This is our second year staying at this hotel for my birthday. It's becoming our tradition! We love it because our son (6) loves the roomy suite rooms and the heated pool. We love the proximity to downtown Napa and the friendliest staff (thank you for my birthday card, wine, chocolate, and a birthday balloon). We will be back again next year (or sooner)! *one thing I would like to note is that - though we love our room this year - I think we are near the service elevator or something (we can hear something going up and down and stopping all night long) - but it is still a great suite.

We called this hotel when we were sitting in our room down the street at the Marriott. We had just checked in and discovered not only the hotel, but the room to be a total nightmare. The front desk agent named Grace, was very understanding and told me to come and she would help me. (She is amazing!) As an Ambassador Elite member, we received a very wonderful room upgrade and welcoming gift. The property is very clean and was a MAJOR upgrade from the Marriott we just fled from. All the valet staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And the night shuttle is super awesome to have. Thanks Guys!! Our room was a one bedroom suite. Very spacious and clean. Perfect for spending a couple days. The gym is perfect for a quick workout. This place is very dog friendly, and have plenty of areas for the dogs to do what they need to do. This property will not disappoint and is an excellent choice.

Rooms smell musty, and the bathtub was stained in yellow spots everywhere, which became more disturbing the more we look. The place feels like it needs an update and a good cleaning. Location is close to downtown and nice little walk after getting food there. Valets are very nice but service is mandatory.

Check in was a breeze. Lobby was beautiful. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite was amazing. Everything was clean. Our views were wonderful—overlooking the Napa river. We even saw 2 sea lions in that river (apparently in search of salmon). The bedrooms had comfy beds and were very roomy as were the bathrooms. A full kitchen including a full size fridge came in handy. The dining room seated 6. The living room was a nice size as well. This suite had lots of room to spread out.|The entire property including the bar and pool/hot tub area was clean.|The location of this property was fantastic—literally steps from oxbow market which is an awesome place. It’s within easy walking distance to many tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping in downtown Napa. If and when I ever return to Napa, I will definitely stay at the Westin again.

Upon Valet asks me to move my own car. First morning I wake up to a large gas pressure washer blaring discreetly outside my window for over an hour. They move me to another room that smells like a sweaty gym and curry restaurant. Third room is a charm. Restaurant in the hotel will not sell me food to go, must eat in the restaurant. Coffee bar is out of coffee and cups, wait 20 min for coffee. After all of that , zero apologies… zero acknowledgement from management. Paid $1100 to ruin my weekend rest and practice my packing skills.

It was a nice stay in a convenient location next to the Oxbow Market. The coffee maker in the room was nice. However, the rooms and the hotel need renovation. Everything was fairly tired. The dog-friendly policy was a true bummer. We had a dog in the room right down the hall from us that barked incessantly. Dogs were allowed throughout the hotel lobby and in the elevators. I hope the hotel will rethink this policy. It is a true turnoff.

Amazing hotel with super friendly staff. The housekeeper whoever cleaned room 1094 on 1/23/25, did a fantastic job. The concierge Royceann was so helpful and thoughtful. The river walk was so fun. Great getaway vibes.

Google
Very pleasant hotel, staff were all very friendly and nice. Grounds are lovely and pool is wonderful! Would have given a five star review, but I’m very disappointed in the maid service. I left a good tip after staying in my room for two days. Wish I could get that back, because a swimming suit I hung on the back of the door and inadvertently left behind was apparently tossed out like trash when it would have been simple to take to lost and found. I *may* return to stay at this hotel - have stayed there other times when visiting the area - but if I do, I will not be tipping the maids. This disrespectful behavior is an embarrassment for this hotel and a disservice to the other hardworking staff.

Yelp
We didn't select this hotel at first based on photos we saw online and initially booked the Marriott down the street. We made the switch immediately to the Westin for personal reasons and Grace was amazing at helping us secure a reservation, fast and easy, thank you. Great hospitality and facilities are well kept. Valet is quick and helpful. On weekends, they offer complimentary wine tasting and sample massages. As Bonvoy Ambassadors, we received a nice bottle if wine and chocolates at check in. We stayed in a spacious and comfortable 1 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor, it was huge and made us feel at home.

