Lovely welcome from friendly owner. We have to visit to get our fresh cockles when visiting the seaside and was not dissaponted. Beautifully fresh with loads of fishy choices. Free condiments available to enhance your purchase. Cash or card payment. Located near the harbour.

Wonderful fresh fish, I bought scallops, hake, John dory, monkfish and a pot of mixed crab meat. There was not any white meat available in a pot. So far we have eaten the hake which was thick and absolutely delicious,as were the extra large scallops, sweet and juicy. I was therefore extremely disappointed when I scooped out a spoonful of crab meat only to find shell and membrane. I know the shop received the pots in from another source and I hope the owner will pass on my comments to those concerned. At £11 for a pot, I don't expect to have to sift through the crab meat before eating it. Not good enough I'm afraid. The guys in the shop are brilliant, they filleted my fish with skill I've only witnessed in Japan and the advice for cooking was very useful.

A great place to get fresh seafood. My husband and I have tried their shrimp, scallops, and squid so far during our visit to Lyme Regis, and they’ve been superb every time. We’ve also enjoyed picking up their little pot of cockles as our afternoon snack! YUM. 👌🏼

Helpful and knowledgable staff, great selection of fresh fish. I bought mackerel, plus grey mullet and scallops on staff recommendation for a campsite bbq - all went down beautifully with my camping party. They were able to set my order aside for me to collect later in the day after time on the beach. Also tried some of the pots of mixed seafood, and crab - again both tasted fresh and delicious.

Fresh fish at great prices, witnessed and received great customer service from 2 gents despite a large queue. Was more than happy to wait and cool down in the shop during heatwave!

Couldn’t believe the prices, I drove from London. Happily pay for good food. Couldn’t believe the pot (small) of crab prices (£4). I get dress crabs for £6 delivered to my door from Grimsby docks. I never question the price but this time I did. Never question my fishmonger again

When you enter the shop and the guy who’s busying away ignores you for 5 whole minutes, not a nod, a smile, not anything. Good bye.
