The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had our own ensuite .|there is nothing fancy about the wright lodge as all it is , is a place to sleep for the night and have a shower in the morning. It was HOT!! in Adelade when we got there, thank fully the a/c had been switched on for us... down the hall was a small kitchen with a microwave and a electric kettle, so at least we could have a cuppa in our room. |I will give it 7 out of 10. as the window was very dirty and the ceiling tiles had water marks on them. The front of the building could do with some cleaning up.

The air-con is useless. I can not control the temperature and my room always hot and dry. When you open the window there are no wind or anything. The only way for me to surive is to look for somewhere have air-con and stay there till mid-night. The service is bad or can say as no service. Since he let you check in than no more service for me. Even I want a curtain in my room, there are no respon from them. Dont have to mention no light in bathroom. But that just a small problem compare to other things. The wifi is bad but what you expect for this price. If you plan to stay most of your day in the room. I am very suggest you look for another place. I am very upset about the air-con and missing of curtain in my room.

The only positive is the location. The rooms are tiny, the lack of hygiene in the rooms especially the kitchen is disgusting unable to safely use any of the appliances in the kitchen. Would never pass health and safety standards. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND A COMPLETE DUMP. I will upload photos

Pleased to find this Lodge as hotels are expensive in SA. Adelaide ? Nice place to visit for a couple of days......that's it ! Frankly, the city seems barely open for business. The people are NOT friendly and you did NOT even suffer months of covid lockdowns ! MUCH better shopping options and budget meals in Newcastle & the Hunter region.

I stayed in an upstairs room with a balcony for four days and could not have been happier with the experience. The room was spacious and even though the temperatures were really hot did not use the air conditioning much because of the nice breezes. The rooms are quite old but are very clean and comfortable. Was nice to have a decent sized fridge and they supplied plates, bowls and cutlery with a microwave and toaster out in the hall. It meant it was pretty easy to self cater. Even though the price is really low it was good to have an ensuite. The hot water was a bit slow coming through but was good once it flowed. It is well situated out the back of the Market and Chinatown. The staff were unreal being really helpful including letting me have a shower in the afternoon I checked out. Unbeatable value for the price if you can accept it is not new or refurbished.

Electricity, water and internet was free so the price is unbeatable for a single bedroom and private bathroom. The room is what you'd expect for the price, however I gave 5 stars because of my experience with the very friendly staff and owner. Unlike most landlords any issues I had were resolved almost immediately, they were very easy going and hassle free from start to finish.

The accommodation is a little dated but has all we needed. The room looked clean with an attached bathroom. The air-conditioning and uncapped Internet connection were fantastic. Their friendly staff showed us where are the attractions of which many are walking distance away thanks to its close approximity to the city centre and the Chinatown. Overall, a value for money budget hotel.

Convenient location and reasonable pricing. Just average facilities, but better than "cheap & nasty". My room had a window but no view. I never saw any staff during the six days I stayed. Entry instructions were taped to the shop window next door! Recommended to those who are ok with "backpacker" type accommodation.
