Such an amazing evening!! Our coats were taken from us and put in to the cloakroom as soon as we walked in! We were seated and Summer was very attentive as to what we wanted, she was willing and able to inform us about the menu and answer any questions we had. We were able to take our time and did not feel rushed at any point! The food was great, the Sushi stack starter was amazing. I did find the rice with the Monkfish main a little bit sweet but the fish itself was cooked well and tasty!! The Scallop starter also ordered by a member of our party was also amazing! The carrots with the Beef Wellington main did unfortunately taste heavily of five spice, this was dealt with straight away by Summer, with other plain vegetables brought over to the table. Others may enjoy the taste, there was nothing bad about it, more of personal preference. We ordered a cocktail each to end the evening which were all fabulous!! A great experience!!

My 1st time at the Winehouse and what a delicious evening it was, sat in a cosy dimmed lighting restaurant, with the beautiful smell of a real log fire burning, a lovely quite atmosphere absolutely perfect for our date night! Our waitress Summer was a ray of sunshine full of smiles and happy to help, her choices on the food didn’t fail me either wonderful young lady! As for the food reasonable prices for mouth watering food, I highly recommend the short rib bon bons starter & the herb crusted rack of lamb main 😋

Afternoon tea special offer only £15 during November excellent value for money and very friendly service. Four different sandwiches freshly made and delicious cakes including scone with very tasty jam, too much to eat so kindly wrapped cakes left for us to take home. Only slight criticism is the tables are quite close together but this didn’t affect our enjoyment and we would definitely visit again.

Have recently been and couldn't have asked for more. The food, the staff and the atmosphere was wonderful. Very welcoming throughout. We went for their festive menu with cocktails included. There were no exclusions from the cocktail menu and they were made to a high standard. The food was tasty and presented with thought and care. The portions were perfect also. Would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be returning. All the staff couldn't do more, especially our table host Summer. She was professional and down to earth making the whole evening a pleasure. I didn't take photos of the food as that's not me 😁

A lovely restaurant with great service. We shared mussels to start and these were great. Just a tiny bit too salty but not so much to ruin them The main course was superb. We both had half a lobster which is priced per weight and not cheap but well worth it. Absolutely fantastic. We will be back

Absolutely fantastic Boxing Day Lunch. Food was beyond expectations and the service from Lucas was exemplary! He was exceptionally as a waiter. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so helpful. Well done and thank you for such a lovely lunch.

Visited on Thursday 30th October for a Tipsy lunch, oh my gosh what a wonderful experience. Such good value for money, the food is absolutely excellent and the cocktails are divine. We were served by the lovely Ella, who was polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for her. Can't wait to visit again!

It's been a while since I last reviewed The Winehouse and there have been some significant changes. The menu has changed as the taster menus have been removed. There are deals available based on how many courses you have and a lunch time deal. Whilst the food was well cooked, it appears to have lost its flavour. I tried the thai crab balls for my starter and I found them quite bland. However, my dining companion seemed to really enjoy their wyagu beefburger. The main course portions had increased in size and this is not always a good sign. I wouldn't order a mint tea again as it was served in a glass with no handle. In addition to this, it was a PG Tipps teabag which you wouldn't expect in this type of restaurant particularly when there are so many specialist tea companies to choose from. Whilst the customer service was good overall, the staff were not particularly attentive. It took some effort to get their attention to order more drinks despite being sat near their station by the kitchen. We were also given the bill instead of the after dinner drink that we ordered.
