As a huge Titanic historian, simply being in Titanic Hotel Belfast is enough to whack 5 stars on this review of the attached restaurant. The whole building (including the restaurant) is a museum in itself and well worth a walk around. Anyways, we had a lovely drink in Drawing Room 2 across the way before heading to The Wolff Grill for dinner. The menu was varied and interesting, the staff hugely attentive and the atmosphere amazing. We were sat next to the 'bollocking booth' which was in the middle of the working floor back in 1900. Look up where it's name came from! Don't expect a cheap feed. Prices are steep but totally worth it in my view. We had some prawns and duck spring rolls for starter. They were tremendous - especially the duck with the chilli, ginger and watermelon. Odd, but worked so well together. A lamb stew and massive burger followed. This was washed down with a bottle of merlot. No change out of £100 but for a rare treat whilst in Belfast, the home of Titanic and a visit to The Wolff Grill is definitely worth it. They also do a fabulous breakfast if you are staying at the hotel! @familydadventures

Not sure why the rating is so low? Very nice food and not overly priced. The seafood are fresh and well seasoned. The starter scampi prawn is simple but must try! Service is a bit slow but nice.

TLDR: Excellent food and great service, but need to be more attentive when you’re done your meal. I had dinner on my own, I showed up a few minutes late to allow for the 7pm rush to subside. I was offered my selection of 2-tops to choose from, and while I ducked away to the restroom pre-dinner, the staff had already brought my requested red wine and a carafe of water (which is enough for me to give a 5-star review, as there is nothing worse than waiting for someone to come around and refill your water) I ordered the duck spring rolls and seafood linguine, after a discussion with the lovely server who helped me choose between a few selections. Both were divine. Service was wonderful with various staff members checking on me throughout the meal, though not to the point that it was annoying. My only complaints (which, as dry humor is difficult to pick up in a review, are not actually complaints at all, just a further reflection of the great food and service) are: - I wish I had some bread to mop up the delicious sauce my linguine was served in - The sun was too bright on my table on this glorious Belfast evening (they rectified this immediately on another customer’s request 1 minute before I took this photo) Cannot say enough good things about this place, which could easily be a sub-par tourist trap, but is in fact, quite a lovely dining experience. Update: wrote the above all glowy from my delicious meal but have to dock a few points for the length of time I’ve sat (after confirming with the assistant manager that I didn’t need anything else) waiting for my bill. I know it’s very European to linger and rude to rush customers out, but since I’m by myself (and American) … I’d rather just go. This went on for long enough at the end where when they left one of my large wines off the bill, I toyed with not telling them because it would keep me here for an extra 10 minutes to fix - but I’m too honest for my own good.

Came here on Boxing Day. The positives; the steak was delicious. That’s where it ends. One of the children’s mains came out so late that 10 others had finished their main before it arrived. Had to ask on 3 occasions. The vegetables that accompanied the steaks were clearly pre-heated. The steak didn’t come with sauce on the side but drenched in it which was strange. I’d recommend coming to the bar in the hotel but wouldn’t be recommending the restaurant

Lovely setting and surroundings in some of the old Harland and Wolf buildings with lots of ship and titanic memorabilia. Servers were clearly interested in good service and allergy concerns and the general message was, let us know what you like and we will see what we can do which was great Unfortunately, even though they are classing themselves as an expensive fine dining experience they are not quite delivering on it all. From a coeliac perspective, despite a desire to provide options, there is no separate frier therefore no chips or other fried options available. I was not overly worried by the lack of a GF menu however was hoping for better guidance from staff. The GF breads were nice but not outstanding, the chicken and mash was very nice, and the garlic, chilli broccoli and peas was very nice. Only desert option available GF was a chocolate almond tart with raspberry which was ok but very very rich and overpowering. Really would have needed a little ice-cream or something to help cut it a little. Overall I was disappointed, by comparison Browns Bonds Hill in Derry is a similar restaurant targeting the same clientele and is of significantly higher quality of food and flexibility for GF customers. I would recommend you to visit but as much for the surroundings as the food. If you want a high end food experience go to Brown's Bond's Hill in Derry.

We had an amazing experience here. The food was excellent! I was so very happy with all of our meal. The chowder was fantastic and apple crumble was to die for! The service was second to none. All staff were very attentive and happy to cater to gluten intolerance. Can't recommend enough. An experience you won't be sorry to indulge in!

The entrance is via the Titanic Hotel which is in the historic building of Harland And Wolff drawing offices, the entrance is warm, luxurious and beautifully decorated, there is signage on your left as you enter the main lobby area for the bars and restaurants which are open to hotel guests as well as the public. The hotel and restaurant is directly opposite the Titanic Belfast Museum and slip ways where the famous white star ocean liners 'Titanic' and 'Olympic' were built. The museum will have its own review from me too, it's worth a look if I do say so myself haha. First of all, I was a lone female tourist and the staff were very welcoming and provided everything I needed, I was seated promptly and after a few minutes the waiter kindly asked what drink I would like to order and supplied some bread and water. The wine menu is extensive and there is something for everyone, I'm a white wine kind of girl usually but I opted for a nice sounding Italian Rosè called Sartori, Pinot Grigio Blush to start with. I was not disappointed it was smooth and beautifully fruity. I also ordered the Sierra Creek white Zinfandel Rosè from the USA which was not nice after the first sip. I ordered a raspberry vodka and lemonade as i go home tomorrow so I thought I'd push the boat out before it's back to reality and I need to be in mom mode again. Don't worry I haven't left them to fend for themselves they're at home with their dad, my lovely husband Jason. Anyway back to the review... For my food I ordered the lamb with whiskey blackberries and celeriac puree with buttered baby potatoes. The lamb was rare which is perfect, the plate looked beautiful and colourful with all the various elements. Everything on the plate with the lamb tasted incredible Unfortunately the baby potatoes didn't do it for me but that's a personal taste preference and nothing against the restaurant as they were lovely and fluffy. For my dessert, I ordered the creme brulèe with lemon curd, I'm unsure why but I was waiting around for quite a while while Mains and sides were flying out for other diner I was left waiting for around 20-30 minutes (the reason it's not 5* on the service) however, it was definitely worth the wait, the flavour was perfect and it was plated in a (I'm gonna say the word again) a beautiful way. My meal in total was £62.95 which I thought was very reasonable

A Taste of Belfast History at The Wolff Grill Nestled within the historic Titanic Hotel, The Wolff Grill offers a refined dining experience with breathtaking views of Belfast's iconic landmarks. The restaurant exudes an air of understated elegance, creating a perfect ambience for a special occasion or a memorable night out. On a recent visit, I opted for the classic Shepherd's Pie, and it was nothing short of divine. The tender lamb, slow-cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth with a rich and savoury flavour. The creamy mashed potato topping, golden brown and slightly crisp, provided a delightful contrast to the succulent lamb. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, a testament to the chef's culinary expertise. We also had Perfectly Cooked Fillet of steak. This fillet steak was cooked to a perfect medium. It boasted a beautifully seared exterior while remaining tender and juicy within.  The flavour was rich and satisfying, showcasing the quality of the cut.  A truly exceptional steak experience. The Wolff Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the delectable cuisine to the impeccable service and stunning views, every aspect is carefully curated to create a truly unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend The Wolff Grill to anyone seeking a taste of Belfast's culinary history.
