We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay in the San Jacinto room. It is a very spacious room with a comfortable sitting area. Very little drawer/storage space as there is no dresser, only an antique console (very classy, but not practical).|Room description stated "original bathroom," which had us a bit concerned. No need for concern. The bathroom was spacious, well maintained, and spotlessly clean with a modern walk-in shower.|The private outdoor entrance was very convenient. |I will add my note caution to that of others about the breakfast. There is only the set menu. No substitutions or additions. We enjoyed the breakfast but had to have certain items deleted. I would suggest that they at least display the next day's menu so you could make a decision in advance if you wanted the offered breakfast. Also, it would be hospitable to have a coffee/pastry set up earlier in the morning for us east coast folks who wake up very early. |Their website photos are very accurate. |Overall, we would return to the Willows and highly recommend it.

It was even more marvelous and impressive than described on the booking site. It’s a true jewel in the midst of downtown Palm Springs. It felt like being in a private Italian villa with only a few other guests. I was solo and felt fully at ease. They also treat you each evening to a glass of wine and delicious hors d’eouvres. The breakfast is fabulous. You feel like you are transported back to the 1950s with the service of 2025. The grounds are perfectly manicured and the rooms where you gather tastefully and authentically furnished. The staff makes you feel delightfully welcome. I will be back.

This is truly an experience! My husband and I stayed here at The Willows for his 75th birthday! It was as if we were in paradise. The rooms were period perfect for 1928 yet very up to date. It was surprisingly peaceful and serene. There are very few rooms so the privacy is huge and the noise is almost non existent. The sounds of birds chirping and trickling water is very common on the grounds. It was as if we were a guest at someone's luxury mansion. There is private and safe parking and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The 3-course complimentary breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area with the view of a stunning rock wall will a waterfall. The food was fantastic. There is also a complimentary wine and appetizer hour that is sensational! We will definitely be back again to this hidden gem! We loved it!!!!

The atmosphere was lovely and the location very convenient. The staff friendly but I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag. The linens and pillows are better at the Hampton Inn. And my particular room (the garden room) definitely needed a new bed. (My friend staying in a different room said the same thing) I had to ask for a blow dryer. Waters in the room are only replaced upon request, so you have to ask for more water every day. In my opinion, after staying at other hotels, such as this, the amenities are much better Breakfast was very tasty and a good size. Turn down service is basically a treat on your pillow and fresh towel towels. The hors d’oeuvres at happy hour are very simple. If you need anything between 10pm and 7am you are out of luck as they do not have a front desk. No food service (room service) available on site other than breakfast and snacks at happy hour

The Willows is tucked away on a quiet road that’s an easy five minute walk to all the action. The grounds were immaculate, and there’s a winding path that leads up the hill behind the property where you can look over part of Palm Springs. We enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. The whole place is like a huge mansion waiting to be explored. We stayed in the Cielito room which was on the upper floor and located in a quiet corner….highly recommend.||The downside was the breakfast. When making the online booking, it asks you to enter any dietary restrictions. I noted that one person was a vegetarian and the other person (me) was a vegetarian and also didn’t eat dairy. Unfortunately, it seems they don’t accommodate dietary restrictions; their approach is just to remove the things you can’t eat from the three course breakfast. For me, this meant I couldn’t have the second course (a muffin that contained dairy), and I couldn’t have part of the third course (bacon). So I got a 1.5 course meal that barely filled me up at all. At a place this nice and for the price, I expected that they would have provided alternatives. Why ask if you have dietary restrictions if there’s no intention to accommodate?||Also, the times for breakfast weren’t ideal for us. When we checked in on our first day, the lady who checked us in said that breakfast was from 8:30am - 10am. We eat breakfast much earlier than that, so the first morning we went elsewhere for our breakfast. We decided to ask if we could possibly have our breakfast earlier the next day, and they told us we could come at 8am, which was nice of them (quite a few others came early too), although it ended up being really disappointing (see paragraph above).

The Willows is a beautiful place: it was really peaceful sitting in the breakfast room, looking out at the desert landscaping and the little waterfall. It was neat to stay in the room where Einstein apparently slept when he visited.||The problem was that the air conditioning didn’t work in our room. It wasn’t even that hot outside in April — just in the 70’s — but our room didn’t cool down with the AC running, which made it hard to sleep at night. Even leaving a window open didn’t cool the room down. ||We mentioned the issue when we checked out, and the staff member said to us, “You broke it by setting the thermostat below 70 degrees. Real AC freezes up in a block of ice and stops working when you do that,” he said. Well, not the AC on our house, or in most other hotels we’ve stayed at. And if the AC here needs special handling, why not put a sign near the thermostat? ||Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. But, we won’t be back unless they redo their whole AC system. We also didn’t appreciate the reaction when we mentioned the issue; we just expected them to say they’d look into it, not that we broke it (lol).

