The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer

It had been a while since our last visit, and we weren’t sure if there would be seating for four on a Saturday night. Fortunately, we were seated right away! Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and quick to serve us. The burgers, as always, were fantastic, but the highlight of the evening was the Bang Bang Broccoli—it was absolutely delicious!

We got their 'Son of a Beech' burger; both their veggie patty and chicken breast burger options are great! Surprisingly, we prefer their weeds over the fries as a side, it is super fresh and tasty. Our favourite dressing/dips are the W sauce, Beechhouse, and Bacon roasted garlic aioli. We've also noticed that they package the takeout really well. While it is a bit on the pricier side for us, the quality and variety are higher than your average burger joint.

The food is good, lots of choices of burger type, bun and sides. The tower of rings is a fave with dipping sauce as an appetizer then specialty burger with fries or salad. We enjoyed our meals but I will say there were fruit flies buzzing about our table and we left promptly after seeing some unidentifiable type of bug crawl across our table :(

We arrived for dinner around 5:45 on Friday night and were seated right away. The greeter led us to the table, dropped the menus and walked away without a word. It took 10+ minutes for our server to say hello, she didn't seem to know that she was responsible for our table. We ordered drinks and when she returned with them, we ordered food. Only after this were we told it would be a 40 minute wait for our burgers. It would've been nice to know this before we were seated or ordered drinks as we would've gone somewhere else. Our burgers came in about 50 minutes. Meanwhile takeout orders were flying out the door. Overall, we were there for nearly an hour and a half. The food was good, hot, well-made and delicious. No complaints there! I don't think we'll return for a dine-in experience anytime soon.

I have not been to the works in a while and after the experience tonight. I believe it will a while before I go back. I will say that the food was great. The server was another story. Was seated and asked what I wanted to order and I responded with you just sat me . Will have to look to see asked for a pop. She came back with my pop and said are you ready yet, I responded no. She came back and took my order. When I about 1/2 way done eating, she returned and asked if I wanted my bill. I responded and said I'm still eating. Overall the service provided was really bad and I was not the only table having issues with her. Unhappy customer 😑

I had “weeds” salad, and it exceeded expectations, portion size is to feed to 2 adults, impressive! Or maybe 3 not very hungry ones :) the grilled chicken was perfect: juicy, just the right tenderness, fantastic! And yes, the second part of the salad will be my dinner for tonight ;) thanks ;)

Poor service. They wouldn't swap grilled chicken breast for fried chicken for deliveries or do any order customizations. Fries tasted like they were refried a 100 times and were still soggy. I can guarantee that someone can get food poisoning from eating here. the burgers tasted stale. not the quality or the service i'd expect from The WORKS.

There is always a reason to come back, the food there is absolutely delicious. We will never be tired of the rings and fries, all burgers are heavenly made and I do recommend this place to anyone looking for a burger joint with quality food.
