Regrettably, the substantial gap between the price and the actual quality of the accommodations, linens, upkeep, and service was too significant to overlook. As a result, I will not be returning and cannot recommend the property to others. NOT 4 star! Middle of the road hotel!! I recently stayed at your resort, primarily drawn by its beautiful grounds and convenient location. The landscaping was truly lovely, with a stunning fountain that created a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
We also enjoyed the unique rooftop telescope—it was a cool feature that added a special touch to the experience.
Unfortunately, these highlights were significantly overshadowed by several disappointments, especially considering the premium nightly rate of $430, which set an high expectations for quality in cleanliness, linens, maintenance, and service.
The bedding and towels were far below the luxurious standard we anticipated—thin, worn, and lacking the softness and quality expected at this price level. The room itself showed noticeable signs of neglect: the drapes and shower curtain were stained, the chair was faded and damaged, and the wall behind the dresser had chipped and peeling paint that had clearly gone unaddressed.
Daily housekeeping was inconsistent and inadequate. They failed to restock essentials such as washcloths, toiletries, or kitchen items, and the overall cleaning felt rushed and incomplete.
The towel supply by the hot tub was another frustration—stocked only on our first evening, with the container left empty for the remaining two days of our stay.
The final disappointment came when we were abruptly woken at 8:30 a.m. by loud yelling from the cleaning staff directly outside our door. When I opened the door to inquire about the yelling. ….the response was simply that they “don’t deal English,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I saved for quite some time and worked hard to afford what I hoped would be a memorable, high-end getaway. Big disappointment and misleading reviews!!!!
