We dined here on the first evening of our Norfolk coastal holiday and we had an excellent table on the veranda looking out to the coast during sunset - we loved it! If you love fish, this is is a great place to dine, my food was AMAZING. We loved that we could easily take our dog, and that he was welcomed and not an inconvenience! Our waitress was lovely, warm, kind and had great energy - she even returned something that I had left behind, as she kept watch of when we returned from the seats nearer the coast to watch the sun set! Highly recommend and we would have gone back if we had a longer stay.

We went for dinner on Saturday evening. The view from the dining room was stunning! The service was excellent but the best part was the quality of the food. We had burrata and mackerel pate to start with some sour dough. Followed by perfectly cooked steak and cockle and clam linguine. Every mouthful was amazing! We walked down to the bar and had a drink watching the sun go down and the tide roll in. Can’t wait to go back.

Impromptu visit for dinner only whilst driving by. Superb location with views out of the rear dining room over the marshes. Lovely sunset evening skies. Delicious menu - we enjoyed the choice of seafood dishes especially. Seared tuna with Vietnamese style slaw was a very tasty starter and would have gladly had this as a main. The asparagus & poached egg was also a delicious starter. The sea bream main course was another great choice, served on the bone & cooked perfectly. I had the pan fried sea trout - perfect crispy skin and served with the most delicious sauce - silky smooth & packed full of flavour, lots of plump cockles too - I’d definitely have this one again & again. Staff were very welcoming despite no reservation and excellent service throughout, including good wine recommendations. A lovely bag of jelly beans with the bill & two very happy customers - would recommend.

We ventured out for a midweek lunch and found a pleasant and welcoming restaurant set in the best corner of east Anglia. | The service was excellent and swift, thorough and friendly. Kate took great care of us and has exceptionally manicured nails in fluorescent green which as a fan of The Big Lebowski , I found most delightful. | The food was gorgeous and looked almost too good to eat, it did feel like devouring some great sculpture or portrait of a seascape. But once we broke in it, it was easy to munch through the mountain of fresh delights.| My late Father was a fishmonger so I am extremely particular about seafood and where I eat it, but this was as fresh as any I have ever enjoyed and came served on a huge ice platter and just had a wonderful aroma of the ocean to it. | Our dogs were made more than welcome and enjoyed meeting everyone as much as we did.

Another delightful stay at our favourite UK hotel and restaurant. As always the room was splendid and the meals excellent. Special thanks to the waitress who took pains to find us a better table after things weren't quite right. We find all the staff are friendly and accommodating. It can be busy, but that's a contrast to the quiet coastline walks. This won't be our last visit.

Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday a memorable one. Especially Paul for fitting us in the day before. We love the White Horse. The views, the atmosphere and especially the food particularly the seafood and fabulous drinks menu. Everything!! Also thank you for allowing us to bring our pup Cleo , she loved it as much as we did. Thanks again. See you soon

This hotel/pub/restaurant is outstanding.|The customer service is warm, helpful and prompt.|The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shower is very good.|The food is very good with an emphasis on seafood. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon. The views from the restaurant over the marshes are beautiful. The bar is warm and welcoming with a good selection of beers.|The marsh bar at the end of the garden next to the coastal path is of the same standard as the hotel. I spent an enjoyable late afternoon there reading with a pint of Luck Lobster to hand. Bliss!|This place is not cheap but a delightful experience.

My family and I went to this pub for their Seafood Festival on Sunday. It is always very popular so we went prepared to wait for a table in the Marshside area. The host was amazing I think her name was Julia. She was welcoming, friendly and asked us to go and get a drink and wait on the benches overlooking the Marsh and she would come and get us when the table was ready. There was live music from 2 amazing singers and the view was beautiful. We didn't wait very long at all and the table was perfectly positioned to appreciate the Marsh view and watch the birds and boats. There was a special menu for the festival. We chose 6 plates for 3 of us which was plenty of food. The dishes were beautifully presented, tasted amazing and were really interesting combinations of fresh, locally sourced produce. We were told that the oysters are sourced just a short walk from the restaurant! My favourite dish was the soft shell crab in a Thai curry sauce- so tasty! My fussy son chose chicken strips and said they were amazing!!! The wine menu was very comprehensive and my NZ Sav was lovely. It really was a perfect meal with friendly professional staff and an amazing atmosphere with lovely live music. Can't wait for the next visit. Special mention to Fran and Rob who were very knowledgeable about seafood and the local area.
