The White Tree

We went for quick lunch there and couldn’t have been impressed more. Food was amazing! Mediterranean skew but menu is quite versatile. Very-very cozy interior, natural design touches, outdoor terrace, quite street. Such an oasis in the very busy and hot Pristina downtown.

I was visiting Kosovo for a long weekend on my own, and thought this would be a great way to meet others. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure I was the only person staying there. I had a 6 bed dorm to myself, which was clean and functional. It was very cold at night so I took some of the duvets off the spare beds to use. Everything in the room smelt of smoke despite being non-smoking. I suppose it wafts up from the bar area downstairs, along with the noise! Although this usually quietens down between 12 and 1am.||The bar is a great place to chill out and beer is only 1 Euro, plus you get a free welcome drink on arrival. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they speak good English. The staff really made the experience for me. They recommended restaurants, explained how to get to the bus ststion, called me a taxi, even ordered me a kebab from down the road for lunch in the bar area and invited me out with them for drinks after the bar closed. I declined as I was slightly worried about getting back safely. The taxi driver from the airport really struggled to find the hostel, even when given the address!||Theocation is good, just off Bill Clinton Blvd and about 5 minutes walk from the cathedral. There's plenty of places to get snacks nearby, although bars and restaurants in town are a slightly longer walk.||There is an outdoor space which I think would be lovely in summer when presumably there are more visitors. Dont forget to say hello to the resident cat, his name actually means 'cat' in Albanian!||

I stayed at The White Tree hotel for my visit to Kosovo, my experience at The White Tree Hotel has been truly exceptional. The hospitality extended to us has been outstanding, surpassing our expectations. The staff demonstrated remarkable kindness, taking the time to understand and accommodate my family's needs. Notably, they allowed us to extend our stay past the check-out time due to our late flight, for which I am immensely grateful. The owner's warmth and friendliness were noteworthy, and the restaurant offered delicious, well-prepared meals served by lovely waitstaff. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved. May God bless you all abundantly. Kosovo has left a lasting impression on me.

Paying 7€ for the most basic burger you’ve ever tried in your life is simply not acceptable by Prishtina standards.

I visited The White Tree for lunch in June of 2023 for the first time. Being a native of the Prishtina area, I have been to the city dozens of times but had not previously come across The White Tree. The neighbourhood (Albanian: Lagje e Pejtonit) is an oasis of quiet in the heart of the Prishtina city centre, and is right opposite the Albanian Embassy. ||The restaurant was clean and well-kept. I ate a burger and had a macchiato and was very satisfied with both. This is definitely a spot for bringing foreign visitors, or even to have after-work drinks/dinner.

Used to be great place to visit for lunch, prices now doubled and quality not changed/got worse. Ordered chicken burger, chicken overcooked and dry, didn't fill roll, service was slow and portion sizes reduced from before current update. Used to frequent this restaurant a lot but compared to competition in area it is now overpriced for the quality

Great place for dinner or a drink. Menu is a bit difficult to decipher for an English speaker but food is excellent. The flavors of Kosovo stand out. Staff is helpful and friendly. Beer selection is good for this area. Music on the sound system is fantastic! I would like to know where they get it. Location is not ideal but worth finding.

Very kind personel.You have to order and wait for breakfast. Rooms don't feel fresh. The higiene is not what I was expecting. Location and price is very good. Really nice bar.
