I had a wonderful stay at the Wilder Townhouse. It was a charming boutique hotel with a lot of character and warmth. From the moment I arrived, the staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. Their attention to detail really elevated the experience.||The turndown service was a lovely touch, and the breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I also really enjoyed the bar, which had a cozy, elegant vibe and served excellent cocktails. A special mention to the bartender, who was incredibly kind and even brought us a delightful assortment of treats with our drinks—a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made the evening feel extra special. The location is ideal too and was quiet yet central, with easy access to many of Dublin’s highlights.||I booked a small double room, which was stylish and clean, but definitely compact. There was no dresser or closet, and the shower was a bit tight, especially for anyone over 6 feet tall. That said, for a short stay, it was manageable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.||If you’re looking for a sophisticated, well-run hotel with exceptional service, the Wilder Townhouse is a great choice. Just consider booking a larger room if you’re staying more than a couple of nights!

Pros: So many! Staff was very helpful. Clara went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot Google Maps. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. My room had a nice big window and ceilings to make it feel open, even though it was small. Perfect for a single traveler. My bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had the best showers because of the rainfall shower head. It had good water pressure and I did not run out of hot water. Dining area was lovely, and the food was delicious. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, and walking distance to St. Stephen's Greens as well as other popular attractions.|Cons: The room was small, but it worked for me because I traveled solo. I had a large backpack and a carry-on luggage and it was a tight. If I had brought a large luggage, it would not have fit. I also wouldn't trust the security box.

Friendly and attentive front desk staff. Absolutely loved the breakfast. Such a quaint peaceful spot. Was happy we stayed away from the busy city center. Would stay again in a heartbeat if ever back in Dublin. Hidden gem. Loved our stay.

Wow wow wow-that a stunning boutique hotel. From the location, the details of the rooms, the food and drink service, and the staff, it all feels luxury. Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend and it was an absolutely delight; we relished returning to our hotel every day to rest and enjoy the room. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Dublin.

This is now my favourite hotel in Dublin. The historic building has been tastefully remodeled yet retains its unique character. They add sweet touches like complementary gourmet treats in the room and a turn-down service with a chocolate. The service was impeccable and the breakfast in the garden room adjacent to the patio was excellent. They definitely deserve their Michelin star!

Beautiful boutique hotel in great location, breakfast was lovely, very tasty, but the only reason I'm giving 4/5 is the staff.... there is a lack of training, bringing me a pot of tea, when I had no teacup, bringing toast but I had no plate or butter. There was one particular girl at breakfast who was quite rude and everything seemed like a hassle! We arrived the night before and went to the bar for a drink around 6pm and the floor in the bar (which is where breakfast is served) was covered in crumbs and really needed to be brushed. I mentioned this to the barman who told me it hadn't been cleaned since breakfast.... The management really need to train up the staff to the level of service you would expect from an otherwise really nice hotel. I would definitely stay again as I really liked the hotel....but seriously get some staff training.

I used my Hilton Honors points to book this stay, which came in handy given how pricey Dublin hotels were during my visit. The hotel is in a quieter part of the city, but within easy walking distance of some good restaurants and bars on Camden Street, as well as St Stephen’s Green. It’s a five minute walk to the Dublin Express airport bus, and there’s first-come, first-serve parking if you’re driving. The Charlemont Luas station is also about a 5 minute walk away.||I really liked the quirky room design and thoughtful extras like free chocolate in the minibar and a welcome gin and tonic. Bathroom products were nice and not the stuck-to-the-wall dispensers that are common now - they were environmentally friendly resealable packets, so you can still take them home as souvenirs if desired. Everything worked smoothly, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Yelp
Really lovely small hotel. Perfectly located, elegantly furnished and decorated. Rooms are cozy but very comfortable and quiet. Staff were also lovely. Breakfast was great and served in a comfortable and pleasant room. Walking distance to St. Stephen's Green, Grafton St. and many other sites in Dublin City. Definitely take a nice walk through St. Stephen's Green if you've not gone through it before. Highly recommend for pleasure or business travel.

Yelp
Absolutely loved staying at The Wilder. Peaceful and safe neighborhood, near canal with walking / biking path as well as gorgeous park at St. Stephen's Green. The rooms are truly "boutique" chic, very comfortable and spotless with complimentary Irish treats. We booked 4 rooms and each was charming and unique. The breakfast buffet is complimentary and really perfect, but you can upgrade to larger full meals which were also delicious. Easy 20-minute walk or light-rail ride to tourist area. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Yelp
Although we're only here for a short stay, my husband and I have been incredibly happy with our experience at the Wilder. The staff was incredibly helpful with accommodating our early luggage drop-off and allowing us to park at the hotel in the early morning the day of our check-in. The rooms are clean and the entire hotel is well decorated. The food was excellent and the location was the perfect base for our quick 24 hour stay while we explored Dublin.

Yelp
I don't write reviews very often but the experience at The Wilder was so amazing I felt it only right to share. My wife and I stayed here for six nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The staff at the Wilder made this the best trip we have ever taken. They made us feel like family from the moment we entered and went above and beyond the entire time we were there. I can't recommend the Wilder enough. It is the only hotel I will stay in when I am back in Dublin.

Yelp
Loved this boutique hotel! It's centrally located, close to St. Stephen's Green and the Grafton street shops and within a nice walk to the Liffey/Temple Bar areas. We stayed in the "popular double" room facing the parking area, which wasn't as noisy as I thought it might be, though you could definitely hear people walking on the gravel. The room itself is small, like Scandinavian hotel-small, but comfortable and whimsically appointed with quirky touches like animal portraits, etc. Oddly enough, the bathroom was on the larger end, and though I loved the idea of the glass door shower (also Scandinavian style), we ended up mopping water on the daily. The bar downstairs serves cocktails and light snacks . I would definitely recommend staying here as opposed to a hotel closer to the central area as it's quieter and less touristy.
