We got married at The White Hart at the end of February 2025, and we cannot recommend it enough as a venue. If we could give this place 10 stars, we would. The inn has amazing charm, delicious food, and the best drinks we’ve ever had, but what really sets it apart is the people. From the first time we set foot inside we were treated so well, which is something that is lacking at larger venues (we looked at MANY venues and nothing could top The White Hart’s hospitality). Emma, our wedding coordinator, was AMAZING from the first time we met all the way through the big day. Ryan is an exceptional bartender who worked with us to create a delicious drink menu and Desiree was the MVP of the wedding morning making sure everyone had everything they needed while getting ready. The next morning the entire staff kept saying congratulations to us and made us feel so special. We cannot recommend The White Hart enough for your special day, it is truly an amazing place! We feel so grateful to have had our special day here, and look forward to visiting The White Hart on our anniversary for years to come!

Have been here to eat many times. Excellent coffee and brunch, breakfast, lunch fare. There is no place better than Thai within 15 miles. Good stuff.||Had the breakfast sandwich this morning delicious. Pastries also very good. Love their coffee. ||Can take the food into their dinning room and sit.

Can’t see enough great things about the food and service at this restaurant. Maybe we get special treatment because my daughter works here.😊 There’s also a café in the building where you can get scone sandwiches, breakfast things and coffee. This is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. You may see some celebrities as well, be respectful!

Wonderful room with very high attention to detail to the point where they matched the finish for the doorknob to the bathroom finish on the bathroom side and the room finish on the room side. The finish carpentry is wonderfully done and the room appointments were beautiful with Frette and Matouk linens. Quality throughout. The staff we interacted with were also very accommodating and wonderful as well. Dinner in the tavern was very good too. A great stay.

Google
This review is of the tavern. Lovely spot, especially in winter, with the fireplace cackling and the ambiance is casual, cozy and warm. Bartender, servers and host were all very friendly and attentive. Food is spectacular. We tried the confit chicken croquette, salmon, mushroom over grits, rigatoni, grilled pork chop and the fries. Standouts were the croquette, pork chop and mushroom dishes but honestly everything was delicious.

I love getting a coffee and a snack and sitting by the fire in the main guest lounges if I am ever near in CT. The walk up cafe food is great and mostly made to order. The service is friendly and it's a lovely place to sit on the deck in warm weather or nest by the fireplace or in the library room. The decoration feels like you are in the weekend section of the NY Times or in a cosy relatives house that you like ;)

A comfy country getaway inn. Great for families. The White Hart Inn is located in the most northwest town in CT. Mass to the north and NY state to the west. Our suite had 1 bedroom with a front room featuring a pull out sofa. There was a half bath and a full one, includes both shower and tub in the master bedroom. There's a very nice front porch to sit on and watch the world go by.|The main floor of the inn includes an intimate bar area on one side and a provisions (coffee, breads, sandwiches and prepared meals). Plenty of choices. You can eat there or take it with you.|Plenty of skiing and hiking trails in the area.

I absolutely loved my stay at the White Hart Inn. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the atmosphere was just what I needed. Beautiful little area with good restaurants (that close early! Careful!) and friendly folks.

Yelp
ORIGIN: Hart is an old English word for a mature male deer, and a white hart is prominently represented in English folklore. The White Hart itself has some history. The building dates back to 1806, with use as an inn soon thereafter. LOCATION: The White Hart is located in the center of Salisbury, as for centuries, a great place to stop when crossing New England. The town and its surroundings are also worthy of being the destination, as there are many natural attractions, as well as cultural institutions in the vicinity. CONCEPT: Today the White Hart welcomes travelers and local residents alike, with sixteen rooms, two restaurants, a wide porch, and ballroom. There is something for everyone. EXPERIENCE: The White Hart has artwork scattered across the building. As I waited for a garden fundraiser and talk to begin, I walked through the entrance floor and marveled at the variety and number of prints on the walls. A reception was arranged in the bar/lounge area next to the ballroom. Many thoughtful details could be found in the cheese board display. Most unique and striking was the use of a vase of forsythia branches to cast dappled light on the table.