Yelp
I really want to live this hotel. I don't love it. But I don't hate it. Let's start with coffee. When you charge ~$500 a night for a hotel, you have coffee in the mornings. And I don't mean two empty carafes taunting each visitor, forcing them to one by one flag to the front desk that more coffee is once again needed. I mean actual hot coffee. Both days I was here getting a simple cup was like pulling teeth. I don't get it. If you ever wanna really piss people off, do this. I could talk about the coffee difficulties longer but I won't. Shoot me an email. We can talk more on a zoom. The rooms are fine. Slightly too-soft beds that are a bit worn. There are little niceties missing that you would expect at a Marriott or Westin: The TV is small, running horribly outdated software and the remote is one of those you have to use two thumbs to smash the buttons and then it works half the time. All the USB ports are the old type. The shampoo, conditioner etc are basic and bolted onto the wall (and in our case, empty). Anyway, I stayed here with points and expected a heck of a lot more for the price. Next time I'll stay in a much more affordable hotel.

Yelp
Great dog friendly lodging in Napa! They overcharged us for the pet fee, but we contacted them once we got home and they were able to correct the charge! There were dogs that were not leashed that tried to attack another dog, they should require leashing for dogs at all times on the premises for everyone's safety. The location was great with downtown, wineries, and high rated food nearby! Short drive to the Oxbow market and Model bakery which were on my places to visit! The front desk staff were nice and professional. Small breakfast buffet, mid-tier but had all the basics. They had a pool and firepits, but I did not check it out. Rooms were clean and made it easy to wash my dog after a day out that had lots of dirt roads.

Yelp
A great place to stay when visiting the Napa area. Very convenient location and a super helpful staff. A great pool and bocce ball courts as well. Just a short walk to Oxbow Market and local eateries.

Molly R.

Yelp
This hotel is fabulous. Great location! 5 minute walk to Oxbow market and a bit longer to walk downtown. The staff is amazing. Offered us late checkout without having to ask and also upgraded our room. Bar staff was super attentive and welcoming. Free shuttle service downtown. Room was large and very comfortable. Kitchen area with anything you could need. Bed was comfortable. Large deep tub with a waterfall shower head. We will be back again!

Yelp
The Westin Verasa Napa is a 15-year-old luxury property of Marriott, set in a prime location for meals, shopping and wine tours. I realize visiting Napa on a weekend can be expensive, but we arrived during harvest week. The Westin was charging nearly $900 for a room, which is unreal to me. Fortunately, I had 180K points in my Bonvoy account so I got in without the cash outlay. We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and service-oriented. Valet parking is included in the resort fee and they'll even re-charge your electric vehicle while you stay. The hotel's main lobby and entrance is accented with large wooden beams. It kinda reminds me of a ski chalet. However, the guest rooms need a refresh. Not sure why they include a mini-kitchen, The furniture and wall decor look dated. And to still have bathtubs is hard to believe. The room was spotless when we arrived and the Heavenly Bed was heavenly. However, I wish they had better pillows. Given the difficulty we had in finding lodging for this weekend, I'm pleased that we stayed at the Westin. But for future stays, I'm going to look at other Bonvoy properties. One closing thought. I appreciated them having free coffee in the lobby before the restaurant opens. But can you make it correctly? It was watery every day. And when we ordered a latte in the restaurant, it was weak and lacked kick.

Jeff C.

Yelp
I stayed here while attending a work conference. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Clean rooms, quiet in the hotel, and a good location... all great things for me! Parking is valet only here unless you park in the street. My room had nice amenities- almost like a studio in that it had a sink, stove/hotplate, microwave, fridge, etc, as well as a desk to work on and a couch. The bed was nice and comfy too! It has a good location, across the street from the Wine Train parking lot, trails to walk/jog on right outside the door, and the Oxbow Public Market about a 5 minute walk away. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown but it's a nice walk as you get to see the water as you walk through the Commons.

Yelp
Booked a one night stay for the family...another Marriot partner with its perks! Early check-in and upgraded room upon check in. We stayed In a King Deluxe room. I only gave 4 stars as there was some cleanliness issues with the sheets, we called the front desk to ask for sheets to be changed. After 15 minutes of no response as the person we spoke to said someone was on the way we called again, let them know we were leaving the room for a few hours and to please have housekeeping change the sheets upon our return. We were told no problem. 3 hours later we came back to a room untouched and the sheets still dirty. Called again and this time we got a female who said according to her notes our room was attended too. We assured her no one had come and she politely addressed that there must've been a mistake in the room request. She immediate had someone come to our room to change the sheet and offered some complimentary vouchers to the cafe. I thought that was very nice and felt attended to at that point. Other than the sheets the room was well maintained and clean. I loved the high ceilings made the room appear even bigger. The deluxe king room comes with a kitchenette and all the cooking utensils you would need. We were directly above the parking garage and for the first few hours thought it was the elevator we would hear every so often. It was actually the gate to the parking garage going up and down. That was annoying but we did not make a complaint as we were still able to sleep fine. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to Oxbowl Market and maybe ten mins to downtown. There is also a complimentary shuttle for those who don't want to walk. The hot tub is huge and HoT! On a cold Winter night this was perfect and the kids loved it. The fitness room has everything you need, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and glad the Westin honors Marriot Bonvoy...keep the points comin!