I'm not sure i can come up with enough adjectives to describe how lovely our stay at the Willows was. We had the Rock room. A wonderfully large bathroom with tub and walk in shower. Our room has a nice view of the pool. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Welcome snacks and water to keep you hydrated! The breakfast is excellent with everything made fresh and served on fine china. Luxurious toiletries and robes. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful and willing to give advice and activities or make dinner reservations. Excellent location as we could walk to most of downtown

We've stayed here for the last five years in a row, with other couples, all attending the Tour de Palm Springs bike festival. The overall 'wow' factor is fading and those extra bits that justified the high price are no longer here. Examples: wine happy hour - it used to come with gourmet food bites/tapes, such as proscuitto wrapped asparagus, and warm quiche bites etc... Now basically nothing. First night was some nuts and cheese (no longer brought to you - just left on a sideboard). Second night was a flatbread pizza (also left on the sideboard). Another example: we arrived at the happy hour 10 mins early and were told the only way we could have a glass of wine now was to buy a bottle (our 3 couple group pays over $2,000/night to stay here - so $4,000 for the weekend) - this was really cheap and cheesy. We caved and bought the wine - red was essentially hot - stored in the kitchen clearly. Turn down service: nothing happens other than a 50/50 shot at getting a chocolate or cookie on your bed. Newspapers at breakfast - no longer offered. Coffee service pre-breakfast: tough to come by now - no set up to get coffee from. Snacks in rooms: getting smaller - used to have chocolate covered raisens, plus many other goodies - now a small bag of nuts and pretzels. Still no HBO or movie channel. The room we stayed in had the laundry machines across the hall. The room service team would leave the door open as they did laundry so the loud noises, beeping, and chatting / commotion all afternoon long in there makes it hard to rest in the room. While the location can't be beat, and it is a lovely building, one just senses its suffering from attempts at cost cutting rather than doubling down on being better. We'll likely look elsewhere next year now.

Yelp
A lovely hotel. The rooms are eclectic and interesting. The grounds are gorgeous and poolside is exactly where you'd want to be. I like that they have wine and appetizers at 5:30 each night. Their breakfasts are good and you can relax on the terrace.

Yelp
We just spent our 50th anniversary at the Willows. We had spent last year's anniversary at the Willows, and we enjoyed it so much we wanted to return. The Willows is a bucket list level place to enjoy, having so much history that it's almost hard to soak it all in. We were in the Rose room, and it was more than worth it. Thanks to Nicole, Grace and Mia for making our stay so great and so much fun.

Yelp
If you love historic hotels with beautiful attention to detail, this one is for you. In addition to the pool area, there are lots of peaceful spots to sit and take in the view. We were in the Acanthus room, which was quiet and comfortable with plenty of nice period touches. There is no check-in desk or room service, except for breakfast, but we were happy to breakfast on the upper terrace facing the mountain one day and in the dining room facing the waterfall the next, with tables beautifully set with linens. Breakfasts (included) were delicious, with fruit, muffins, and a main course, with pleasant service. In the evening, complementary wine and hors-d'oeuvres and a chance to chat with fellow guests. The Willows is on a tucked-away cul-de-sac, steps away from plenty of restaurants and shops and it is next to the Palm Springs Art Museum. One day we picked up lunch at On the Mark Fine Foods and Provisions around the corner and brought it back to the Inn and dined outside, as it gave us another opportunity to enjoy the heavenly setting. The Willows seems to be run efficiently with just a few staff. If you are after a club scene by the pool with loud music or if you want round-the-clock room service, this is not the place. Also be aware that there are steps to rooms and to the dining area and one should note the cancellation policy. The Inn is built against a rocky outcrop and there is a path you can climb to gain a staggering view of Palm Springs. We look forward to returning!

Yelp
This is where you stay if you want to keep it quiet without the noise of the Palm Springs crowd. Amazing view of the mountain and central location. The staff is generous and attentive to your needs. I love the luxury this place has to offer. I love the Old Hollywood feel.

