1. The bottom of the pool was littered with tissue paper and plastic bags. Reported to the manager at the spa and she said she’ll take care of it right away but no one came to clean it up at least for the next 3 hours we were there. Went to the reception to ask for a clean up and asked how often the pool gets cleaned. The receptionist guessed and said “maybe once every month”. The service apartment/hotel we live in cleans the pool every night and it’s a 4-star hotel. I’m not pushing something that is expensive and unrealistic; it’s either you do it or you don’t and it’s just a matter of sincerity. 2. One of the 2 rooms we had booked was not ready at check-in and we waited for it well past the 15pm check-in time. Considering that we were Platinum Elite members, I felt not welcomed. And besides, the rooms were far apart, which I understand, can only be adjacent upon availability, but again there were no explanations whatsoever from the receptionist upon check-in. 3. We had booked for 2 nights 2 rooms and after the first night, all keys for one of the rooms became inactive. Went to the reception and was told “you had booked each night separately so you needed to checkout and check-in again”. Told the receptionist that the receptionist yesterday had not mentioned anything of such and if that were the case why are the other room’s keys still working? And then the reception just said “well sometimes that happens” and fixed the inactive keys. Not sure why the receptionist had to point out that it was my fault and create tension when it could’ve been corrected easily under a minute. And of course, no apologies for the inconsistency.

My wife and I spent a week at the Westin over the New Year. The hotel was excellent - our room (King size bed, city views, 38th floor) was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The large bathroom had a bath, a large shower (rainfall and standard), and a toilet - well equipped with good products and bathrobes. Check-in and check-out was easy and friendly. We frequented the lobby bar quite a bit enjoying a large selection of gins and cocktails and the occasional lunch - a sophisticated space with views out to the bay (including cranes, cruise ships, and container ships). We enjoyed a couple of days around the pool, which had comfortable lounges and bar service (via a call to the room service facility). The location was excellent: a 10-minute walk to Marina Bay Sands, 5 minutes to the hawker centre at La Pau Sat (awesome), and 15 / 20 minutes to China Town / Boat Quay. Raffles was a 10-minute taxi away. In addition, the MRT (underground train service) was right outside the hotel and a 10-minute, 5-stop ride to Orchard Road.

Served by Yok. Amazing massage and gua sha during the facial. Very nice ambience with city skyline and scent in the spa. Rooms are very spacious and pretty. There is a lounge area as well to rest and have snacks, ginger tea after the facial. You can also use the spa facilities such as steam room and jacuzzi before your treatment. ||Wonderful experience.

I highly recommend this hotel! The entire service team (from front desk, lounge manager to concierge)is very professional。 As platinum member, we were upgraded into a club suite room, which is spacious, important for us who often work from our hotel rooms. The breakfast buffet is nice as well. All in all, a great experience.

Easily the best staycay to have in Singapore. The room we stayed is huge, modern, clean. The bathroom is expensive, very beautiful, well maintained, spotless. Amenities were adequate. No issues with the shower or air conditioning. Noise was however the only issue we faced - random noise from the corridor can be heard easily from the room- it isn’t as well insulated from noise as we hoped. Nevertheless, we loved our stay over the weekend.

Once again, the lovely team from Westin exceeded my expectations when I came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday! Much appreciation and thanks to the lounge team headed by Cora and Casey - the 2 lovely ladies who bever fail to make each stay amazing and cared for! My family and I were very pleased with the stay and amenities provided. Thank you James for heading this amazing hotel. Missing my stay already, and planning to be back soon!

My wife and I had our wedding dinner and stay at The Westin Singapore and the experience could not have been more perfect! ||Yan Hui was really helpful throughout, making sure all of our needs and requests were met! She was always responsive and approachable, proactively checking in on us to keep us on schedule in preparation for the day. Yan Hui was always on top of what needed to be done, and went above and beyond to consider what we might need even before we realised it.||Steve, the coordinator on the actual day, was an amazing help! He did such a great job with the layout of the ballroom to suit our preferences, was always there to prompt us for the next activity throughout the night, and worked so hard behind the cameras and the scenes (e.g., arranging my wife's dress during march-ins) so we could focus on enjoying our evening! Although we had many specific and out-of-the-ordinary requests, it was Steve's meticulousness and calm presence that ensured we had a dream wedding.||The food for our wedding banquet, and throughout our stay, was amazing! From the food tasting, the chef was able to adjust the dishes to our liking, and all our guests gave rave reviews of the food! ||Overall, it was a better experience than we ever imagined, thank you Yan Hui, Steve, Chef, and team for an amazing time!

