This hotel is very cozy and accommodating. They have a very nice open air lobby that sits by the restaurant and pool area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They have options for open windows or AC, which was nice. The staff are professional and efficient. The location was perfect in that it was between the pier and the town area. It was a quick walk to either. The town had great beach vibes with lots of surprises.

Small hotel with old world charm. Rooms are comfortable with a joined sitting room with 3 rooms on it and balcony. Perfect for families or couples Everything is made of wood. Feel like a lodge you could find in the woods. There is a small pool and restaurant. We only ate breakfast and was serviced by friendly staff. It was plentiful and delicious it is a 5 minute walk to beach and 15 minutes to the end of town.

We were a group of eight friends staying at the wooden house lodge for 4 nights and we had a great experience! Very warm and cosy and well situated, between the town and the port, you can do everything on foot. The rooms were clean, the food was good and the staff was attentive to our needs. We would recommend to anybody!

The Wooden House looks charming in photos. The location is pretty good- only a short walk to the pier and Concha several, and a 10 minute walk to town. The AC was nice and cold. Breakfasts were very good.||However, it needs improvements. Our first room was very small. There was barely room to store our bags. We found out that the toilet did not flush. Water was only going down in a trickle. We asked for a new room and we were upgraded to a spacious suite. It was fine until one night when it rained heavily. The roof leaked and our floor got wet in at least 4 spots. Maybe because of the issues we encountered, the manager was not very friendly. ||I later read that there are hotels near or on the beach that are nearly the same price that travelers may want to look into.

At the end of the road to a port. Convenient and quiet location. 3 min walk to a small bay with marine animals. Excellent service, flexible schedule for breakfast, and freshly cooked dinners on demand.

This is a mixed bag. Nice rooms, but can be 'buggy' (then again a cockroach is to be expected in these territories). Great breakfast, super expensive and not so great wine. Friendly service, but maybe trying a bit too hard. The swimming pool is there but really small. The interior of the hotel is nice and cozy but outside there's a bit of a mess. Location is practical: very close to the port and a short walk to town. Then again you are outside of the town and could opt for a place closer to/at the beach.

Beautiful hotel, clean comfortable rooms and delicious food. But what made this stay one of our favorites was the service. The manager/owner greeted us every time we came back from afternoon tours. They woke up at 5am to ensure breakfast before our departure. The kindness and generosity was above and beyond.

This was a very nice hotel set apart from the other hotels so it is quiet at night. Walking distance to the port and to town. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also tasty and of very good qualify. The only thing to be aware of is the mosquitos. We didn't have any problems on the other islands but had numerous bites on this island so make sure to bring repellent. Some of the rooms didn't have screens so mosquitos at night in the rooms were a problem. I recommend this hotel with that caveat.