Yelp
Just returned from one of my favorite spots for a quick getaway. You truly feel like you in another world at this historical property. Lovely staff , great breakfast and wine hour. The grounds are immaculate and private. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac walking distance great dining ( La Vallauris is 1 min walk ). Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Just under 30 mins from home, we frequently stay in the Palm Springs area for quick weekend getaways... found this hideaway on Expedia, unique, throwback, beautiful, and intimate... by far the best place I have yet to book a stay in the downtown area! The staff is amazing, there are no resort fees, the Rock Room (we stayed in) has an awesome two person bathtub... I am by far very impressed with this establishment and will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I just experienced the best weekend of my life. My boyfriend, (spoiler alert!!!) now fiancé, and I share the same birthday and have an affinity for Palm Springs. He whisked me away to the Willows for what I thought was a birthday weekend. Little did I know he had worked with Harmony and her team to plan to ultimate, dream engagement. Impeccably clean, Covid friendly accommodations, insane attention to detail, and unparalleled customer derive. 5 star experience across the board. Willows will forever hold the most special place on my heart and I am so grateful for their hospitality

Yelp
We booked 3 nights at over 800.00 an night, we were looking forward to excellent service and a wonderful stay at a beautiful property. The property is beautiful, quiet and a great location. Service was adequate to poor at best. The check in process was simple, we checked in around 430 after being on the road for a few hours. The attendant helped us with our bags and took us to our room which was beautiful. We asked him for a glass of wine, he said of course I'll bring you a bottle, we thought, great! And tipped him handsomely. That's the service we expected. 20 minutes go by and he did not return, so we venture out to explore the property. Now we were staying with another couple that arrived the day before. We make our way to the obvious dining area and we see a staff person, we ask if we can have a glass of wine, it's 455. She says "at 530", we are confused since we were just offered a bottle. So we go to a sitting area and I see the gentleman that checked us in and offered us wine initially. I asked what happened and he said "sorry, I forgot". Okay? but then he brought us two glasses of wine from where we were just told to wait till 530. Now it's 530 and we were sitting in the dining area and we were brought a plate of two deviled eggs and a small salad on one plate, I saw two forks on the plate and realized this is all they are bringing. Okay, we finish and head back to our room. My wife sees another staffer and ask "May we have another plate to take to our room?" She said "No, only one plate per room", that's it no other explanation. Okay? We asked for a refill of a glass of wine, when she came back she did say" I'm sorry the chef only makes enough for one plate per room, it's not a meal service". Our dinner reservations were at 8 pm, but come on 2 deviled eggs and a half cup of salad?! Jeez. Now when we were talking to our friends about our experience, they told us that they were given a tour of the property and explained how the services worked and what to expect. That would have been helpful if we were given the same attention, but no. Now we move to breakfast the next day, we called the night before and asked to have breakfast in our room at 9 am. At 920 in the morning no breakfast, we called and were told that we should have called again. In my opinion the appropriate response should have been, "yes sir we will bring it right up! ". Not making me feel as if I was in error. Now breakfast arrived which was waffle with bacon and eggs, very nice but no syrup for our waffles. I called and they said they will bring it up, 15 min passed, I finished my bacon and eggs, went out of my room to the kitchen (where what do I see but leftover deviled eggs and salad )and asked for syrup again and was told " they are bringing it", 5 minutes later, cold waffles and all, it arrived. That afternoon wine and horderves went fine. The next breakfast we had with our friends on the patio, it arrived complete. No good morning, how are doing? Just "where do I put it?" Wow! During breakfast talking with our friends about our experience, they told us how when their breakfast was brought, the staffer asked how there stay was? Were they enjoying the property, if there was anything else he could do to help? That made us realize that in our two days Nobody ever asked how our stay was, nobody, that's just poor service. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but the hotel evidently closes for the summer, it's was end of may, beginning of June. We decided we had enough of the poor service and asked if we could check out a day early to go to another hotel, this was at 1115 am. They told us okay, but we had to be out of the room by noon, there's that great service again. We were so over this place, we packed our stuff and left the room. They offered to hold our bags inside till we checked into our next hotel at 4. So we visited with our friends at the pool until then. Finally at the pool there was an attendant that made rounds every hour or so offering water and snacks. She said they were going to throw the snacks away anyway since they were closing tomorrow, lucky us we get the throw away snacks! Finally we we leaving, my wife went to ask for our bags to be taken to our car while I went to turn the AC on in the car (it's 101 degrees). She came to the car and told me the attendant said " I'm the only one here, I can't help you with your bags". Which were 4 bags located up 2 flights of stairs. This was the cherry on top of sad excuse for a luxury hotel stay. Maybe the staff were all looking forward to the summer off, we were supposed to stay another night and were told "I'm the only one here"?! How were they going to take care of the other guests they reassured me were staying the last night? We checked into the Rowan one block away and stayed In their spa suite, a gorgeous room with excellent service, stay there instead.