Yelp
Food quality / price (value) rating 9.5. The atmosphere is like an 1800's Inn. I had the Turkey Avocado sandwich on a ciabota roll that was fantastic! The wife had the Broccoli Rabe samdwich with mozzarella cheese and stayed that ot was excellent. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area on the lawn with tables to enjoy, and a large porch with several areas to relax. Very cool place. The y have a full restaurant and bar, whoch was not open when we were there, but we're looking forward to going back.

Yelp
Beautiful inn and tavern restaurant in a charming town. Large lawn and porch for enjoying the warmer weather and fall foliage

Yelp
Even if you arrive the week before your reservation, the host accommodates your party of four by the window. The army of servers (Emily & Co) offer an eclectic menu-- generous winelist, high marks on the burger, pork shoulder and fish & chips. The eggplant dish is most original, meaty hunks on a bed of cuke/tomato. Warm rolls arrive on a slab of slate. A jolly large party fills the room to celebrate an engagement --turning us into party crashers.

Casaundra M.

Yelp
Lovely Inn with exceptional dining options. Love visiting in the summer. This was our first visited in the winter and really loved the fireplaces.

Walter W.

Yelp
near lovely hikes like Lions Head and Bear Mtn (CT not Harriman), this luxe country inn feature beautiful suites including a few dog friendly rooms, expert craft cocktails, delicious dinner, amazing breakfast/coffee bar, & relaxing and beautiful common spaces to read/work/chill. Worth mentioning: very decent local gym is a quick drive from here AND industry-level ortho/sports massage Birgit Jensen is nearby in Lakeville (book her far in advance) ....making for the ideal, perfect NYC getaway escape. Cannot recommend this inn & quiet town highly enough for a romantic tryst, a wedding, or just to chill & hike with your pups.

Lisa W.

Yelp
Beautiful, traditional country hotel, with impeccable service, delicious food and spacious/clean/modern rooms! It's a wonderful place to spend a quintessential New England weekend!

Yelp
Review of Restaurant only My wife and I have dined at The White Hart three or four times over the last couple of years and the experience just gets better and better. Last night, we sat in the taproom, as the lucky guests of friends. Every dish showed an exemplary combination of sound, exciting conception and flawless technique. I am a French-trained chef, and I can assure you there is no better cook anywhere in the area. This gentleman deserves much more recognition, and all of his loyal following, among which we number ourselves and other friends. The service and ambiance are equally topnotch, they make great cocktails, and choose excellent wine. The setting is beautiful. What more could you ask for?

Connie G.

Yelp
The White Hart finally has a chef that knows good food and his is good. Good drinks and desserts as well.

Yelp
We drove up to the NW corner of CT on a gorgeous Sunday and stopped in to the White Hart. What a gorgeous area of Connecticut! We visited their café in the morning so we had coffees and shared a bagel sandwich and a pumpkin muffin. We enjoyed our coffee and food and would love to experience a White Hart lunch or dinner one day. We explored the Inn a bit. The dining areas and lounge rooms are gorgeous and inviting. Could just sit and take in the views all day. The White Hart has a great porch with some seating overlooking the green area. When we were there, the fall festival was happening on the green with vendors and local artists. We enjoyed our visit to White Hart and look forward to another visit for lunch or dinner soon.

Yelp
It had been a decade and a half since I was at the White Hart so I was curious to see the reopened Inn under it's new ownership. Tap room hasn't changed, same great atmosphere - this place still has charm! Unfortunately the new dining room was too bright and sparse, could use more privacy and comfortable seating - maybe some folding screens, softer lighting and some good classic jazz? The food ranged from average to amazing - all well presented. The service was prompt, professional and pleasant - excellent.

Yelp
A friend and I made a last-minute reservation for dinner in the Garden Room when we were staying nearby. The host of our bed & breakfast explained that some folks travel quite a distance to come here -- after our meal, I would say that we were really pleased with the food and charmed by the warm, accommodating service; it's certainly the kind of thing we'd expect from a well-reviewed spot in NYC or DC (where we live), but not necessarily the kind of "wow" place to warrant its own trip. We started with the house-made pretzel with goat cheese-garlic dip, which was fantastic and had my friend, who is vegan, sad that she couldn't partake in the dip. I had the blackened fish tacos (with pea shoot salad, avocado aioli, and chips); they were quite good, with not too much breading and very fresh, crispy and light chips. The vegan options, on the current menu at least, were pretty limited. Thankfully, our waiter was really knowledgeable about what could and couldn't be modified (really, not much!) and suggested a duck-less fig, hazelnut and lamb's lettuce salad. My friend enjoyed the salad but was left a little hungry, so she snacked on my chips. We really liked the wine, and service was definitely the high point of the night. Food was good but not omg-great -- I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area but don't go far out of your way.

