The Windsor Castle Leisure Hotel & Ayurvedic Resort

We stayed at the hotel for a night. The location is good and overall exterior ambience is good. It is apt for hosting events and photo shoots only. We booked cottage room with lake view initially. It was poorly maintained, very old and extremely dirty. There were plastic bottles and tissue papers lying outside. The room was very moldy as well. Toilet had so many dirty stains. I would never recommend anyone to book any room there because it was extremely unhygienic. We asked them to change the room and we got moved to the suite. The suite is located in the main building. The pathway to the suite is very dim lit with no proper ventilation. No cleaning or maintenance is done as well. The rooms again were very poorly maintained. I also requested for an extra bed, please checkout the picture of the bed i was given. I have posted some pictures and the rest can be understood through the pictures. Receptionists were not at all hospitable and very slow. I would never recommend anyone to book any room room at windsor castle hotel. For the prices we pay per room, it is extremely unfair that they provide such horrible services. Literally, my worst experience and would never stay there ever again.

Don't stay here. Most of these recent reviews must be fake. Toxic mold everywhere that will make you sick. Air conditioners are sprayed with super strong stuff to mask the stink in the rooms. Hot water for shower doesn't work. Staff doesn't care at all even if you complain. Buffet breakfast is a disaster. Not giving 1 star because the garden was good.

Booked a cottage on 31/12/2024 for day with family. Pathetic, Untidy room. floor was not dusted properly. wardrobes were uncleaned and full of dust. More over in bathroom used towels were found, not cleaned properly, foul smell in bathroom. intercom was not working and after complaining also they even didn't say sorry and charged Rs6000/-. poor service from the whole team. i would never recommend any type of service. i came for baptism function floors are very untidy and needed be polished and service lift were not provided and highly charged

The property is good for events. We stayed in one of the cottages which was poorly maintened. Food is average. The restroom stinks so is part of the lobby area. Property is scenic surrendered by water. Huge parking place.

We had a very disappointing stay at Windsor Castle (cottage stay). The cottages were poorly maintained – the first one had a dirty toilet seat and fungus on the roof, so we requested a change. The second cottage was only slightly better, with old furniture and uncomfortable bedding. Despite their website claiming complimentary breakfast for cottage stays, we were asked to pay for breakfast, which was really frustrating, especially since the food was below average. We booked this stay for my brother’s wedding, but when the photographers started taking pictures of the bride and groom, the staff demanded additional payment for the photoshoot. This was never informed beforehand and is completely unacceptable, given we were already paying for the stay. The staff was rude to both us and the photographers. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel on October 27, 2024, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. First off, the hallways have a horrible smell – you almost need to wear a mask to tolerate the stench. The room’s AC didn’t work, so the temperature was unbearable, and you might want to bring a small fan just to make it through the night. Breakfast was another letdown. There’s no buffet; you have to order from a limited menu, and everything – from the food to the coffee – arrived cold. Honestly, bringing your own microwave would be more effective. The towels were a joke. They were so covered in lint that if you use them, you’ll end up looking like Santa Claus! For the price of 5500, I expected way better service and amenities. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Extremely worn out extremely bad hotel. Tv doesn’t work, ac doesn’t go below 25, fan doesn’t work, curtains are broken, rooms and stairs in room are dusty. And if you think about complaining, their phone in the room doesn’t work. If you try calling their landline, they don’t pickup. I’ve not seen this kind of quality in a hotel anytime. Their service staff doesn’t know what quality of service is. Their buggy which can hold 3 people, they want to cramp 6 people in. When I refused to enter, they came back for 2 person and want to cramp our bags into it as well! Service quality, upkeep of property, room quality, everything is extremely bad! And the price point it comes at! Well! Avoid booking at any cost!
