The Workshop Coffee

Awesome coffee place in HCMC, if you are into speciality coffee. Staff take their coffee seriously. They give great recommendations and show their different brewing methods and utensils. The place itself is on the 3rd floor, industrial design and nice decor. Loved it so much that we took a 20min walk just to come back here for a nice V60. Got beans, too.

☕ The Workshop has a cool industrial-style interior with spacious seating and plenty of natural light. The bar is lined with coffee equipment, creating a professional vibe — a great spot for coffee lovers. This is my third visit, and the food and drinks are still up to standard: • Pour-over coffee: aromatic, smooth, and beautifully presented. • Omelette with toast & salad: fluffy, tasty, and just the right portion. • Croissant: crisp, buttery, and perfect with jam and butter. The only downside is that the staff don’t seem very welcoming — a warmer smile and friendliness would make the experience even better. Overall, still a great place to enjoy coffee, breakfast, or brunch. 🌟

great cafe on the 3rd or 4th floor (can't remember which exactly). they seat you and present the menu for you to select from. the prices are a little higher, though they take their coffee seriously so it's definitely for those with a high appreciation of coffee. everything we had there was delicious! my sister-in-law isn't a coffee person but loves tiramisu and loved theirs. they have a restroom on the same floor, outside of the cafe.

One of the most recommended specialty coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh called @theworkshopcoffee, established since 2014 and located in the bustling Bến Nghé area. Located on the second floor of an old 1912 building, the classic vintage ambience feels very strong because many architectural elements are very well maintained. High ceilings with many window openings from various directions create good natural lighting, causing a warm, comfy and welcoming space. Various coffee menus are served here and the ones I recommend most are classic coffee and manual brew with various of the best coffee beans from various origins.

Really nice hipster industrial cafe that does great food too. Went there for breakfast on a sunday, was quite busy but not smashed, there were places to sit. Entrance is hard to spot and you have to climb ancient Parisian-style staircase to 2nd floor - all the better if you ask me. Had flat white, full english breakfast, and omlette. Foor is large portions and delicious, coffee smooth and mild - overall the experience was very much like Australia. So, why only 4 stars? Because the staff are super arsey. I made a big effort and managed to extract a thin smile but that's about it. They aren't rude, but they aren't polite either. Would I go back, for sure, still a great place right in District 1.

Workshop Coffee in Ho Chi Minh City is one of those places that stands out for its cool, industrial-chic vibe. It’s always lively and full of energy, popular with Chinese tourists and expats alike. Their coffee is excellent, and although the food menu is quite limited, everything I’ve tried has been tasty. The only downsides for me are that the entrance is a bit hidden—you have to go up a flight of stairs to find it—and it can get really crowded and noisy during busy hours. Also, I personally find the chairs quite uncomfortable, which makes it hard to sit for long.

Definitely the place where to have nice food and where to work at a laptop. They're built for that, there are plugs everywhere and the wifi is strong. The staff will not bother you, but it's good habit to order something every hour at least, and tip the staff appropriately. The food is good, big, and vote expensive. Good quality place.

It's a quite hidden kind of cafe if you don't really notice the signboard. It's kinda cute though. The variety of coffee served here are really special and are so good. Tried their nutty cremina and salted iced coffee, and I can say the salted iced coffee is a must try! Panna cotta gives off a very balanced taste and it's really good.