Venus D.

Yelp
Love the staff here, but the dinner menu could use some additions. They never have specials either. Also, don't try to reinvent fried chicken. I love hot honey, but on chicken it's to heavy. Just make classic, soul fulfilling fried chicken with regular mash, a biscuit or Cole slaw. It also has to be hot! Steak is often tough. The menu is too limited. Again, staff is very nice!

Donald S.

Yelp
Nice limited menu, good friendly service. Menu advertised on website wasn't exactly what was offered. Ie. Lobster sauce now mushroom sauce. Interesting cocktails.

Michael R.

Yelp
It was quite good. Nice to see a local stalwart doing so well. i am twenty two characters away from yelp allowing me to publish but i've said all i need to say.

Sasha F.

Yelp
Ate in the Tap Room. Exquisite. Try to get a table in the back room, which is big and airy. So so good.

Larry C.

Yelp
I used to go to the White Hart many years ago, and enjoyed its classic New England Inn atmosphere. Recently went for lunch under the new ownership and was very disappointed. We had to walk through several empty rooms to find the lunch counter. No table service, just order at the counter and find yourself a table. I'm OK with that, but the whole impression was definitely NOT classic New England Inn. The food was in a glass cabinet by the register, and the whole experience was a big disappointment. Maybe at dinner time the old charm is there, but I won't go back. And the prices on the online menu are very high, even for 2023. There are much better options in the area. I generally don't like to write negative reviews, but the White Hart has lost its old magic.

Brian D.

Yelp
Ive lived in Salisbury for 40 years and have always enjoyed the Whitehart dinning experience through all of the past owners; however, I stopped in for a cocktail with a friend and was treated very rudely by staff in the bar /dinning room. We stood there patiently while the bartender and server stood behind the bar ignoring us until I simply asked if we could order a cocktail. I was tersely informed that there were no seats available, as if we wished to take a table rather than a seat at the empty bar. The attitude was so negative that I left. It was obvious to me that our presence was a great imposition to these employees. I will wait until the next ownership change to return, as it is sure to happen when you treat your local clientele in this fashion.

Yelp
We held our rehearsal dinner here in September. The communication leading up to it was outstanding with Emma. We had the private back room for the whole night. The food was delicious, they printed custom menus and tailored the meal to us. Service was excellent. The rest of the wedding guests arrived casually to enjoy drinks on the property while we finished dinner and it was gorgeous. A nice way to kick off our wedding weekend. We have also stayed here in the past as guests of the Inn, its lovely.

Alex E.

Yelp
I had a lovely meal here. Creative drinks paired excellently with innovative comfort food. I'll be coming back :)

Caitlin G.

Yelp
My husband and I had such a nice stay at the White Hart Inn, I never want to leave. We came for a Sunday night and were welcomed with an upgrade to a beautiful suite. We ordered dinner from the White Hart restaurant to our room and it was so incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the fried chicken as well as the Caesar salad. We ordered warm Wassail cocktails with bourbon. Everything came up quickly and hot and was removed just as quickly. Big props to Luke who has taken excellent care of us since our arrival. Breakfast in the morning is a dream. We will definitely be back again soon.

Neil S.

Yelp
We must have hit a busy weekend as the noise was intense and the service slow. But, more importantly, the Fish & Chips were too salty - the fish coating was nice but salty and the mushy peas were (inedible) as in way too salty. White Hart - I can add my own salt; you don't need to add so much! Also, there tends to be many clueless, older patrons who talk so loudly one can't focus on their own conversations.

Anthony S.

Yelp
This restaurant and the owner and staff represent the standard for caring for their customers and presenting the highest quality of food. It is very evident that they believe the experience of dining is an important occasion and needs the attention of all to realize that goal. Highly recommend.

Lance L.

