Everything about our visit to San Francisco and our stay at the Willows was outstanding. This is a beautiful, charming little bed and breakfast right in the center of the city. It is in a highly walkable and transit oriented neighborhood. They serve a delicious light breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and cereal. The staff was hospitable and caring. All around just one of the best trips we have ever taken.

This is a Charming little bed and breakfast, hidden at the intersection of Market, Church, and 14th Streets. It's barely visible from the street, a single orange door is the entrance. A long stairway leaves you up into the building, which has rooms on the second and third floor. It's a converted old hotel, but it's very clean and cozy. I stayed in a single room with a double bed, it just had a bed, sink, TV and closet. I just needed a place to crash for my stay so it was perfectly acceptable, clean and quiet. Showers and water closets are across the hall, all clean and nicely appointed. And breakfast is served in the kitchen every morning. A nice collection of granolas, fresh fruit, tea, and bread. When I called ahead to tell them that I might be arriving early, they assured me my room was already ready, and I felt very welcomed. Public transit is literally right outside the door. I highly recommend this place as a good spot to crash when you're visiting the city.

Unique, comfortable, conveniently located, and reasonably priced bed & breakfast (there are stairs, so not for the mobility impaired). The breakfast was very well thought out and appealing, with many vegan options, which was appreciated. Staff was pleasant and thoughtful. Definitely for bed & breakfast types of people and not sleek modern hotel types of people, and I mean that as a compliment.

I loved my stay at The Willows Inn. My colleague recommended it to me to stay there while attending a conference at the Moscone Center and it is exactly what I needed. Very close to public transit, quiet, comfortable, welcoming and away from the crowds. I had several excellent meals in the area (Woodhouse Fish co was across the street and delicious). It felt like I was staying with friends. The Inn itself was clean and I saw the staff go above and beyond for their guests. I’ll absolutely stay here again whether Im in San Fran for work or vacation.

For over 20 years, I’ve been a loyal Willows Inn guest. The inn is kept in a wonderfully clean state. The shared shower room and toilets are always clean. Breakfast is just right. Fruits, Yogurt, juice, cafe, and hard-boiled eggs. I can't think of staying anywhere else when in San Francisco. The Willows inn is near the BART stop; There is Safeway Market and many food choices. Easy to move around with a trolley or bart. I'm beyond happy, Mike; the Innkeeper has survived the 2020 lockdown. Thank you for being my SF home.

Mike was super friendly. The accommodations were tasteful, quirky and comfortable. It's got shared toilets and showers, which was no issue. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Yogurt and cereal were available 24 hours, which I found delightful. Mike: you may need to restock the little graham cracker cookies. I ate maybe half the jar... Sorry.

All good all around. Particularly the bed....really really really good bed. Had such a great sleep, and then pow, what a great neighborhood. Oh, and the breakfast was immaculately presented, with excellent options like fresh berries, killer coffee...lovely pastries....chatty folks from Germany and New Orleans...

Stayed at the WIllows Inn for 4 nights. I was in San Francisco for a conference. All of the city center hotels where either overbooked or ridiculously expensice. The Willows Inn was a great alternative, and it took me about 10-15 minutes to get to Moscone Center. The B&B is nice and clean, and the location was excellent with good access to public transportation. There are no ensuite bathrooms, but I never had to wait to get access to showers or toilets. The hosts were very helpful and nice. I'd stay there again.