Yelp
The Willows is absolutely magical!! Hands down the best place we've stayed in Palm Springs. I had been planning on proposing to my girlfriend over our birthday weekend and the staff at the Willows could not have been more helpful and accommodating for our proposal. Harmony, Ben, Lorraine, and the entire staff at the Willows is second to none. Their professionalism, attention to detail and sincerity is unparalleled. The grounds are absolutely magical and every room has its own something special. You are missing out by not experiencing this incredible establishment if you stay elsewhere in Palm Springs. Not only the best place in Palm Springs, but one of the best places we've stayed in the world. Don't miss out!!

Yelp
This was my first time at this hotel and it's such an amazing hidden gem in Palm Springs! I grew up in the desert so it was nice to stay somewhere so beautiful and calming. My husband and I stayed in the Albert Einstein room, the room was absolutely amazing! Let me tell you the bed was absolutely comfortable; best night sleep ever I would recommend staying here a 10000000%

Yelp
We just got home from our 5th trip to Palm Springs and our 5th visit to the Willows. As always, it did not disappoint. The service is impeccable, the grounds are gorgeous and in full bloom, breakfast was delicious. The closest we've come to a similar experience in regards to a hotel has been in Italy. Best kept secret in Palm Springs, walking distance to the heart of town.

Yelp
This is without a doubt one of the finest lodging establishments in Palm Springs. My husband and I rent out home in the desert and so we try different places when we are there now. What makes the Willows so special is partly it's location and level of service, not to mention a stunning property with views! You have gated parking, a full gourmet breakfast daily by their outdoor waterfall and to top it off the wine and cheese hour is one of the absolute best we've been too. If they add afternoon tea - I would never leave! Every amenity and detail has been thought out for you, so you can just go and enjoy! it's intimate and small and perfect for couples. You have use of the pool and hot tub and you can hike the property with some amazing views of Palm Springs. You are just a block or two from the Palm and Indian Canyon Roads, close to Starbucks and the Coffee Bean (and my favorite Cielo is a manageable walk). Our favorite rooms are overlooking the pool area and are the most reasonable. If you are concerned with cost, don't be because they really deliver what you receive. Go and celebrate that romantic occasion! We will return.

Fantastic experience. We felt truly transported while staying here. The room was luxurious, the staff was attentive, and the breakfast was wonderful. We will be back.

Yelp
There is a reason this place is 5 stars! It's amazing. I love every detail of the place. Me and my husband went and it was definitely what we needed after a stressful year. We met some absolutely amazing people there and even are going to stay in touch with some! It was a great place for individual relaxing but also safe and nice connecting with others :) we actually stayed up all night talking with other guests over wine and it was so much fun. harmony was so nice when booking our stay, thank you harmony. The only thing was we ran into 2 people our first day that were not "the typical" guest, they came into the hot tub with us and were saying some crazy inappropriate things that I can't say on Yelp, the woman burping louder than a guy, big ole belly flopping out, makeup running down her face, eyelashes barely hanging on, extensions half out, falling onto my husband as she's falling over and can't stand, asking for drugs, then proceeded to try to make a move on my husband. I wanted to smack her crazy self right over the head but we just left as quick as possible. Totally craziness. It is not a party place, I don't think this would ever ever happen again to anyone. It is actually very quiet and serene. I never said anything to the workers, I know they would have handled it, we stayed away from them and it didn't damper our amazing weekend getaway. The pool and food is all sooo amazing!!!!! Breakfast by the waterfall is so perfect. This is our new spot and we cannot wait to go back!!!! The view at the top was perfect, we woke up early and caught it right in time for sunrise and were the only ones up there. Tip: book ur reservation for dinner on open table early about a week out or more at la valleruis. U can walk across the street and everyone else there was wishing they were able to get a reservation and we were lucky enough to get one! It's a fancy special meal, but it was totally worth and such a memorable experience. You won't be disappointed staying here!!!!

Yelp
Fantastic! The ambience, the room, the service and the food. I will make it a point to return!