Yelp
The food was good and moderately priced. The atmosphere is great - and old inn. My wife wanted Eggs Benedict but the only option for the sauce was a hot hollandaise. She couldn't find anything on the menu and settled for the English Breakfast which she didn't quite care for. My stepson ordered the cheeseburger with fries and was very satisfied with it. I order the Eggs Benedict and the sauce was too hot. I wouldn't order it again. In addition, I think I have been spoiled by the Eggs Benedict served by the Chaiwalla Tea House across the street - Mary's has the best Eggs Benedict hands down. The orange juice was fresh and coffee was good. I might try them again at some point in the future.

Melissa T.

Yelp
I wasn't as impressed with The White Hart as I really wanted to be. From the outside and inside decor it held the promise of a great meal. I ordered the soup of the day which was a delicious tomato soup, but nothing that I felt I couldn't make myself at home. My dinner companion ordered the chips and onion dip which she said were good but I noticed she didn't finish them. For dinner I ordered the shrimp tacos with grilled pineapple. It was flavorless, even when I added the white sauce that accompanied the dish it didn't help because that too had no noticeable taste. My friend ordered the burger and while she liked the fries said the burger was nothing special. Finally we ordered dessert. Which we both enjoyed the chocolate pot with espresso cream. I felt the menu pricing was fair and the atmosphere great for a summer night. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Steven V.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible service from an establishment within a first class hotel. Had to find someone to take our drink order, then waited 15 minutes for drinks that didn't come and had to remind waiter who said he "forgot." Food was very good, but had to ask three times for ketchup to go with fries. Then had to ask twice for the check. There was only one waiter to work over 10 tables. Management needs to address some serious issues with this establishment.

D H.

Yelp
Wow! Went for a warm fire in the Tavern when the spring temperatures dipped and were looking for the wood fire. Staff encouraged us to check out the newly redecorated spaces in the Inn. We settled in the reception hall on a comfy sofa next to the fire. The food represented a new chef trained at CIA. Pretzel rolls with caramel thyme butter complimented the soup sampler - shitake mushroom with dark chocolate, elk chili and acorn bisque. Entrees of divers scallops and NY strip were A+ pressentation and taste. Worth the drive. Sunday brunch menu looked good. Will definately return.

Yelp
Brought my family to celebrate two family birthdays. Sat in the cozy pub room...all was set up for us when we arrived and we had attentive wait service from start to finish. Ordered drinks, fortunately they have a great beer menu along with a lovely wine selection. Younger folks ordered burgers and were VERY happy, I had the baked eggs, which spectacular, just delicious. Siblings and friends had the tart and eggs also... They are chefs and gave very high ratings to everything! Husband had chili and loved it, parents had a hot dog and an omelette and they looked delicious...everyone kept swiping the homemade chips! We shared the Ploughman's lunch as an app...interesting and tasty! Got a visit from the chef-owner...always fun and a pleasure! We brought our own birthday cake, as the pastry chef was off duty...they graciously lit candles and helped us sing. We had a wonderful time...felt like home, if home was a top rated restaurant! Many thanks for helping us celebrate an important day in such a warm and special way!!!

Yelp
I feel like I should do two reviews for this, as there are two distinct eating experiences to be had here, but I'll combine them. If you want something a bit upscale and fancy, the dining room is the place to go. They accept reservations and the food is fantastic. The last time we went we got the chateaubriand for two and it was perfectly rare and melt-in-your mouth delicious. Expensive but very high quality food and well worth it. If you want to be more relaxed, head to the bar. There are no reservations and the seating is limited so if it's a busy weekend (like it was on Labor Day weekend when we visited) go early or be prepared to wait. I had slow roasted pork shoulder that came with roasted vegetable and a mac and cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. My wife got a burger that she absolutely loved. The beer list is small but good. Ask what they have on tap, you'll get something good that way. We love it and can't wait to visit again.

B A.

Yelp
We visited last night for dinner in the Taproom. It was the more casual room option there, and we loved it. Mussels, salmon mousse crostini, fall squash puree soup and bucatini pasta specials were all excellent, as was the service team..kind, friendly, and helpful! We also tried dessert and had the lemon pudding surprise and their housemade ice cream, it was all amazing! We really enjoyed the short-fish ride from the Berkshires, and will definitely be back for dinner, or brunch in the future and to try Provisions store. Highly recommend, Enjoy!

Brian Q.

