We stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast and ate in the restaurant the first night we were there. The staff are incredible, attentive, friendly and seem to take great pride in what they do. We stayed in room 9 it was so clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was extensive and cooked to perfection. The bar area is cosy with the fire and a great range of drinks. Overall comfy, cosy, clean and friendly as well as bang in the centre of Pickering. Will definitely return to this lovely establishment.

We have just come back from a two night stay. The hotel was just perfect, clean, tidy and very cosy with roaring fires. We stayed in the main part of the hotel. The bedrooms were beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Great choice of food on the menu and a lovely bar area to relax in after a busy day. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. |A visit to the steam railway just down the road is a must. Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay just a short drive through the moors.

So the gravy was soggy it tastes like water the potatoes where not cooked well. The meat was very fatty and was very dry and definitely did not cost 19 pounds. I thought this was going to be a promising meal but it was quite the opposite this was suppose to be a nice Sunday rost for the last day with my dad so yeah is you want to find a good Sunday rost I will recommend the little mill inn it is very good and that’s it bye Definitely all of that did not cost 65 pounds So bye

Great stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable room, bigger than expected. Room even had room for a two-seater sofa. Food was excellent and plenty of choice. We had evening meal and breakfast at the Swan. My only negative was it was a bit cold by the windows. But this wouldn’t stop us staying there again if we were in the area.

Really lovely stay at The White Swan this weekend. Beautiful cosy hotel with roaring fires - perfect for a cold weekend with snow! The breakfasts were delicious and the staff friendly. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable. We were there for a birthday celebration and the lunch was held at the hotel which was suitably festive.

What a beautiful place to stay. The room was beautiful and tge bed was comfy with a cosy fluffy quilt. The pub is so traditional with open fires. Staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying and we will return. Perfect from start to finish.

It was my second stay at this hotel and I will definitely return. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms and food are superb! I have already booked another stay! It is an excellent location to stay to visit Pickering and to explore the north York moors.

We called in here for a drink while in Pickering. We sat in what felt like being in an old style living room. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, would definitely recommend and would call in again.

Yelp
A great roaring log fire (it's November) a crisp Pinot Grigio and great food. I'll say no more!

Yelp
After change of the management the restaurant is no longer worth a visit: poor quality, high prices!