Yelp
This is a lovely little inn screened from the street by some foliage and a large iron gate. Each room is individually furnished. We booked the Waterfall room which is bright and cheerful up a small flight of stairs. The dressers are vintage light bird's eye maple. The writing table is an old sewing machine with custom fitted glass top. An old sled bed was very comfortable. The fireplace works well, very good for my little cold:-P:-) The grounds are wonderful! It is vertical, going way up along a path on the rock face to the Donnelly House (registered historic building). The entire area is landscaped with lots of flowers even in winter. They have little rest stops along the way to sit down. The highest areas look east over the town towards distant mountains. .. great for viewing sunrise (pictures). Very nice included breakfast plus an evening wine tasting. This is a unique property with character, not a formula chain. Well worth the experience.

Yelp
I truly haven't felt this way since we departed for home after our honeymoon. This incredible, lovely, amazing place was nothing short of perfection. MAGIC. I mourned our departure. Big time. I miss the three-course gourmet breakfast that set us up for an energetic and blissful day. I miss the pool--where it only felt as though we were lounging at a friend's estate. The bougenvilla that dazzled as the mountain became its backdrop. I miss the quiet feeling one feels in wonderful seclusion--partnered with the relaxed knowledge that we were, in fact, in the heart of Palm Springs...and everything was a mere hop, skip & a jump away. I miss the lovely staff and management that knew our names and made us feel at home and most welcome. Everything was perfect and just right. From the lighting. To the linens. To the barely noticeable tunes that drew you in to a time long ago--of old Palm Springs and what it must have been like. MAGIC.

Yelp
This is a perfect short getaway from LA. Peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing! From the very moment we arrived, I was in awe! This property is even more beautiful in person. My husband and I stayed in the Loft which on the second floor in the main house. We snacked on the dried fruits and beverages that were stocked in our rooms! The bed was so comfortable! It was the best sleep I've had in a long time. In the morning we could see and hear the running waterfall from the window of our room- ahhhhhhhhhh. Breakfast is served between 8-10 in front of a tall beautiful waterfall with soft Frank Santra music in the background. Romantic? The 3 course breakfast was absolutely delicious - served fresh and hot! One of my favorite things about this property is that it has a little pathway you can hike up (part of their property surrounded by lavender and palm trees) to see the rest of the city. During the afternoon hours, the staff brought out a tray of decadent horderves (grapes, cheese, crackers, vege sticks with dips, shrimp cocktail, and your choice of wine). SOOOO YUMMY. We enjoyed this time meeting other guests (regulars) who schooled us on the history of this mansion (Albert Einstein stayed here as a regular guest, hence the Albert Einstein room and the library room. The Willows is conveniently located near the downtown strip. It is so close (2 blocks) that we didn't need to drive anywhere! The only downside is that this place is a bit pricey 300-600/night. But as Laura (previous reviewer) mentioned, everything is INCLUDED in the price - 24 hour house keeper, tuck you in and fluff your sheets at night, gourmet breakfast, horderves served a silver platter, 20000000 thread count sheets, and hassle free check in/check out - no papers to sign or show. So is it worth it? I CAN'T IMAGINE STAYING ANYWHERE ELSE in Palm Springs! LOVED IT!!