Yelp
I like the hotel because it's clean and an easy 5 minute walk to Oxbow. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They only have valet and street parking. Beware that if you park along the sidewalk under the trees, you will get sap on your car. I chose not to valet because I needed my car due for work stuff and wanted to be in and out. I enjoyed having a big room and it was so cool having a full kitchen even though I didn't need it. The room was dated, but it was still nice. I highly recommend the Westin for location and convenience.

Yelp
Great location, walking distance to riverfront, restaurants and across from wine train. Loved that we were able to walk everywhere. This hotel also had the best staff, super friendly. Service was top notch. Always opened doors for us, made sure we were taken care of. The bar with really good drinks, didn't have the chance to try their food tho. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. Nice and roomy room but the AC wasn't working too well. Also needed pillows and blankets for the sofa bed. But overall, it was a great stay, very memorable.

Nicole P.

Yelp
Nice, modern hotel located in the heart of downtown Napa. The location is perfect because it's in walking distance of the Wine Train, Oxbow Public Market, and other nearby shops. Staff is friendly and helpful and the amenities are great.

Yelp
I can't say I'm a HUGE fan of this hotel, but what keeps my husband and I coming back is the overall package. Pros: Wonderful location. It's located in Downtown Napa, therefore walking distance to Oxbow Market, and several of the restaurants in the area. Also it being in Downtown Napa, this is pretty central to the wine region in general, which is a quick drive to Yountville, St. Helena, etc. My husband is a Marriott guy, so this is probably the best and somewhat decently priced option in Napa. There are more inexpensive options, but they are way farther away, and honestly it takes away from the Napa experience. If you're from far away, even if just staying in Napa for the weekend, it is worth the money to stay in this central area to really enjoy wine country. As much as I hate the Napa Wine Train, what I will say is that this hotel is literally located across the street from the launching point. So if you somehow got tourist trapped into this experience, this is a good hotel to be stationed at. Hopefully you're also a Marriott Bonvoy member, because the welcome gift here is a free breakfast, which is a voucher good for a $20 entree at their downstairs restaurant (confusingly not part of the Marriott group). This restaurant surprisingly has a great breakfast sandwich item with English muffin from Model Bakery!!! What a find!!! (usually hotel restaurants are no big deal). Speaking of restaurants, La Toque is located within the hotel, which was a 1 star Michelin restaurant for many years (only recently lost the star within the past year or so). My husband and I dined at La Toque maybe 1.5 years ago, and really enjoyed it!! The other pro is that each time we've stayed here, we always get upgraded to the 1 Bedroom Suite with view of the swimming pool. The room has a kitchenette, dining room table, and balcony, not that we ever need the space. The lighting always seems to be weird in these rooms though, I'm guessing because the roof hanging over the balcony hides the lighting, making it quite dark. The rooms here are a little dated too, and build-grade quality - nothing special like a St. Regis or Ritz Carlton, but decent for a weekend trip here. The common areas are nice though, with a nice looking swimming pool, and fire pit area, which I can imagine is really pleasing at night especially during the warm summer months. Also, parking is a huge plus. Do yourself a favor, save the $25 and park in the street, which is steps outside the hotel parking lot. It's safe in Napa, and you aren't saving any distance really. Cons: The price can be pretty steep - it's no easy cost to consume. The rooms are a little dated, and really nothing special, so therefore it makes it hard to justify the cost for the room itself. Overall, I think the package of this hotel is good. The location, being able to get an upgrade, free breakfast voucher, free parking (across the street), nice common areas, are a wonderful plus. Just rooms and price overall a little high, but unfortunately this hotel knows its self worth.

Yelp
Great place to stay in downtown Napa, the location is walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Unlike other reviews I did not feel as if the hotel is in need of renovations, I felt that the rooms were pretty clean and nothing was worn out. I really liked how deep the bathtub is, it was deeper than most other bathtubs in other hotels I have stayed at. The room itself is really big and more than enough room for 2 people. The kitchen utensils were clean and the microwave was so useful! Some street parking outside, otherwise you will have to valet your car. The people working here were really friendly and always helped to open the door when I was leaving or coming which I really appreciated.