The staff in the seasonal tastes are very helpful and friendly. I have stayed at The Westin Singapore from 25 Dec 2024 to 5 Jan 2025 and really enjoy the food and the view at the breakfast place. ||I am particularly impressed by Ms Zyaira. She is always smiling and greets us at the restaurant reception. And she will lead us to our table and never fails to ask us what we would like to drink.||I will be revisiting this hotel when I next return to Singapore for business or personal trip. ||Best wishes,|Quah SJ

Yelp
Great hotel! Extremely convenient, can walk to the metro without ever getting into the rain! And if it's nice out pretty decent walk to a bunch of tourist locations. They also had an umbrella checkout stand! We really should've used it to block out the sun a couple of days...

Yelp
Enjoyed staying at this premium hotel conveniently located for downtown offices, great food options and subway access. The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable. The service generally are friendly and courteous. Easy walk to Satay Street, Chinatown and Maxwell food center, and Merlion park.

Chanel H.

Yelp
The most comfortable beds! Great views and breakfast is delicious! Fresh made to order egg station, laksa station, pastries, fresh smoothies, juice and other random breakfast items. They also had almond milk!!! It's pretty hard to find dairy alternative here. Infinity pool is amazing and they have a nicely equipped gym to help stay in your routine while on holiday. Just a 5 minute walk from la pa sat hawker center and in door food court next door.

Yelp
QUICKIE REVIEW Location, Location, Location. Did I mention location? PARKING Yes, for a fee of course. SERVICE Didn't get any additional service aside from checking in. ROOM Room was clean and comfy. They have wireless charging available. People should be mindful that Singapore (and the Westin hotel) uses type G electrical socket. You will need an adapter to connect your devices via hardwire. PRICE On average, you can look to spend around $500 a night. You can score a steal with points if you book it far enough out. The preferred would be with points. Everyone loves a cost of $free.99. OTHER THOUGHTS The breakfast had here is one of the better ones you will have with Westin. In the mornings it is crazy due to everyone trying to sit down and eat but it was never to the point I saw anyone had to wait. Arguably this hotel has the best location. The hotel is literally on top of the MRT train station. If you don't want to take the train, Grab (Uber) is quick ride hail away. Majority of places I just walked as it was within 20-30 minutes. Lau Pa Sat market is 10 minutes away.

Yelp
Amazing hotel located right above MRT station (look for the escalators right in front of the building), so super convenient. Entrance to hotel lobby is on the 32nd floor, staff will direct you. You use another set of elevators to get to the rooms. Since the hotel is high floors, view from the room was really nice of the city (but also from hotel lobby!). There's also an infinity pool that was a bit cold if there's no direct sun on it, with several lounge chairs, but a nice view. There's also a fitness center with a decent amount of equipment and free weights. In the room, the bathroom was spacious with as good of a view as the room. The beds were large and comfortable. Note that the outlet in the room was UK-style, but there was a universal one near the desk, so bring a converter if you're not local! All in all, spacious and comfortable hotel, convenient location. Staff was very friendly and we didn't have any issues.

Yelp
This was far and away the best hotel stay I have ever had on planet Earth. My family and I stayed here twice for a total of 11 days while on vacation in the region. The facility is modern and quietly upscale - think Mandarin Oriental. The rooms were exquisite and views amazing. My children and wife made fun of the fact that I would watch port activities for hours on end before they woke up as I tried to understand everything that was going on. You will see some of the largest and most interesting ships ever made. The morning breakfast buffet was galaxy-class. We all loved the variety and the exceptional service. It was great competition to the unique food markets located everywhere in Singapore. The infinity pool provides an amazing view of downtown and the surrounding seas and ships. The lobby and bar have the most professional hospitality people I have ever encountered and the cocktails were excellent as well. From the Westing, you are yards away from a food market and the metro. And don't miss the fact that half the city is underground!! You can stay at the Marina Sands and feel like you are waking up inside an amusement park everyday or you can stay here and enjoy the zen-like atmosphere and service.

Yelp
We drove to Singapore and stayed at the Westin for a week. As a lifetime titanium elite member, we got to stay on the 43rd floor. Just three floors short of the top floor. Surprisingly, the hotel lobby is located on the 32nd floor and the lower floors are offices and shops. Our room was amazing with a view of the ocean. The hotel had great amenities including an infinity pool that overlooked the Marina One building as well as the ocean.