Yelp
This is one of those reviews that you'd want to actually take your time and read before booking to save yourself from a complete nightmare! This story belongs on the nonexistent show 'Hotel Nightmare' where Gordon Ramsey screams and yells in his loud British accent at incompetent business owners. Get comfy and read the horrible experience I had here: I booked my stay at the Willows for two nights for $1400 (crazy, right?). I arrived on a Friday evening and checked-in around 11pm. The place is so quaint and small that they don't even have a front desk to check you in, instead the person on staff checks you in within your bedroom by signing a guest registration card. I stayed in the loft room that they offer, which has a small door that opens into a stairwell that you have to take to get to the main part of your room. I get comfy, take a bath after a long and hectic day, and finally start to relax. I turn down and go to sleep shortly after midnight. Then things get weird, very weird. In complete darkness at 4 a.m. I am woken up by the noise of my door being fumbled with and opening. I thought I was dreaming. No way could it have been unlocked. I was staying there alone and I double checked to make sure it was locked before I went to sleep. The bed of the room faces the top of the staircase, and to my complete shock I see two black shadowed figures standing right in front of my bed. I start screaming thinking this is some sort of forced entry or robbery. No one called my room to wake me up and to approve of letting TWO STRANGERS into my room. I am shocked that the staff didn't even hear me screaming and come to the rescue after just letting two unapproved people into my room. What kind of establishment is this?! It was a very awkward situation and one I will never forget. Finally, I get up a few hours later and speak to the manager, Harmony. She is mortified by the story I am telling her. She tells me that she has worked there for 11 years as the manager and she has never had anything like this happen. I tell her I do not feel safe here and I am very much shaken up by the entire situation. She was as professional as she could have been and very empathetic, so I thought. She tells me that if I want I can gather my things and check out now, not using my last night, and she will refund me for my entire stay. I didn't even have to ask, she offered immediately. Great. Now that is some good customer service. I pack up as quickly as I can and get out of there. No other hotel had availabilities because it fell under the weekend of Coachella Festival. So now my entire weekend was ruined and I had to drive all the way back to LA, where I live. A few weeks go by and I am wondering why my credit card has not been refunded. I call and speak to Gordon who informs me that Harmony, the manager, is not in today but will be the following day. I call the following day and speak to Harmony. To my horror she tells me the owner of Willows Inn has rejected my refund and that she is resubmitting it to them to get it taken care of. She tells me she will be in contact with me by the end of the day. Well, a week passes and no sign from her. I call again the following week and am told that the owners once again have rejected my refund. I ask her what is to be done and how can I contact the owner to get this problem solved. I end up sending a very long, detailed email to the hotel's email and even have to threaten legal action to be done since I was verbally promised by the hotel manager for a full refund. Still no response from my email... I call again and speak to Harmony... she tells me that they cannot refund it due to the fact that I booked this room through booking.com and that I have to contact the website for the refund. So while at work I waste almost 45 minutes of my time to contact booking.com and the supervisor informs me that they have already been in contact with the business owner at Willows Inn and they are the ones refusing to give them the refund, which is why they cannot issue me a refund. Booking.com then tells me that they are not the entity that charges the customers booking, instead the hotels do. I check my credit card statement and see that it is actually the hotel that was the one that charged me! Why the runaround and why is the business owner and the manager LYING to me ??? I find it VERY odd and highly unprofessional. I am being swindled out of my money that they owe me (not a small amount at all) and the owner refuses to give me for their mistake and their manager's word. I will have to contact my lawyer, the Better Business Bureau, Palm Springs travel authority, the city of Palm Springs and more. This is not how a business should be run. Shame the owner is so greedy and cannot run a business properly. I tried to settle this quietly with them first before resorting to reviews, but the greed of this business owner needs to be known to other potential guests.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and expert service! The room was perfectly clean and breakfast was superb. This was my first visit, but I would definitely return. Close walking distance to Palm Springs attractions, gated parking. A very intimate hotel (B&B) that is very well run. Love it!

Yelp
Recently stayed at the Willows for 3 nights. We have been going there for almost 20 years and the experience was just as fantastic the last time as it was the first. Gordon, Harmony and crew are the best! Planning another trip for the new year. Dennis and Chris M.

Yelp
There are few experiences in life better than a stay at a really exceptional hotel. This is one of the very best. The rooms, the restaurant, the facilities, the setting are all first-rate. But as at any hotel, all features are only as good as the people who work there. And the owners and staff here do so much more than an exceptional job. They go the extra mile to make you feel as if you truly matter. If you have a chance - book a room here. You'll never regret it.

Yelp
This has to be the best inn in Palm Springs. We've been there a few times since it opened in 1996. The last time was last weekend. We stayed in the Marion Davies room. So gorgeous. View of the pool and South Palm Springs and the mountains. It's a pricey place but if you have the dollars, it's worth every cent. The grounds are beautiful. Hike up the hill behind the Willows and sit on the rock Einstein sat on and come up with a vision of something (something good, please). Walk to town; restaurants are blocks away. Right around the corner is the Palm Springs Museum of Art. Three course homemade breakfast. Can you tell I love the Willows. I will say, once you've been to the Willows, you'll be spoiled. You'll forever compare everywhere you stay afterward to the Willows and nowhere will be good enough.

Yelp
I came here for business few months ago and liked the surrounding so much that i booked a return trip to celebrate a special occasion with my spouse. I love the vintage furniture - nice touches all around, very charming. Lovely accessible hikes from property made my vacation/ my perfect combi: strike between a little luxury and fitness mixed in. Management remember me and totally spoil us. It is a little pricey compared to places in the neighborhood but for me, the good service and quality is worth it! Thank you!