Yelp
Did a quick overnight trip with couple girlfriends and stayed over one night on a weekend. The good: * Location can't be beat. So close to Oxbow Market, downtown Napa and easy to get in and out to go to other places like wineries and restaurants. * The staff from valet (comes with the resort costs), check-in staff, services desk to the restaurant staff, they were all extremely friendly and nice. * I booked the premium 1 bedroom and I was pleasantly surprised it came with 2 bathrooms which was nice and convenient. * Clean. I felt like everything from the outside, lobby to the room, it was pretty clean. I didn't have any issues with my room. * The breakfast sandwich at the restaurant downstairs was pretty darn good and again, staff from the host desk to the servers were extremly nice. Not as good: * For the reasons mentioned above, this place is awesome. However, I do have to admit, this place is kinda expensive. The rooms were expensive and my breakfast sandwich was $20. Would I stay here again? Probably. Do I wish the it cost a little less? Yes, I do.

Jami G.

Yelp
My stay here was amazing! The decor is bit outdated but the property itself is beautiful. I came for the weekend. It's conveniently located close to downtown and the Oxbow market. Upon arrival Maribel checked us in. I originally had planned to stay at the Marriott Napa. But due to some previous horrible experiences I opted for the Westin. My experience with Maribel was great! She is super amiable. She took the time to really see how my day was going etc! She even upgraded me to a suite! With Covid and the big exodus of workers, it was so nice to have experience good customer service. Based on my stay and the how amiable the staff is , Westin Napa will be my choice of stay whenever I'm in town.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Love this hotel. The balcony overlooking the river is so cool and the bar and pool area are top notch We got the two bedrooms suite. I highly recommend that. Very cool place to stay and within walking distance of down town

Michelle M.

Yelp
WOW! Beautiful! Welcomed in at the front desk with great friendly service and the lobby is beautiful. Checking in No Valet at this time due to COVID19, Self Parking in Hotel Garage no fee. Room was clean and spacious not feeling cramped and a full kitchenette , complimentary bottle of water , balcony and rainfall shower with a nice spa robe to wear. Quiet at night for a restful sleep. In the Morning they do have coffee and tea set up in the lobby. Nice outdoor sitting area near the pool and fitness center. The area walking distance to nearby cafe's , bakeries , dinning and Wine Train. Take a walk outside to a nearby park between Hotel and Oxbow Marketplace. Hotel Dinning La Toque Restaurant and Bank Cafe & Bar. Enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return soon.

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful spring break stay at the Westin Verasa Napa hotel from Monday to Wednesday in April. We arrived earlier and they said they had plenty of rooms available, so we were able to check in early. The hotel didn't seem crowded at all. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a lovely view of the courtyard with the pool and hot tub. You could see Oxbow from the balcony, which was super spacious and kid friendly. The room was clean and well-kept -- we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. One of the standout features of the hotel was the friendly and accommodating staff. The gals at the front desk and guys at the front door were super friendly all day. They would open the doors for us whenever we got near, which was a huge help since we always had a stroller and full hands. The valet parking is free, which was another nice touch. The pool was well-kept (I could see the guy diligently cleaning it every morning) and perfect for when it was hot outside. We appreciated the shade in the afternoon. On the morning of our last day, we were pleasantly surprised to see hot air balloons outside our window, which made for a truly memorable experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Westin Verasa Napa hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hotel's location is convenient (great for walking, we basically stayed near the hotel and in downtown Napa the entire trip). We give it 5 stars and would definitely come back for another visit!

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Location-perfect. An easy walk downtown. On the river and beautiful. You can walk the paths behind the hotel. Amenities-awesome workout room with California doors overlooking the pool. Free coffee in the am and free bottled water. Reason for 3 stars- I travel and stay at Marriott properties solely. I have status. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite checking out on a Sunday off season and was not allowed a late checkout. It makes me feel like what's the point to being loyal to a brand? End rant. Overall I liked the property and location. I would think about going back but it would be nice to be appreciated as a loyal and valued customer.

Lupita P.

Yelp
Walk across the street to the wine train! Walking distance to the downtown riverfront.

Joy R.

