of the mountains and covered in clouds. Rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with all the high-end amenities you’d expect from a luxury brand.||||That said, it is definitely on the expensive side, and the location is quite isolated — there’s really nothing in the surrounding area to explore on foot. However, the resort makes up for this by offering excellent in-house activities and wellness experiences, so you don’t feel the need to step out.||||The food was outstanding — from breakfast spreads to fine dining, everything was thoughtfully prepared and of top quality. The staff’s hospitality was warm and attentive, which added to the overall comfort of the stay.||||Overall, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a luxury escape focused on relaxation, wellness, and indulgence.||||Special mention to Mr Ayan, Chef Pankaj and The GM Mr Vishal Mehra. You guys truly made my stay worthwhile.

It was a wonderful stay over the Independence Day long weekend, even though the property was fully booked. The hotel had thoughtfully arranged Ganga Aarti and Janmashtami celebrations, which added a very special touch to the experience. Toya, the Japanese-Asian cuisine restaurant, was fantastic as well. Despite the rush hours, the staff remained attentive and efficient, ensuring residents were well taken care of. Overall, the team was very supportive and responsive to every need. Well-spent time.

A common theme you will witness at this property is people going over and beyond to ensure epitome of hospitality for any guest.||It all started with Nandini from the Westin's team assisting us with a pleasant welcome and a great check-in process. She was humble to explain the nitty gritty points of the property and assist us to our room. And not to forget the effort to make the special occasion felt with special decor, wishes and a delicious cake! Expectations raised high for the next 5 nights of stay||Rijo and Niraj have ensured every meal that we have at the Akasa restaurant we filled with joy. Rijo, a warm person, with just on pleasantries offered to host a pizza making session for my 4 year old and boy was he excited! Over and beyond, again!||Niraj had struck great set of conversations on multiple occasions and offered us many details. We love the Garhwal Thali he recommended - what started with one portion of pre-order eventually being opted by me and my wife. ||A key point with this property is the number of activities to be offered for kids and the nanny service at the games zone. Three of the evenings, we left our kid at the games zone from 2:30 PM to almost 7:00 PM with an hour break in between for high tea and we struggled to get him back to room even at 7 PM.||Overall, a stay well worth it.

I stayed at The Westin Himalayas last week and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The property itself is beautiful — stunning views, relaxing spa, and great restaurants — but what really makes this place stand out is the amazing staff. Everyone I met was so professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay special. Both restaurant teams were fantastic — especially the breakfast shift, who handled the busy peak hours with such grace and warm smiles. A highlight for me was the massage with the eye treatment — absolutely worth it! The lady who looked after me delivered a phenomenal experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting. I want to give a special thank you to Chenbi, who went above and beyond helping me organise a surprise birthday for my friend. Sorry for all the last-minute changes with the decorations — it all worked out perfectly in the end! Chenbi was also kind enough to personally show me the Toya restaurant when I couldn’t decide where to have dinner — so thoughtful. The cherry on top was our local tours with Manish and our driver Praveen — we spent two wonderful days exploring the area with them. Praveen’s driving skills were fantastic, and he took us to a beautiful cave he recommended — we loved every moment. The time we spent by the Ganges was truly special too. Also, a big shoutout to the housekeeping team — our room was always spotless, and they were so friendly, always asking if we needed anything whenever we met them in the corridors. The only downside was a few rude guests, but that’s no fault of the hotel — big credit to the staff for handling difficult people with patience and keeping smiles on their faces. Overall, this was a beautiful and relaxing stay, made truly memorable by the incredible team.

I often stay at The Westin with my children, and overall, I really enjoy the experience. The hotel is clean, family-friendly, and provides a comfortable environment for both adults and kids. The food is very good, and the quality remains consistent with every visit. One area that could use improvement is the responsiveness of the staff. While some staff members are active and helpful, a few others are not very attentive, which slightly affects the overall service experience. Despite that, it remains one of my favorite places to stay with family. I would definitely recommend it to others — with the hope that the hotel works on making the overall staff service more consistent and responsive

The Westin Himalayas is undoubtedly a stunning property nestled in the lap of nature. As a newly constructed hotel, it boasts modern architecture and design that blends beautifully with the serene mountain surroundings. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the sight of the hills wrapped in mist was a true highlight of the stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and hygienic. From the crisp linens to the well-maintained bathrooms, everything reflected high standards of upkeep and comfort that you'd expect from a premium Marriott property. Housekeeping did a commendable job and ensured the room felt fresh every day. The service throughout the stay was mostly satisfactory — staff were generally polite and responsive. However, my pre check-in experience left a bit to be desired. A member of the front office team, unfortunately, came across as quite rude and unaccommodating during the initial interactions, which was disappointing, especially as a Marriott Gold Elite member. That said, I truly appreciate how the issue was handled later. One of the senior officials stepped in promptly, addressed the concern with professionalism, and ensured the rest of the experience went smoothly. In summary, The Westin Himalayas has all the ingredients of a perfect luxury getaway — mesmerizing location, clean and comfortable rooms, and decent service. A few lapses in the check-in experience aside, I would definitely consider staying here again and hope to see even better service consistency as the property settles into operations.