Yelp
I still stand by my previous review from 3/26/15 but would like to add my opinion of the main dining room. The main dining room is moderately more formal than the tap room, but based on the decor and the attire of the other patrons, I'd have no problem feeling comfortable showing up in jeans and a dress shirt (I wore a jacket only because I was unsure + it was chilly that evening). I'd say that the level of formality is just about right for the best restaurant in the Northwest Corner. The food is where The White Hart really shines. I had a scallop crudo to start (my favorite dish I've had in a while anywhere) and had lamb for my main course. The brought out some excellent small bites for us to have, as well. Overall, the main dining room is another way that The White Hart really delivers for the area.

Julie H.

Yelp
This is second trip to The White Hart Inn and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived they staff was amazing from helping with a hike to the late night staff preparing me warm honey and water for a sore throat as they were ready to go home. The offered with a smile and truly cared. Our supper at the Tap Room was delicious from the caramelized onion tart to the pasta and cheese board. Attention to detail is appreciated. The room is spacious and comfortable. The morning continental breakfast at The Provisions was just right. Great location, great service, lovely accommodations.

Thomas D.

Yelp
This place was great. It's just what you want when you travel from NYC. It has great food and great service. THANK YOU TO Ken! Who was personable and friendly and did I mention hilarious! I recommend this to all travelers and locals a like.10/10

Cory Z.

Yelp
Tried to stay here as they were listed in a guidebook at a reasonable price. The only words that comes to mind are pretentious and BAIT AND SWITCH. First we had to wait five minutes for the lady to get off the phone. Then we were informed that the listed rate was no longer valid. But the insulting part was that the new rate was $300 higher! $385/night for a room that used to go for $90!?! Good luck with that. I'll give the lady points for saying the rate with a straight face, but if you don't want my business get out of the guide books and don't insult me.

Yelp
A stay at the White Hart Inn feels like you just discovered a stylish, professional chef in your family has opened up a vacation retreat. Like Giada started summering in Newport and told you to drop by her all white and hardwood floored domicile for some hospitality. The main building is spotless and decorated in classic New England colonial style with an expansive dining room and banquet hall. The Tap Room has a familiar neighborhood pub feel - if you lived out in the West End in London and visited the local wood-paneled watering hole. The food really is locally sourced with fresh salad produce, northeastern cheeses and interesting entrees. Duck Shepherd's Pie or Spiced Pear Martini, anyone? They morning rhubarb jam and baked pastries were excellent. It snowed a foot the first night here before Thanksgiving, and it looks like a Rockwell winter postcard. I think another trip is in order. Just don't tell Conde Nast or they'll write it up and everyone will know. Oops, too late.

josh t.

Yelp
The bar menu is small and doesn't change much, but it's all very very good. There's always a new beer on tap and the atmosphere is as cozy as it gets, especially on a wintery day.

New England N.

Yelp
Always my favorite place! Fabulous ambience, delicious and innovative cuisine and lots of character. Although I had a not-so-great server experience of late...I was handsomely rewarded with an complimentary invitation for my family to return. I absolutely recommend this establishment and also insist that you order the parker house rolls-you will NOT be disappointed!

Joe S.

Yelp
Too bad the stars don't go to six! So glad to see this old Inn running again. The whole meal last night was to die for! We drove up from New Milford and it was worth it. Don't miss this restaurant!

David C.

Yelp
I stayed here 7 years ago and thought it was a bit run down. Now the overhaul is amazing. Clean, white and well done my room was great. Big enuff for a king size bed and 2 flat screens. 1 & 1/2 baths which is great for 2 people. Full sitting room. The food was fine with a large, sun light breakfast room. However with floor to ceiling windows, its a bit noisy. And a with stone floor, the tables can be a bit uneven. That would be the only down side here... And hey everyone loves a second act.

Michael T.

Yelp
I've been staying here for years. It is by far the best option in the area. Interlaken and others have gone downhilll but this hotel constantly updates and keeps the building in great shape. Staff is friendly also. The restaurant is ok but nothing to write home about. If they got a 5 star dining experience onsite they would be top ten CT contenders.

Eddie M.