Yelp
When you enter, you know you're in for an experience. The wine bottle backdrop of the front desk screams Napa! My friend and I checked in super late from our flight from Charlotte to San Francisco. When we entered, the front desk staff smiled and said that we were the last guests to check in for the day. She treated us as if we were the first, despite it being nearly midnight. My suite was overwhelming. Floor-to-ceiling windows were the backdrop to a very spacious king suite with a full kitchen, living area and dining table with seating for six. Two full bathrooms! Fixtures were modern and the space was clean. I did see a cashew on the floor but that was minor given the space was so amazing. I absolutely loved the patio off of the dining room. I was able to see so many beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the quaint courtyard off of my patio. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and friendly. We opted to do the breakfast vouchers which allowed for $14 meal credits daily. The weekday breakfast menu was limited but the option I kept choosing (salmon on a bagel with cream cheese and capers) was good. We are here through the weekend and have been informed that the weekend brunch options are more diverse. This location is literally steps away from the Wine Train lot, if that's an attraction you're seeing and the Oxbow Market, which I will review after our visit today. Excellent place to stay while in Napa!

Kristina R.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel/resort. Our balcony overlooked the Napa River. We loved the amenities during our stay.

Juliet H.

Yelp
The Westin Verasa - Napa is a new favorite that the hubs and I cannot wait to revisit. Marisol, at the front desk, was kind and helpful. The location and proximity to all the funnings in downtown Napa is unbeatable. The king suite is spacious and comfy, the food and service at Bank Cafe (their on-site restaurant) is absolutely delicious, and the pool area is clean and relaxing. This property was ever-so charming, and I'm a huge fan!

Sharon B.

Yelp
The hotel is in dire need of renovations. The worn out carpets and the worn out beds as well as the hallway carpets and the lack of cleaning the rooms is hurting this business.

Ken F.

Yelp
This is a solid meh. It's a shame the Westin Napa is basically an upscale Embassy suites. Back in the day, the Westin brand meant and upscale experience. But it seems that Marriott has differentiated the Westin and other similar brands to its second tier under the Ritz and the St Regis. $650 a night stay and it just feels like a business executive working suite. Absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. Everybody was friendly and courteous. It's just literally no bang for the buck here. I guess it's Napa and all that Napa has to offer and it's a Allure and location. Honestly, it comes down to being just a comfortable room with a nice restaurant attached to it

Renay S.

Yelp
Excellent stay at the Westin Verasa Napa. Large rooms and the best service by very friendly staff. Large hot tub and everything is wonderful there.

Alexander Y.

Yelp
After making our decision to vacation in Napa for a week, we had to figure out which Marriott hotel to stay at. Ended up choosing the Westin Verasa Napa over the Napa Valley Marriott. Definitely made the right choice! Was able to be upgraded to a suite even before I came here due to my Titanium status. Bottom line, the room is amazing. Nice, modern design with a cozy couch and bed. Definitely found myself lounging on the couch or bed watching TV plenty of times. The kitchen area was useful as there were plates and bowls, although we didn't use the dishwasher. Bathroom was huge with a lot of space, with a bath and separate shower with Westin's trademark Heavenly Shower System. Balcony was useful as the weather was very warm the entire week we were here. Overall, extremely spacious and comfortable room overall. Staff here were solid. Didn't have much interaction with them, but they did grant my usual 4 pm late checkout (due to Titanium status) and was able to give me items at the front desk when requested. They did send an e-mail before arrival about what the ground rules were with COVID-19 and repeated the important stuff on check-in (like the pool rules). As for the pool, it never got busy enough where I had to worry about reaching capacity. There was a person there that had us sign a contract tracing form, but aside from that the pool was fine. Pool itself was kinda cold, hot tub was nice especially with the spa jets! Parking situation is great, especially for a top-tier hotel. No valet parking due to COVID-19, but there is free self parking in a parking garage under the hotel. Plus the elevator takes you straight to the hotel rooms since it shares the same elevator chute, which is nice. Location is also great. It's located right next to Oxbow Public Market, which we walked to several times to get meals at Gott's Roadside and Hog Island Oyster Co. It was also a quick 15 minute drive to Yountville, where our fine dining destinations were located. Overall, what a great hotel for our Napa vacation. The hotel was everything we wanted and more. Definitely staying here the next time we come back!

Yelp
We booked the Westin over the Andaz in downtown Napa mainly because they had a pool, which our kids loved. I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. We booked a 1 bedroom premium suite, and they gave us a room overlooking the pool. It was great and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Even the sofa bed was comfy - usually I can feel the springs in a sofa bed but not here. The one bedroom suite also comes with a kitchen with a regular sized fridge and comes stocked with utensils, plates, and mugs. It's great for families with kids. The pool closes late like at 11pm and the gym is open 24 hours. They have hot, fresh coffee in the lobby every morning too. The Westin is also centrally located - a 5 minute walk to Oxbow Market and a 10 minute walk to downtown Napa, making it such an ideal location. The staff were also really nice, hospital, and accommodating. No complaints and would happily stay here again the next time we're in Napa.

