Yelp
This place is a combination of mushroom vendor, gift shop, and museum, relocated to this restored 1820 house that has been in the Phillips family all that time. They used to be on Baltimore Pike, but this is an unassuming spot labeled as "The Woodlands" with an understated sign on the road. Look for the red, white and blue OPEN flag swaying in the breeze at the top of the hill.
Inside is a warm, cozy store of little rooms with everything labeled mushroom - mugs, towels, aprons, everything. The entry way is where you will see the fresh mushroom frig with royal trumpets, creminis, maitakes, portobellos, and shiitake plus the usual buttons. They have an assortment of dried mushrooms as well but no wilds or exotics as a rule.