Yelp
Classy Hotel with modern personality. Convenient location: MRT station right under the hotel for TEL line. Or 1/2 blocks away for Downtown Line (DTL). 2 blocks away from Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center. Very quiet on the weekends due to location in the financial district. Nice location to relax & unwind, away from the hustle & bustle, OR for vacation with family. Room size are considered large by SG standard. Gym has variety of standard equipments but small in size. Same with whirlpool/jacuzzi ; limited and for such high end hotel, i expected more. Their spa options though, are extensive. Will definitely stay here again

Yelp
Just terrible service. 12 people were trapped in their elevator (elevator 1) for about 15min or more. No response on emergency intercom. The elevator was under capacity (20people as stated on the elevator wall, and certainly less than 1300kg). Worse still, once the elevator opened itself (NOT FIXED BY THE HOTEL) and we're able to get off, the staff were not at all apologetic, in fact blaming us for the issue. 110% unacceptable. The staff should be reprimanded and all visitors warned against staying at this hotel.

Yelp
Very nice hotel and staff that work the breakfast room were very nice and all the food was awesome. The room was clean and the beds were nice. The bathroom has this big tub and shower. I would go this this hotel again and its two block from Lau pu Sat Hawke center. This hotel seems like in the financial district of Singapore. There are two MRT across the street.

Christina N.

Yelp
Prime location near Marina bay, next to Asia square tower, and walking distance to downtown MRT. I was in Singapore for work stayed here for a few nights and had a pleasant experience. The room had a great view of the bay, there was a nice infinity pool, and the gym was decent too. I had the King bedroom and it had a tub, a rainfall shower, and a great view from the bathroom. The hotel lobby is located on the 32nd storey, while the grab/ cab pickup was on the first storey. Recommended!

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Westin Singapore for 2 nights in May 2019. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything about it: the location is really close to Gardens by the Bay, the infinity pool is incredible, the view of the Marina Bay is great (although new buildings might block many rooms' view), the gym is great and clean, and the club lounge gas great food. Definitely one of my favorite Marriott properties. Video of room tour from our stay: https://youtu.be/HJDlKj49u5c

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel, prime location near the Marina Bay. Next door to the Food Garden of Asia Square Towers and super close to the Downtown MRT station. I love the King Deluxe Bedroom that I stayed in. It had a tub, rainfall shower, and had a killer view of the city. The pool and the gym are both on the same floor as one another. I loved the TRX equipment at the gym. Never seen it at other hotels before. Will stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Linda W.

Yelp
Love Singapore and loved my stay here on 5/3-5/5. Bathroom was dreamy. Huge with awesome rain shower and double basin sink. Bed was super comfy. They even had lavender oil on the bedside table that's supposed to relax you and put you to sleep. Infinity pool (don't know how it compares to the one at MBS) but it was nice. Downtown MTR station was only 3 min away. Gym had great views and was not as inky-dink as some other hotel gyms. Even had the TRX machines. Staff was really friendly too. Wish I could stay here forever :(

Yelp
Love this hotel! It just opened back in Nov, a few months back, and it is awesome. I love that it's new and modern. You have to take the elevator to I believe the 34th floor to get to the lobby, and then another elevator to get to the guest rooms, spa, pool, and fitness center. It reminds me of the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong, kind of the same concept since it brings you all the way up. I really liked the room and my stay at the Westin. I was originally staying at the Sheraton but it was too old and subpar that I decided to jump over to the Westin even though it costed more points, and boy, I'm so glad I made the switch. I couldn't be happier. I basically spend almost all of my weekend stay in Singapore at the hotel because it just has such great amenities. This is my 2nd time in Singapore, and the 1st time I stayed at Marina Bay Sands. I much prefer this Westin over MBS. MBS is overrated and too crowded like an airport. I like this smaller, cleaner, more modern, and quieter feel. The lobby is quite posh IMO. The Exec Lounge is awesomeeeee. Breakfast is great. Snack time is great. I went ALL the time. I can't wait to stay at this Westin again. Absolutely loved it.

Anne Sophie B.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and great service. From the infinity pool on the 38th floor to the amazing corner room with breathtaking views of the city, I doubt I will ever stay at a hotel this nice again.

Christina M.