Mikaela R.

Yelp
I had an extremely disappointing experience here yesterday. I checked out right before 11a and realized I had accidentally left my purse in the room after I had already drove 25 mins out of town. I called at 11:22 and expressed my concern for leaving my purse in the room and the girl on the phone stated "I will have the housekeeping manager check and I will give you a call back." In the 25+ mins it took me to drive back, I never received a call back. It shouldn't have taken that long to go into the room and check, so clearly the employees had no urgency about it. My husband spoke with the front desk employee who, still, had absolutely no urgency and left him standing there for another 25 minutes and having had several conversations before finally bringing my bag down. Clearly the loss of my valuable item was not a priority and staff was no where near accommodating about it being that it took over an hour for them to find it and return it. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable service, I will not be a returning visitor here nor will I recommend this hotel to my friends and family based on the poor customer service I experienced.

Pamela M.

Yelp
I read a lot of reviews before I could commit to the room rate on a particularly busy weekend in Napa (PGA Tour nearby & Concert at Oxbow) and I'm a bit puzzled by the reviewers who say this place is dated and tired. It's gorgeous- rooms are very well appointed. The staff was wonderful. The outdoor areas are dreamy- pool, hot tub, lounge chairs with shade options, evening fire "pits" with comfy seating and pillows. I stayed 2 nights and it was worth every penny. I had a room with a little patio over looking the pool so could enjoy the hills/trees as well. I did not actually cook in the kitchen and just used the coffee maker and fridge- but it was handy to have plates & utensils. There were pots & pans available. I could walk to downtown and the Oxbow Market easily. Cannot recommend this place enough. I had no idea there was this much heaven in downtown Napa- I have usually stayed in more remote areas- walking to all the action in the neighborhood was so nice. And extra bonus that sounds silly- but they had both valet and self parking options- I liked the convenience of being able to go to my car in the ample garage on my own. Nice job Westin- please keep up the good work.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this resort! Very clean during CV19. Endless supply of face masks, hand sanitizer all over the place, and careful restrictions in the pool, lobby, etc. Now on to the resort itself! The service was fantastic. The room was incredible, with 20 foot ceilings and a porch that overlooks the courtyard by the pool. The room had a nice kitchenette, bedroom, living room with sofabed, and two bathrooms. Very convenient location to access the lower floor garage. They provided unlimited bottles of Aquafina water. The pool was restricted to 30 people and monitored closely. The pool water was salty and not so much chlorinated. The hot tub was huge! Could easily fit 15, though only a few were in at a time. Location is perfect! Less than 10min walk to downtown just across the Napa river. And if you only feel like walking 5min, there are several restaurants and bakeries right there. Activities include a bocce ball court where you borrow balls from the front desk. I mentioned the pool and hot tub already. And on the backside of the resort, a nice trail with a bike rental machine. The Vine Trail is only a couple blocks away. The Wine Train station is literally right across the street if that's what you're into. A short drive away to the Napa Outdoor Outlets. I actually am excited to visit again in the future!

Yelp
I would say 4.5 stars, but not been given that option, so will go with 4, bc they are not quite a 5. As other posters have stated, this hotel needs a serious facelift on the inside; carpet, furniture, etc. is outdated and showing wear. The bar downstairs had amazing staff, and really good food, especially a prickly pear daiquiri....hello deliciousness!!! We enjoyed our stay, and would choose to stay here again if we decided to come back to Napa. We had a great view of the Oxbow River stage venue, which was a huge plus!!!

Yelp
Clean rooms, friendly staff and valet. This hotel is in the best location. The markets are close by to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. All are a walkable distance. There is also a nice pathway behind the hotel for a walk/run as you look at the Napa river. There is also a pathway all the way to the riverwalk area. Various wineries are located 15-30 minutes by car. The hotel gym is nice equipped with peloton bikes. The Napa Valley Wine train is right across the hotel entrance. No need to drive! Easy for kids.