Yelp
Despite the disappointing experience with the uncontrolled noise in the dining room, we've been back to the dining room and to the tap room several times since. The management was aware of the noise problem in the dining room - they've installed noise-dampening features, and it's much better now. The White Hart has really hit its stride: both in the dining room and the tap room, the food is consistently fine, uses high quality ingredients, and is creatively composed. The service is also consistent, and low key but helpful. The wine list is also notable: there are a lot of fine and not just mainstream wines on the list, and many of them aren't expensive. It's a very well-chosen list, and it doesn't send the message that the White Hart is trying to make a lot of money by selling overpriced wines. Keep up the good work, White Hart!

J H.

Yelp
This is for Provisions - the café attached to The White Hart. I came with a friend for coffee and a chat. There was one person ahead of us in the line who ordered a sandwich and a beverage. From the time we got in line to the time we got our coffee 25 MINUTES had passed (not an exaggeration). When my friend inquired politely about the wait, a staff member gave her a snarky comment (there were three people working behind the counter). I ordered an americano, which was very weak. On the plus side, my friend ordered a latte, which she reported to be delicious. I will not be returning to this place, as there are other coffee shops in the area that provide better service.

Cedric B.

Yelp
One of our favorite weekends is to spend a night at the White Hart, have dinner in the Tap Room by the fireplace, and ski at Mohawk. We especially love the Tap Room - everything is delicious from the drinks to the bread to the mains (and much less expensive than NYC prices).

Alex T.

Yelp
Great old school new england vibe with modern updates and friendly/helpful staff. Couldn't say more great things about the quality of the cocktail list, experience eating either indoors or outdoors, or the fun staff who made us feel at home there.

The W.

Yelp
Came in to grab a cup of coffee and edit some pictures, the coffee was great and the vibe was positive. But then out of no where an older lady with blonde, shoulder length hair came out of no where and started raising her voice at another employee. The other employee tried to calm down the situation and requested to talk about what ever the disagreement was about but the blonde lady shut her attempt down and stormed off into what seemed like an office. Regardless of what the situation was about, NO ONE should have to deal with hostility like that at work. It was completely inappropriate behavior to the other employee and also inappropriate behavior infront of customers. Someone needs to be checked and learn to control her emotions.

Ginny D.

Yelp
I was in the area for a few days with my family. I had two GREAT meals. One was at the bar in the Tap Room. Cozy. Quiet. Just right for an adult conversation. The salmon on an open-face egg salad sandwich was just the ticket for this late lunch. The ambiance was so perfect I returned with my kids and two grandsons (5 and 7.) We got a warm and comfortable corner booth which was perfect. The menu was accommodating to adults and kids. I love a restaurant that is joyful and respectful of kids. Kids live up to the expectations! The mushroom soup was rich and worth every calorie. And the plate of salad greens was full of surprises - like tasty tarragon. I was jealous of my daughter who ordered the onion tart. I almost grabbed my son's fried fish sandwich of the day with slaw tumbling out of it. I can't say enough...except one more thing - the price was right!!! for a family!

Helen F.

Yelp
We had been told that the dining room would be open on Tuesday, December 26, and so we booked a table and a room at the White Hart for my husband's birthday. I called twice to confirm this and thought we were all set. After we checked into our very expensive room and went down to dinner, we found out that only the Pub and the "garden room" behind the bar were open. We could not have been more disappointed. We wanted a classy, romantic dinner with good food and we ended up with mediocre pub food in a room that looked like a big hall with bad lighting. The staff acted like we made the mistake. They gave us a free drink and a free dessert but it didn't make up for our disappointment and the food. Thanks for ruining my husband's birthday.

Steven K.

Yelp
My wife's and I had an amazing experience this weekend at The White Hart. We went in on Friday not expecting much but once my fried hen came to the table and my wife's fish taco we were moved by how amazing the food looked. Then when we began to eat we realized the food tasted even better then it looked. The hen was nice and crunchy on the outside but yet moist and juicy on the inside. The potato salad was out of this world. As for the house made hot sauce I wanted to take a bottle home with me. Highly recommend the white hart if you are looking for a place to eat.

Josh S.

Yelp
The White Hart is a new family favorite. We the inn is beautiful, the restaurant is fantastic, and their provisions store is fantastic! We have been going since it opened and every member of our family loves it. For a more casual meal, there is seating available in the bar with cozy tables near a fireplace. For a more formal meal, there is a gorgeous dining room and the menu is delicious with kids options, too!
