Great place to stay- highly recommend! We stayed in their 2 bedroom cabin. Was lovely and clean, and you could read about the history of the cabin inside. Camp grounds and amenities well taken care of. The care takers were lovely and very accommodating. Had a look around the woolshed and grounds and our toddler loved it, great little animal nursery too. Will be back. Thanks again :D

Arrived to stay for 2 nights but ended up doubling that. We camping next to the creek which was nice. It holds fish but we didnt have any luck
Friendly and helpful caretakers
Kids loved the farm animals and lambs in the nursery.
Lucky enough to have the place just about empty so a very quiet stay
Great history and displays around the woolshed complex
Very clean and tidy facilities

We recently stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it even though it rained quite a bit.
The caretakers took time to explain everything and were very thorough. The grassed areas were well kept and the amenities very clean and tidy and obviously recently upgraded, very nice.
There is also a building under construction that looks like it will be an impressive kitchen area.
There was a fair number of powered sites and a huge number of unpowered sites. The unpowered site Calvert a huge area some marked out( up near toilets, showers etc) while there was basically find your own space down by the creek. Good options all round.
I imagine it could get very busy during the holidays etc but we went during the week so was nice and quiet. The fee appears high but includes unlimited visits ( between certain times of course) to the woodshed museum great way to spend a nice pleasant couple of hours.