Yelp
This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff is excellent the accommodations are super. If you have a choice you would not be disappointed in this venue. Drew Bickel

Yelp
Perfect location to everywhere. Walk to Oxbow Market, Model Bakery, downtown Napa and local wineries. Love that the pool is heated year round and large sauna. Outdoor fire pits. Near walking trails and rent a bikes. Parking underneath in garage. Right by Napa Wine train. Stayed in premier king suite with full kitchen. Perfect for cooking Thanksgiving meal. Two bathrooms and a porch with lounge chairs. And the hotel is dog friendly! We'll be back!

Yelp
Such a nice resort to stay at. As we drove up to the resort, there was a very nice, lush and green area to do morning walks at. The view is absolutely gorgeous. It is at the end of a court area which makes it extra nice because it is extra quiet. At check-in, the lady informed us that there was free valet in the garage if we wanted, but there is free street parking as well. I prefer the self street parking as I think it is faster to get in and out as needed. I was also informed that there was complimentary wine tasting for 2/3 hours for the guests in the resort around dinner time. I can't quiet remember the times. There is also a pool that closes at 11pm and a gym as a part of the amenities. We had the suite with one bed. The suite had a kitchen including a two stove thermal burner, microwave, tea pot, knives, and all the kitchen utensils needed to cook something. There was a single serve cup coffee maker with Pikes Starbucks coffee as well some tea. A fridge was included which was nice to keep our personal waters cold. There is a pull out sofa bed for extra guests. A balcony was included In our suite. Unfortunately our view was of the pebbled roof top of the first floor as we stayed on the second floor. There was a restaurant in this resort that we did not try, but they advertised very well throughout the two elevators. The resort is within a five minute walking distance to the OXBOW market and Grotts burgers! It was so wonderful. There is also a little bakery coffee shop before all of that. It is the perfect resort to stay at for a romantic wine tasting weekend with the loved one, family and or friends. The entire time we were there the valet attendants were very polite and opened car doors and entrance doors for us making us feel very welcomed. The concierge guest services representatives were nice. The only time I didn't feel welcomed was when we were checking out, there was a man standing at the door greeting guests. He stared at my friend and I the entire time without saying a word. I acknowledged his presence by saying good morning as well as thank you when we left, but all he did was stare with no facial expression as if we didn't belong there. We got that a lot this weekend due to our group being younger at higher end places, but we had the money to pay for what we were doing so please don't judge.

Yelp
This was our first overnight stay at napa and we used Marriott Bonvoy points for a night at westin. The staff was great, and the location was so convenient too- walking distance to oxbow market, the wine train, and downtown napa which is across the river and with all sorts of shops and restaurant. There is gated garage parking for guests. The suite we got was a bit dated but huge and comfy. The hotel offers bottled water for free (in room and you can get more from the concierge), as well as coffee in the morning at the lobby. We wanted to try the heated pool and hot tub but then decided the weather was too cold (around Christmas)...! We got breakfast at the first floor restaurant ("BANK") and we enjoyed the food! Overall a very decent experience for our stay!

Yelp
If Fang is welcomed five stars are automatically earned. Plus Sunny and Hazel tagged along. The bed is firm, but comfortable. The staff, friendly and helpful. We have had a pleasant one night stay here. Looking forward to walking through the town this morning.

Yelp
Great experience for our mini moon! Spent one night with an infant and hotel was great and accommodating. We requested and got a crib in the room. Masks were required for COVID and no daily cleaning but you can request towels to be brought to your room. No room service but you can order and pick up from the restaurant downstairs. Room was nice and spacious though some of the furniture (sofa) was a bit worse for wear. Nice huge bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. Kitchen area was well stocked and it was nice having a fridge in the room. Complimentary bottled water and though they closed the ice machines, they would deliver ice buckets to the room. The food from BANK cafe which we ate in our room was okay-the pork belly tacos were perfect but the steak was fatty and not the best quality (the sides for the steak were excellent though). Dessert was chocolate mousse and vanilla ice cream. Except for the steak, we enjoyed everything and picking up the food from downstairs ended up being totally fine. Location is perfect and super close to downtown Napa and Oxbow market along the river walk. We were able to walk everywhere and parking was free (no valet during COVID). We didn't get to enjoy the pool area but it looked really nice and they have a hot tub. Fitness center was closed but they offered free workouts on the TV. All in all an great experience despite the pandemic. It's a bit pricey and didn't have many extras like guest happy hour or breakfast but location can't be beat!

