We went for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Lovely postcard with a message from the team on arrival, who were great throughout. We ordered the best 0% fizz I've ever tasted, all the food was delicious. The starters are really unique with the mains being more traditional making the perfect balance. The deserts were really good portions and the coffee was fantastic. And we even got to catch the sunset.

We had the most incredible meal here on 09/09/25 for our 2 year wedding anniversary, and our first trip away after a particularly difficult year health wise. We were up in North Norfolk on a few nights away to celebrate, and our meal here was one of the highlights. The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. The restaurant was full of people that clearly love the place and have been before, and we could see why. The views over the water were phenomenal, especially watching the sun going down and being surrounded by candlelight. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful meal.

I recently visited this place and had a brilliant time! Carolina was a star, sorting us out with a table in the restaurant when we accidentally ended up in the bar—definitely a bit unclear on the website, but she handled it like a pro. The food and drinks were spot on, with everything piping hot and super tasty. The atmosphere was nice, too, though it felt a touch busier than I expected. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I left feeling really satisfied!

Can’t praise this pub enough! Went there for our 40th wedding anniversary for lunch - family of 4, plus baby, plus 2 dogs. We had booked and asked for a bigger table as we had pram and 2 dogs - we got what we asked for, plenty of room and a card wishing us happy anniversary on the table. We all had some form of seafood. The sharing platter was enormous, the mixed seafood dish was delicious (so my husband said) and the prawns with ciabatta & rocket was gorgeous. After we had eaten the staff brought us over a complimentary dessert plate with chocolates & fruit. Even though we were full we managed to eat it.|Absolutely amazing - delicious food, impeccable service and the staff are so friendly. Made us feel really special on our anniversary. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

5 stars doesn't seem like enough for this place! I had a wonderful experience dining here with my family. Despite predominantly being a seafood restaurant, there are still plenty of delicious vegetarian options available. I opted for the cauliflower steak for my main; the presentation was immaculate and the taste even better. Really friendly service and amazing setting too, right by the sea. It's definitely on the pricey side but worth it in my opinion! Due to how popular this place is I definitely recommend booking in advance- we had to book a month is advance for a party of six

We came for an anniversary dinner, this was our first visit here, when we were seated we were given a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waiter was super friendly and went above and beyond. Drinks came quickly and the non alcoholic cocktail was delicious. Food can and it was outstanding! I had the ravioli which was delicious, my wife had a seafood dish which she absolutely loved! The only slight complaint she had, is she struggled with the crayfish shell as she only had a knife and fork to attempt to crack it. Dessert came and we were surprised with the 4 small desserts on a slate that said ‘happy anniversary’, this was such a lovely surprise. It was delicious and very much appreciated. We also had a lemon tart and the caramelised white chocolate, both of these were beautifully presented and delicious. I really liked that the tart had a crispy top, I haven’t seen this in another restaurant before, but it was lovely. And I was so happy to have a lemon tart that actually tasted of lemon! We will definitely return again.

We had lunch today to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The food was great and the staff were fantastic. There was a special anniversary greetings card on the table and at the end of our lunch a special dessert. Also the view is wonderful. It made our day.

Didn't stay in a room so no comment. But the food! The service! The whole experience! What a beautiful place. We ate on the terrace; starters were really tasty, a good size and well presented, and the mains were just as good. A great selection on the menu, really something for most tastes I should think, and all were amazing. Well cooked, full of flavour and looking beautiful. The staff are great, I asked which of the ale selection was light and citrus-y and was recommended a great local ale. We were a party of 4, only 3 had deserts and I think the 4th wished they had! Can't deny it is on the pricier side, but for the quality, cooking and presentation of the food, the atmosphere, the beautiful scenery and the staff, all together I absolutely believe it is well worth it and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you White Horse, Brancaster, we had a wonderful day.