Yelp
One of the best Westin's I had ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a bunch of them around the world since I have been traveling so much for work the last three years. The quality of Westin's really vary country to country, with the US being worst, generally. This Westin's rooms were impeccably clean and nice. The hotel offered to upgrade me to a suite on my second day and I did not bother taking it because my room was nice enough already. That was the first time I had ever declined a room upgrade...just saying. The views from this hotel are amazing. The infinity pool was beautiful. The Starwood lounge was also on the same floor as the pool and had great views as well. There's also a spa that you're allowed to use for free, even if you're not getting a massage. Finally, the breakfast served in the morning was huge! There were tons of vegetarian options and the chef made me vegan versions of some of the vegetarian options upon my request. High Five! The chef made the most amazing Indian food in all of Singapore. My favorite dish was the spicy breakfast potato soup. So good! Overall, for a Westin, this place gets 10 stars from me. I would definitely stay at this Westin again.

Robert N.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Clean, large, and modern. The staff here is extremely helpful from the bellboys to the front desk reception. Definitely a hotel I will stay at again for both pleasure and business. Taxi's and Grabs will pick up directly at the main lobby, super convenient. This hotel has awesome view of the bay and the city. Do take advantage of their infinity pool!

Dwight G.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. Rooms are kind of small but still very nice. I stayed on the executive floor so I am not sure how other rooms look in this hotel. I found it a little frustrating to come in and have to take an elevator up to the hotel lobby and then get off and transfer to another elevator to go up to the room. Maybe it's for safety reasons but Singapore feels pretty safe all over. They also had a sign posted about an oyster happy hour only on certain nights. I went to find out where the oysters were being served and was told that they were not doing them that night because another event was being held in the room. I was a little disappointed as I love oysters and had been looking to try some that night. This Marriott lounge was one of the best Marriott lounges I have been to. Nicely decorated, great view, food was excellent and I enjoyed the premium whiskies that they had for members. I think as soon as I saw that they had Michter's whiskey it was my #1 lounge from that point. If you have access definitely visit for breakfast and afternoon happy hour and snacks.

Kat K.

Yelp
For a soft open - I know there may be a few kinks to be worked out - but I definitely can't see or detect them at all. The Westin Singapore is pretty much so new that you can still smell the newness in the walls and furnishings. The suite I had stayed in was extremely comfortable and I found that the staff is pretty much eager and informed and super ready to please right from the get go. The pool you should check out - while it isn't a big one - the infinity edge gives you a view of the South China Sea and the Port plus just off to the left - you should be able to catch a glimpse of the Flyer and the Sands. If you are lucky enough to be an SPG member and you have access to the executive lounge - definitely take the time to scope it out at night and during the day. The night view is amazing and you can enjoy the view with the provided snacks and drinks and there is complimentary wifi in the lounge - otherwise there is a charge for wifi. Not to worry if you don't have access to the lounge - the pool area offers the same view minus the Air conditioned comfort - but definitely worth scoping out. There is a lower floor to take in the view - but if you are a hotel guest - this may be easier and quieter or the Pool area patio - which is on the same floor as the lounge. The gym is impressive with a good selection of equipment and if you forgot your workout gear - they will loan you what you need for a fee; they also provide you with headphones should you need them for your work out. Note: I was travelling with a SPG platinum member and arrived on the first day of the soft open; so some experiences may be unique for those reasons alone.

Charlynn K.

Yelp
Love our impromptu stay here! Though the hotel is located in the CBD area, it is relatively free from the office crowd during the weekends. Food options at the Asia Square Tower were limited to the first floor cafes as the rest of the food options on the other floors were closed on weekends. However, fret not, there is the nearby Lau Pa Sat and outdoor night market where you can get cheap local food! Love the service and attentiveness of the staff, greeting you with smiles at every turn. Even the Housekeeping staff who were mostly Chinese Nationals were polite and greeted us. I took a top-down picture of the bar from the floor above and the staff who saw me taking a photo, gamely looked up, smiled and posed! How lovely! Our room was very quiet and even while we were walking along the corridor to our room, it was very very quiet! Though the pool was small compared to other hotels, it offered a nice overview of the Marina Bay area. Currently, there is some construction going on down below so the view isn't that fantastic but it will be awesome when the works are done! We stayed at the pool from afternoon till evening and I had a nice nap on the lounge chair. It can be pretty chilly at the poolside when the sun sets but the view is oh so lovely! There is even a full-fledged bathroom located at the pool side with amenities and towels! The bathroom though, can only fit one person at a time. Loved the room and free-standing bath tub - very clean and comfortable. Noise is basically limited to the room so we felt that the room was sufficiently sound proof - yes we did a noise test were my friend started talking loudly with the TV on and I walked up and down outside the corridor to see if any noise can be heard! =p Overall, love my stay here so much that I am already planning a return staycation!