Yelp
This place is delusional. $700-$1000 a night. No breakfast during the week. Just a bowl of pastries and over roasted thermos coffee. And on the weekend? Oh they serve breakfast starting at 8:30. Ridiculously late! And all you can order are 5 weird meals (chicken sliders???)...No toast. No juice.....just stupid. Think well hey I'll watch the game in the bar tonight. Nope. 'We took the TV out because people were too rowdy'...WTH? It's just a sad dead space now. And? No cold water for out last shower. Don't stay here.

Yelp
We typically stay at the Napa River Inn because they are dog friendly but booked Westin because the other was sold out. Glad we got to experience it and will put this on my list of upscale dog friendly hotels to stay at. I loved the ambiance as we pulled into the round about drop off area. The entrance was beautiful and upscale yet not pretentious. The front desk was fast and friendly. The room itself was standard; we were only there for a night for a wedding. They had a dog bed and bowl as well. Room 2025 overlooked the pool. We were going to call an uber to our dinner but a Westin driver pulled up and offered to drive us for free, which is a nice added perk. Omar was our driver and so nice. Apparently we were supposed to call him back to pick us up but didn't know how to reach him so we took an uber back. It's conveniently located directly across from the wine train and has a lovely walkway along the River. I do like this location though Napa River in is more centralized to all the hot spots you can walk to.

Yelp
I am one of those grumpy old travelers who have very particular needs. One of mine is a diet Coke or diet Pepsi in the morning. But on the first morning when I went down to the lobby, no diet Pepsi, AHHHHH! Their manager Dave was running around chatting with everyone, so I asked if I could find a diet Pepsi somewhere. He took my request seriously and ran thru the entire building. Five minutes later, he came back with a small bottle of diet Pepsi; that saved my day. Since then, they restocked the fridge with diet Pepsi. But every time I see the manager Blair or David, they hand me a bottle of diet Pepsi (or two). That makes me feel special, very cool! For that, we have to make Westin my residence when we visit Napa in the future.

Yelp
5 star hotel! Free valet and confortable bed. Nice gym with rower and good sized pool and jacuzzi. Everyone was pleasant especially the valet who were fast and cheerful. We were upgraded so surprised and happy with the kitchen and mini fridge. Restful sleep and relaxing rain shower. Perfect location close to downtown and easy to get to vineyards. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This hotel is old and needs a renovation. If you can stay somewhere else, please do. The beat thing about it is the outdoor patio area with the fire pits. Staff is friendly. Stayed here I've Bottlerock weekend. Hotel is far too expensive for the product. Room was ok with balcony but again, need a renovation. The hotel restaurant is the worst. Breakfast started at 8am with minimal options. Restaurant was short staffed and I had long waits each day. Bar was ok but nothing special. F&B needs an overhaul also. With a renovation, I'm sure this can be a lovely property. Until then, I'll stay elsewhere.

Yelp
Concierge was not available after 5 PM on a Friday. Room service was not available after 9 PM on any night. Valet parking was required. Disappointing for a major brand like Westin. Would not stay here again.

Yelp
Westin is doing a great job trying to make guests feel safe. Masks required. They made adjustments like no valet parking, but u can self park in the garage which is steps away. Hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere. Mobile check in with mobile key ( make sure u turn on bluetooth in the app). Free mask if u need one. Outdoor dining only. Swimming pool sign-in to use for 2 hr limit. Chairs spaced out. They were a lot of kids and there is no lifeguard. Pool is only 4 feet deep. Hot tub is hot but jets are very light. Room had a kitchenette with microwave. Small bathroom. Dated couch. Bed was firm. Small flat screen tv ( but maybe seemed small due to the large room). Overall great stay. Walked to nearby restaurants and Model Bakery and loved the scenery of the River. Tried to give local businesses support. Staff were friendly and I appreciate all they do for guests during this tough time.

Yelp
Jeremy at the bar was so kind and went out of his way to make myself and my husband feel welcomed and comfortable. His kindness was a welcomed surprise while visiting!

Yelp
Great service! Pricey, yes! Napa in general is pricey. The staff are great. We stayed here last year for our anniversary and we made reservations for our upcoming anniversary again. Can't wait! Rooms are clean and spacious. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. Great location! We walked to everything.

Yelp
The check in process was a nightmare, on my Elite app they asked what time we would like to check in, I put down 1:00 pm. We showed up at 1:50 and there was no room. The lady Tayesha at the desk said room keeping is cleaning your room and it would be 30 minutes. At 2:45 I went back thinking it was enough time and was told she does not control housekeeping and check in wasn't until 4:00 pm and if I didn't like it she would just cancel my reservation. What has happened to the Westin, where is the customer service. Why the rudeness! Why ask what time you are going to check in.
