The Wharf Hotel Wynyard

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Wharf Hotel, and I am delighted to share my positive experience. The food was equally impressive. The menu offers a great selection of dishes that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. Every plate was flavourful and satisfying, with generous portions and careful attention to detail. I would highly recommend the Wharf Hotel to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal and outstanding hospitality. I look forward to returning soon.

We haven’t been here in a while but since then the food has changed so much!! We were served by beautiful staff this evening and although having to wait a bit (Father’s Day understandable) our meals were perfect!! Thankyou so much your service, staff and food are exceptional 🫶🫶

All I can say is FABULOUS! We don’t eat anywhere else now! Thank you Christian and your friendly team for consistently amazing food and service. Head chef Marco - full marks to you too, for very high standards and being a great guy! It’s always a pleasure to see you all once a week at least, sometimes twice! What a lovely pub. Not overly flash looking but made up for it with excellent staff. Our order was slightly delayed through an issue with extraction fans in kitchen not working as expected. The staff spoke with us about problem as they had to open some windows and doors on a cold night. We had jackets so fine by us. Soon our meals arrived and I was blown away by the size and taste of my chicken schnitty with mignon topping absolutely delicious. Wife had seafood chowder and she demolished the bowl. 5 star meals. Bar service was also very quick. Very happy travellers.

I highly recommend this pub. The food is scrumptious, especially the steak and the food portions are very generous . The staff are super friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back for another yummy feed.

Rude! Except one young fella! Even bought me a really good coffee! The rest of the staff treat you like its a hassle to serve you! 2 bar staff both young and both too intrigued in there phones on the back bench or desk to notice 2 people waiting to be served! Definitely won't be going back! It used to be a good pub! Even some tall Dave guy, who is a regular treated me like crap and made me feel unwelcome in the bar!

I ordered takeaway Pizza and was enthusiastically told about a new Pizza that had only just been added. Hats off to the chefs. It was a hit with everyone, the box was empty before we knew it 👏🏻 👏🏻
