"Linden's Local Eatery, The Whippet, is a Winner! One early morning, with close to zero sleep and after a quick photo job in the area, I made my way to the Whippet in Linden as I'd heard it was awesome. On walking in, I was quite surprised as to how busy it was during the week. I found a spot at the back in the corner and ordered a cup of hot choc and something warm to eat. The hot choc arrived with a cute little piggy in the foam! That made my day :) The breakfast was pretty good, but I think I need to go back for a lunch to test out their food offering a bit better... and also when I'm more awake, But as it's stands the hot choc was really nice (just be careful of the really high coaster) and the breakfast was pretty decent. So if you're in the area and looking for something to fill your tummy, make your way to the Whippet. Here's a little tip: The guys at The Whippet manufacture their own furniture out of recycled wood for use in the store and then change it out every few months, so they sell the furniture at decent prices to make way for the new stuff. Keep an eye out and you could net yourself some well priced wooden furniture!"

Had a great experience at the whippet. Vibey atmosphere perfect for lunch, business meetings, working or just a coffee. Very friendly staff. Had a white hot choc and a beef burger. Tastiest burger I've had in a while. The hot chocolate was delicious too. Definitely worth the try.

Since we were in the area we decided to stick with old faithful - The Whippet Coffee. Haven't been since they revamped the establishment. Must say it's a lot more spacious now, and they have added quite a few new things on their menu. We had the Sriracha Chicken Melt, the Scallion pancake and the Breakfast burger. To drink I tried the Strawberry crackle shake. A Strawberry and vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream and a crunchy white chocolate crackle. Loved the milkshake. Dissapointed about the "crackle" was expecting some crunchy toppings on top as stated. Turns out it's the thin layer of chocolate used in the takeaway cup, so as you hold it, it cracks off inside, sadly its like these thin flakes that feel like plastic on your tongue. Milkshake yummy, crackle not yummy... the cafe latte was warm (what is it with coffee places making drinks lukewarm and no longer hot), and then a Tiramisu iced latte. My Sriracha Melt was divine! Huge, and divine, i had to take the other half home. I couldn't finish it, it was yummy and full of flavour. We behaved and didn't order the staple milktart, nor did we order other take home. Maybe next time... Thanks for the service Accute, see you next time ⏲️ #TheFoodMusketeer #TheFoodMusketeerEats #TheFoodMusketeerDrinks #TFMTheWhippet

It was my first time at The Whippet, for a Saturday morning brunch run. The lady at the door was so worried when we chose a table outside on the deck, she brought me a blanket! That was a nice touch! The waiter was friendly & very attentive, the food was number 1. Its always a pleasure to go to a place thats not only just aethetics, but has great food, thats reasonably priced. The mimosa was also good & we loved the "skinny fries." 😂 I would definitely recommend this place, & i would go again!

The food here is very tasty and definitely worth trying. The restaurant is usually busy, which shows how popular it is, but service is quick and efficient. The only downside is that the staff tend to rush you to leave once you’re done, which makes the experience feel a bit hurried.

Went for my birthday treat. My banana bread was dry and lacked banana. Moms food was good but won't go back in a hurry. Waiters don't even see if all is ok. I had to ask 3 times for a cuppa

Excellent coffee, fun breakfast menu with many things I would like to try. The home made tomato relish was the standout for my breakfast, but the eggs were also perfectly pushed and the rye was softly toasted, something not many places get right. I would have made it 5 ✨ if it wasn't for the outside staff who failed to guide us, just saying "sit anywhere",, but we were happy that we pushed on, and inside we were welcomed.

This was my first visit to the place, and I loved it. Whether you prefer a nice coffee or a more relaxed drink, you can enjoy it in this cosy atmosphere. You have the option to sit at a spacious indoor table, by the wide-open windows (as I did), or at a terrace table. The staff are friendly, and the establishment is clean. With a film lab nearby, this charming venue will definitely become a regular stop for me in the near future.

Charming place for a lovely brunch. Food is on point, service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is suited for any occasion - social or business. Would love for the coffee to have a bit more depth.
