The Wicklow Escape

We recently had business meetings and team-building at The Wicklow Escape. Our group of 12 stayed for 2 days and 1 night, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Kate took exceptional care of our booking and looked after us throughout our stay. She coordinated everything seamlessly, from our accommodation and meeting spaces to the catering. She also helped us arrange some fantastic team-building activities, including a lovely morning woodland walk, a meditation relaxation session, and an exciting Bushcraft Survival Skills Session. The venue itself is a unique, rustic countryside retreat set amidst a stunning landscape. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the hot, powerful showers were a great way to unwind after a long day. Now, let's talk about the food – it was absolutely FANTASTIC! Every meal was a five-star experience, with clean plates all around at every sitting! I wholeheartedly recommend The Wicklow Escape to any company looking for a truly unique and memorable experience. It offers a refreshing change from mainstream hotels, providing an excellent environment for focus and collaboration while feeling like a step away from the corporate grind. Family wedding at the being of December. Location was magical. Hidden away, no traffic noise or anything. The bedrooms, ceremony tent, dining hall, all beautifully decorated. Food was phenomenal and plenty of it. Bar was full stocked. Kate, Derek, Alana are a credit to the business. Helpful, king and nothing was ever too much. Ceremony was pushed forward 1 hour due to a family emergency and there was no stress. Everything was seamless. I would highly recommend for small intimate weddings. There was also an outdoor fire heated hot tub. Absolutely incredible!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. We spent three incredible days at this venue for our wedding, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue is in a beautiful location, nestled beside the Sugarloaf, with the woods being a part of the venue. Every single request we made was handled promptly and with care — the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Kate is a true standout and an incredible asset to Wicklow Escape. Any question we had, she was always there with an answer, guidance, and genuine care. Her knowledge, professionalism, and kindness made a huge difference and helped make our event as perfect as it was. Even with unpredictable weather, it had absolutely no impact on the weekend. The venue itself is stunning and well-prepared for anything, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The food was another highlight — absolutely delicious, plentiful, and consistently excellent throughout the stay. From the accommodations to the service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. We truly have no complaints whatsoever. This was a flawless weekend and an unforgettable celebration. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a perfect, well-organized, and memorable stay. We would return in a heartbeat.

Every wish was met with speed and a smile. There wasn't a thing that the staff weren't prepared to help you with. Every need was met and any extra requests were gladly done in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a venue with soul and lasting special memories..look no further! |What a stunning location. Great roads considering it's in the mountains. Wonderful walks, scenery is breathtaking. A tranquil atmosphere. The accomodation is just gorgeous. Homely, simple yet elegant decor. The beds.. oh my goodness!! How I miss the incredible comfort of the bed ! Hairdryer, extension cord, kettle with tea)coffee makes a perfect addition. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean. No soap in the shower, however hand soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. The bathrobes are a huge plus! The food was plentiful, healthy, homely and so tasty. Thank you to the incredible staff who worked so hard to make sure we all had the perfect stay. Hope to be back soon.

Well Emma our Bride knew what she was doing booking here for her wedding. The most perfect setting for her special day. From the moment we arrivied we were met with the most helpful, cheery staff, nothing was too much for them. Special word of thanks to Kate who's attention to the bride on the day was exceptional. When you meet Derek you won't forget him, his character adds to the atmosphere of the surroundings. No matter the weather Wicklow escape have it covered fans, umbrellas etc. Our rooms were fab and so comfy. It is without doubt a little bit of heaven in west Wicklow... go on treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. Tks everyone.