Yelp
One of the best places to stay in Palm Springs. Great food and the beds are to die for. Harmony and her staff are hands down the most caring and on point. Breakfast is the best in the valley.

Yelp
I already loved Palm Springs enough... now I've found the perfect getaway spot. By chance I happened upon this historic, cozy, high end, luxurious inn - and after 3 nights I didn't want to leave. From beginning to end I was in awe of the grounds, the kindness of the staff, the amenities, and oh my goodness... the food! The three course breakfast is divine and the entire experience oozes luxury and comfort. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly situated, and the rooms are each unique, and fantastic. You won't want to leave the high thread count bedding, and the ridiculous mattresses. Another high point is that we were walking distance from the heart of Palm Springs and all that it has to offer, so you can park and explore without needing to drive everywhere. I also suggest the brief hike to gain a view of the PS vistas from the top of the waterfall. I could gush about this place all day, but it's one of those places you simply need to experience for yourself, I just hope it doesn't become ::too:: popular so we can't get reservations again. Big bonus points to anybody who surprises their significant other to a getaway here! :)

Yelp
This is my favorite Tuscany get away in PS. My husband and I were the only couple staying at the 8 rm villa. We had our own personal butler serving us wine and appetizers (included in price) as well as in the morning our own chef prepared us a 3 course breakfast as we sat next to the fireplace and listened to the waterfalls (also included in the price). I'm going to throw my 50th B-Day party there and by out the rooms, its like having your own Villa with a full time staff just for you and your guests. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Willows, thanks to the kindness of my 3 siblings and brother-in-law (it was a wedding gift). Staying at the Inn is more like staying in a friend of a (well-off) friend's family's home. There is no front desk, and it is a historic piece of property in Palm Springs that includes a pool and jacuzzi, hors d'oeuvres in the evening, and a 3-course breakfast. The room we stayed in (the Acanthus) was comfortable with a good-sized bathroom, although it wasn't quite as bright and spacious as it looks on the reservations page of the website. The Inn is located within walking distance to the center of town, which means we didn't have to take the car out at all. I am giving it 4 stars due to personal preferences. While it was a lovely place to stay and everyone is very friendly, it is definitely one of the more expensive choices for accommodation (perhaps why all the other guests were 30+ years our seniors)! If we were retired, had some extra $$ to spend, and/or were celebrating a special event, we would definitely consider staying here, again.

Yelp
We have found a new favorite get-away spot! My husband and I stayed at The Willows for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary and loved every minute. Everything from the luxury linens to the delicious breakfast is well thought out. The innkeepers do a wonderful job making you feel comfortable and relaxed...we never felt waited on, rather very well taken care of. It feels upscale but not at all pretentious. We stayed in the Acanthus room. Small but clean, cozy, and stocked with everything needed for total comfort. There are stairs that lead up the mountain through property's gardens that made for a great morning cardio session (up and down a few times will get the heart rate up) with amazing views. We spent our days by the pool that was the perfect temperature for cooling off without being too cold. Harmony checked on us throughout the afternoon and brought complimentary water, lemonade, and iced tea as needed. The evening receptions were fun! The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and substantial and our wine glasses were never empty. Perfect before a late dinner out. Speaking of dinner, The Willows is within walking distance to several restaurants (which is especially convenient after the wine.) There is a sense of tranquility that you don't usually experience in hotels or resorts. Most of the time we felt as though we were staying at a friends home estate. The grounds are private and secluded even though it is so close to the main strip. I could go on and on about all the little things that make this place special. Needless to say, we loved our stay and plan to return!

Yelp
Words cannot describe the Inn just beautiful and or the staff that works for them the most beautiful experience we have ever had. Thank you.

Yelp
Couldn't get in, this trip, but we got a personal tour from the manager. What an amazingly beautiful place! Hand-painted vaulted ceilings, and an open-air breakfast room cooled by it's own 50-ft waterfall.... You'll never want to leave! Check out the photos of the rooms on their website, each one luxury-appointed. One of the most lovely inns I've ever seen!

Yelp
Truly one of the most beautiful, cozy and inviting places we have ever stayed. Immediately upon arrival, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Our room was gorgeous and the location fantastic. The hotel is nestled into the mountainside but also walking distance to the main strip and trails. We loved meeting the other guests at the happy hour, brunch and pool side. Top-notch customer service throughout our entire stay. We can't wait to return.