Johana C.

Yelp
Very good and clean hotel. The location is also very good although there is some construction around the hotel we weren't too bothered by it. Reception is located on 33 floor so the hotel is a bit broken up throughout different floors but again that didn't bother us much. Room: spacious, floor to ceiling windows, very comfortable bed and with very soft sheets. The bathroom was also very spacious and both the soaker tub and shower had floor to ceiling windows and views over the city. Breakfast and business club food: decent but nothing special, offers variety of both European and Asian breakfast choices. They do gave soy milk which is a plus (always!). Others: the hotel has an infinity pool but it is was too cold for my liking and is not very deep nor long so it is sort of limited for a good swim. The gym is nice and functional, not ton of cardio machines so make sure you get in after the morning rush if you can. Also wanted to point out that the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Wow! This hotel beat expectations in every way and is the nicest Westin I've ever stayed in. My room easily topped the couple of St. Regises I've visited. With extra tall ceilings and lots of floor space, the place feels huge. Everything was impeccably clean, and the little amenities like room light control from the bed, a morning newspaper, and ample charging outlets made my stay hassle-free. My room had two double beds which were somewhat smaller than American standard doubles but bigger than European twins. It also had a small couch for relaxing and a nice big desk area. But best of all: the bathroom! Wow. Separate toilet and shower areas, a soaking tub, and everything finished in beautiful cream tile. The lobby is gorgeous and service was excellent. Clearly I was totally impressed and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Jonah K.

Yelp
One of the nicest Westins I've seen anywhere in the world. Really awesome room, and a great upgrade. The buffet was pretty good here overall too. Excellent spot.

Danny T.

Yelp
Awesome hotel with great rooms and friendly staff. rooftop pool is nice and is just above the outdoor bar area. Very chilled.

Kash S.

Yelp
Really great hotel. Beautiful space with some of the best views of Singapore Bay and Harbor. Solid breakfast buffet and nice bar. The staff is very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay there over Chinese New Year. The taxi and valet attendants are not very engaged or motivated to help you get a cab, so I would use Uber or another similar app. And the down comforters have an odd characteristic, probably from being washed so much, but if you hold them to the sunlight it looks crazy stained. But the housekeeping manager assured us it's the feathers in the comforter. We believed him and after the short scare we enjoyed all aspects of our stay. You can't be the location and this is one of the nicer Westin's in the world. Definitely recommend it.

Sangorama s.

Yelp
Great rooms, top notch service, nice executive floor lounge. The gym is a bit small but clean. Was upgraded to a jr.suite ~ thank you! Breakfast at the exec lounge is small but had everything I needed including egg station and made to order pancakes and waffles. Muesli was pretty delicious. Airport pick-up is a little on the expensive side but what's not in SG? The car looked and felt brand new. Gave me a little belated d-day gift ~ totally surprised. Will definitely be back.

Sam W.

Yelp
The westin Singapore pampered us. Granted, we had lounge access. But overall, the staff were friendly and professional. I like the infinity pool best of all. Awesome.

Barbie G.

Yelp
This is probably one of the worst places I stayed. To keep it short, can't get hot water in the room (after traveling for 22 hours, this is even more annoying) and the stairwell will let you in, but won't let you out. Location is good but these two things make it a place that I never want to come back to.

Yuri Y.

Yelp
This is a very good hotel, albeit expensive, located next to CBD. Hotel is fairly new, with modern rooms with clean everything, staff is very friendly, great swimming pool and acceptable size workout area. Food options are somewhat limited compare to other SPG hotels in Singapore. Just across the street there are construction sites where almost 24 x 7 two skyscrapers are being built. It personally did not bother me too much as I was exhausted at night, but next time I definitely look at other SPG hotels as well.

Melodee P.

Yelp
Very convenient to cruise port. Only a few minutes away. Also close by to the Marina Sands casino hotel. I found the rooms very clean and modern with a marble bathroom and beautiful infinity rooftop pool.

G S.

Yelp
I stayed here two years ago and it was wonderful! At the time it was close to our office, which is why I chose it. You also know what to expect when staying at a Westin. The hotel was a year old at the time so everything was new and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, food, drinks and view from the bar area.
