A magical stay in a truly unique place Kimolos is such a special little island, but what made our time here truly unforgettable was staying at The Windmill – a beautifully restored piece of history turned into the most charming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth. A special shoutout to Eleni, who met us at the port and instantly made us feel at home. She walked us through the island map, gave amazing local tips on where to eat and what to see, and was always full of positive energy. Her kindness and attentiveness really went above and beyond. Also a heartfelt thank you to Eukosmia, who greeted us each morning with the most delicious breakfasts and lovely early morning chats over coffee – the perfect start to our days. Thank you both (and the whole Aria Hotels team) for making our stay so special. The Windmill is a truly magical place – we hope to return one day.

This hotel stay was a unique experience due to its luxurious unusual location and breathtaking views. However, what made the stay exceptional was the sterling service provided by Giannis, the Regional Manager and his colleague Efkosmia.|Giannis was thoroughly professional in his duties while providing a laid back charm which is so in line with this destination.|Efkosmia provided some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and no request was too much for her.|Both staff worked hard to make this lovely destination a truly memorable experience. Thoroughly recommended.

We didn’t stay at the Windmill — we only came to Kimolos Breeze Café to enjoy a glass of wine. The view here is truly breathtaking, especially at sunset, with Poliegos on the horizon. Unfortunately, the pricing left us very disappointed. We ordered a plate of cheese and it was served just 3 pieces of local cheese for €17. To be honest, even in Mykonos you wouldn’t pay such a price for such a small portion. It felt completely overpriced and didn’t match the quality or quantity served.

We spent 3 nights in May in the Stroggylo room and we absolutely loved our stay! The room is very nicely decorated and has a wonderful large terrasse overlooking the hotel with fantastic views on the sea and the island. Giannis is really really nice and helpful, always available; he organised many things for us, really beyond expectations! The lady preparing breakfast was also very nice (and the breakfast itself also). The hotel is also very well located, close to the port and to the town center. We will definitely come back!

Amazing views, plenty of space and huge balcony where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was delightful and staff was lovely. There's a cat in the hotel, Alika, who is the sweetest cat ever! The hotel staff takes care of her. So, if you stay at The Windmill Kimolos, please be nice to her!!

Just very special. Thank you, Mila, especially and Valentina, for making our stay so comfortable. Breakfast is out of this world and included. The bed was so comfortable. Beautiful sheets. Attention to detail 10/10. Great to stay in a historic, restored building. Lots of history. Great views across the Choria, the port and the countryside. Walk down the hill to secluded, pebbly beach.

The best part of our stay was the lovely Demetra who served us a breakfast fit for a king - homemade cheese or spinach pie which was fantastic, fabulous omlettes made to order plus freshly squeezed orange juice and the usual croissants, cereals, etc. Breakfast was served in the adjacent Kimolo Breeze which doubled as a fantastic bar at night with panoramic views - thank you Yiannis for the Aperol spritz. The room was well equipped - nice bathroom, a fridge and a wonderfully comfortable mattress. A problem with the TV was sorted quickly and efficiently by the manager Panayiotis and Eleni who gave us the key to our room Apomero was friendly and helpful and went out of her way to tell us about the beaches and restaurants on Kimolos. All in all, a wonderful experience. Thank you team Aria.