Yelp
Worth every penny! It feels like you're staying with friends at a beautiful old mansion. Breakfast is delicious with gluten free options. Wine and apps every night at 5:30. Can't recommend this place enough.

Yelp
First time to Palm Springs and it was my moms 85th birthday so wanted to do it right and boy did we! They really spoiled my mom for her birthday. The staff is wonderful. We enjoyed the Marion Davies room. It was gorgeous and the bathroom is to die for!! The whole Inn is just incredible, like you are in an exclusive home all to yourself. The grounds and walks and views are wonderful. It is walking distance to everything, yet so quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were like slipping into butter. It is definitely worth it to stay here and I wouldn't even dream of staying any where else when in Palm Springs!!

Yelp
Cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel. We love the rooms, the location, the views, and the service. Don't miss the delicious breakfast served in the charming room with a giant fireplace and water feature.

Yelp
We could not have had a better, more relaxing retreat anywhere. The discreet hospitality of the professional staff was exceptional. A beautifully restored historic boutique inn, The Willows offers a quiet retreat within walking distance to all of downtown Palm Springs. An anniversary stay to remember. Great breakfast and coffee next to the waterfall. We recommend the Marion Davies suite!

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here (2 months later due to our crazy schedules) and I must say this is probably the first time I've considered making this into a yearly thing. I am a huge "been there done that" person who doesn't like to visit the same places, but the Willows is one of those places you don't want to leave. The staff is friendly and you don't really feel like you're at a hotel because the place only has a few rooms and that commercial feel is taken out of the equation. We booked two nights in the Einstein room and it did not disappoint. We. loved the complimentary snacks and water. The tub and bath salts were great. The patio was very cute and we found a hummingbird nest there. In the evening there is appetizer time and everything I tried was great. The breakfast is SO good. I am still dreaming about my warm muffins! The pool is kept at a nice temperature. Although I don't think they have a rule against having children as guests, we found that this place was mainly frequented by couples. I am already looking forward to going back here and it has only been 1 month since I visited! I selfishly don't want the word to get out about this place! They do room service with food from the restaurant across the street, which has amazing food! My only regret is not booking some in room massages!

Yelp
I can't tell you anything about this Inn or my fiancé will kill me. If he even knew I was writing this review he would use bodily force to stop me. He wants The Willows to remain our little secret, but I feel the desperate need to give credit where credit is due. I just couldn't even begin to - oh God he's coming!

Yelp
The Willows is a cozy inn tucked away on beautiful grounds up against a mountain overlooking town. The rooms are all unique and the inn is very private. It is across the street from Le Vallauris french restaurant so you can even get room service from there! The 3-course breakfast by the waterfall is a nice touch. The grounds are nicely coiffed a short hike will lead you to Einstein's bench.

Yelp
Historic gem in beautiful Palm Springs. The husband & I were blessed to stay because of a Living Social deal. Food was beautiful & oh-so yummy. The Loft room was perfect! Hope to return one day soon!

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! Location is close to shopping, great dining, etc. Staff was incredible and catered to our every need. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Fabulous inn, wonderful staff and service, great breakfast chef! A truly wonderful experience that we hope to enjoy many, many times in the future. This was our second NYE in a row at Willows; and we look forward to booking our third next year as well!

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated her one year anniversary of breast cancer survival, and our 25th wedding anniversary at The Willows because of the kindness of the owner who gifted us a wonderful stay there. I knew the owner because my company did some Internet marketing for this Inn. As we had built the website, I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. I was wrong. Our experience there really exceeded my expectations. I should have paid more attention to the 5 star reviews all over the Web about this place. The waterfall, the breakfasts, the cocktail hour, the location, the staff; there just isn't anything to not to love about this place. Based on our personal experience, I'd suggest that a stay at the Willows should be on everyone's bucket list!

Yelp
Jus returned from three days at The Willows. Not much more I can add to the other superlatives, other than to echo their sentiments about what a spectacular property this is. We stayed in the Einstein room with our own private courtyard. The linens and towels were decadent and the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with a claw tub. Although we were right off the lobby/livingroom, we never heard any other guests. The architecture and period furniture, along with the by-gone era music transported us back but in total luxury. The 3-course breakfast, feasted on while enjoying the rock waterfall, was absolutely delicious and the staff catered to our every need in such personable fashion (thanks, Rion!). While pricey, if in Palm Springs and you want a private, quiet, refined, secluded, decadent getaway, this is THE place!! Can't say enough. 5 stars PLUS!
