The Xcape River Kwai

Stayed at The Xcape River Kwai and it honestly impressed me in so many ways. When I arrived with my car, the staff immediately asked if I was staying there and guided me to the parking slot. They even had a golf cart ready to send me to the reception for check-in, and whenever I returned with my car, they offered to pick me up again so I wouldn’t have to walk. Check-in was smooth and easy. The view of the river surrounded by greenery was epic, and the room was huge, spacious, relatively clean, and very peaceful. The bed was super comfy—both me and my partner slept really well. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying, a great way to start the morning by the river. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay, and I would definitely come back to this accommodation again if I visit Kanchanaburi.

The hotel is right by the river, and every room faces a beautiful, peaceful view. There’s kayaking on calm water — not too fast, easy to paddle, and perfect for relaxing photos. It’s great for both couples and families. There’s also a small board game room where you can spend cozy time with friends or loved ones, which makes the stay even more fun.||Breakfast is definitely a highlight. It’s an à la carte buffet, so you can order as much as you like. Every dish was tasty, and having sparkling wine in the morning made it feel extra special.||Overall, this place has everything — fun activities, stunning river views, a chill atmosphere, and delicious food. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in Kanchanaburi, this is highly recommended. We’ve been here several times, and it’s always a wonderful experience.

Super great hotel. Breakfast is nice... Can be improved though. Had some issue at checkout with a bitter worker that treated us like we want to steal from the hotel... But quickly resolved with the nice manger. Overall would definitely recommend staying here for a high end stay.

We stayed here 3 nights and have to say how brilliant all the staff were. They even helped us change our booking because we were unwell in Bangkok and had to come a few days later than planned.|Excellent quality of food using fresh local ingredients. Our room was right on the river with powerful air conditioning which was needed in the very hot weather. They arranged trips with their preferred partners at very very reasonable rates, in a nice SUV. They complimentary sparkling wine at breakfast which was unexpected and a nice touch to enjoy while overlooking the river. Highly recommended and we will certainly miss it. My wife and I had a spectacular time at Cross River! I want to first highlight the staff who were truly some of the nicest people we have ever met. Very attentive to all of our needs, they even advocated to our tours to come pick us up directly instead of at the bus station. Upon check out they saw us wheeling our own bags and ran down the hill to greet us and take our bags. That’s how much they care!||The property is stunning and almost better in person than advertised - industrial and elegant, right on the river. All of the facilities were well kept, rooms were incredible, and the beds were very comfy. We stayed in the X-Float Luxe Cabin which was spacious with a large bathroom, nice balcony/deck, and an upstairs couch to enjoy the views. We had a personal kayak that was fun to take out in the morning as well. Waking up on the river to a gorgeous sunrise will be something we will never forget!||The food was great, had a huge variety of food including local Thai dishes as well as western meals too. We stuck with the local Thai dishes! Cocktails, coffee and tea were all wonderful. ||The spa was a lovely experience too with a variety of massage / treatment options!||There isn’t anything bad we could say about this place and would definitely return another time! Well-designed property with beautiful landscaping and delicious food. My only complaint is the water system—maintenance is needed for the showers, and better temperature control would improve the experience.

This is my second time stay at this wonderful resort. I chose two bedroom pool villa and we love it. We’ll definitely come back again ❤️😊 We forgot something and the resort contacted us and shipped it to us without any cost. Thank you so much 🙏
