Walking along the Marina with family looking for a late lunch spot was greeted with a warm welcome from Front of house. So glad we chose this restaurant. Beautiful view, lovely ambience. Friendly and attentive staff. Food delicious. Highly recommended.

Just had the most delicious, mouth pleasing meal at The Wharf. First, Kirkpatrick oysters - yum ! Rich and plump. Mains - seared yellow fin tuna with buerre blanc and veg....omg this was perfection 👌 the tuna was cooked very respectfully and was beautiful in the mouth. Very very yummy. And beautifully plated. Our servers, Lisa and Zoe were very warm, friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for a better evening .

Went there for our anniversary with our baby. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. They gave us a free sweet treat when they found out it was our anniversary. Will definitely return to enjoy the food again.

Superb food, service and atmosphere. The seared tuna was perfect. The 42 hour slow cooked beef was melt in your mouth amazing. Exceptionally friendly attentive staff. They even thoughtfully asked if we’d like the chef to slice food into smaller pieces given they noticed I had an injured arm. Thanks for a great evening.

It was amazing, the food was expectational. The service was great, the timing between courses was perfect, we were able to sit and relax we didn't feel like me had to eat and run. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointing. It started brilliantly with a table next to the windows watching the sun set over the ocean. It’s a spectacular view. However once we had finished with the bread entree, things turned downhill. We chose the 4 course feed me menu. Low quality seafood, and weird complicated, and confusing ingredient combinations. The scallops came with peas and what I think was a bernaise sauce. Then it also had cauliflower, with a bbq curry seasoning on it. Why is all of this together on one plate? So strange. Then next was whiting fillets (very small ones) swimming in coconut milk, with roasted beetroot, and some sort of beetroot puree. Finally finishing with lamb that came with peas (again peas?) some weird purple mash and broad beans. I can’t explain what went wrong with the roast potatoes, but they tasted floury and under done. The lamb on its own was actually cooked well and tasted nice. Those 3 dishes overall were just a confused mess of ingredients. This restaurant is just not of a very high quality, and for that price point there are some much better places around South Australia serving fresh, local and seasonal dishes.

Yelp
This is one of those places that you know the food will be average but go because of the great views. The chicken schnitzel was ok but the seafood chowder was surprisingly good - big chunky prawns and salmon with a rich, creamy broth. Get that dish

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at The Wharf a month or so ago while I travelled to Adelaide to see the Soundwave Festival. We walked up and down looking at the various restaurants, and this one looked inviting. When we walked in we were greeted very warmly and seated promptly with menus. First we ordered the Tasting Plate (Pic Uploaded) which included: Arancini balls, chicken skewers, 1/2 shell scallops, Morton Bay bugs and a trio selection of dips with bread ($39.90) It was all delicious - in particular the Arancini balls - wow... memorable!!! After that we were both rather satisfied enough not to order a main each. We asked if we could order the Braised Caramel Pork Belly (Served on a bed of spiced apples and honey orange gaze - $19). We asked for additional cutlery so we could share the plate however they actually split the belly into two and served us on two separate plates. (Pic Included). It was delicious... :) All in all a great meal was had at The Wharf in Glenelg.

Yelp
Dinner here was nothing short of disappointing. We were a group of 8 and all ordered different dishes for mains. We ordered several garlic breads as starters which were quite delicious and I wish I had just ordered several serves of that for my main. Our mains were very disappointing, I had the special of beer battered John Dory, chips were very oily and well over cooked, nothing special at all for $24.90. Others had steak, special pasta, pork belly, all were equally disappointing. The dish that was somewhat tasty was the salmon. Service was great, no complaints on that side, however when our bill was almost $450, the food was extremely disappointing and none of us are keen to return. Definitely not value for money considering some mains were over $35.

Yelp
Excellent food and location. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service from Patrick. Bruschetta was a triumph.

Yelp
It was my first time here and was presently surprised!! I hadn't heard much about the wharf so didn't really know what to expect. We had a scoopon which gave us a glass of wine or beer, entree and main. We shared dips and olives for entree and I had the pork belly as my main. We had a choice of four options for our main. I was torn and the wait staff were very helpful in getting me to make a decision. The pork belly was amazing!!! We were all very happy with our meals and the service was spot on!!!

Yelp
Staff were very friendly, and we felt welcomed from the minute we sat down. Unfortunately the food did not match the service. Overcooked steaks and the salt and pepper squid was flavourless. Nice oysters and the seafood plate was good. Overall, this place is overpriced for the food we received. Very hard to return when there are so many options nearby.

Yelp
Nice menu. Friendly and efficient staff. Ordered a chicken satay starter and surprised at the size of the meal. Enjoyed eating here. Relaxed and food well prepared. Seemed popular with locals.

Yelp
Not bad restaurant on the Marina Pier at Glenelg. The ambience was nice and service was good also. I ordered the grilled chicken breast. It was hard to finish as was rather thick and felt a little tough also. The asparagus had a nice smoked flavor to them which I had not tasted before but enjoyed! The Wharf is a nice dining experience but I would not rush there to visit again.

Yelp
We were a large group on a Saturday lunch. But my parents were regulars and recognised as such. They still had to pay a deposit to hold the table. King George Whiting was $42 . Sammy's a premier restaurant next door is cheaper. My husband's steak came without a side. We ordered bottles of sparkling wine when we arrived, took close to half an hour to arrive at the table. The waitress took the orders in order around the table but the delivery was called out from one end to the other. Food great, service great, prices should have been Pub not silver service.
