Stayed for 5 nights, wish I had booked 5 more. Nice quaint small hotel locally run, I found the staff all friendly and helpful. bar on ground floor, breakfast / restaurant on 1st floor, and rooms on the 3 floors above. Because of age and design of building - dates from the 19th century there is no lift, but help is on hand if needed with a suitcase. My room was facing the sea with great views of the harbour, castle Cornet and the islands of Herm and Sark. You can pay one day visits to both. TV, tea/coffee, iron and board, wifi, sofa, loads of cupboard and hanging space. Nice roomy shower. Huge King size bed (if not bigger) and a great nights sleep. All windows are double glazed, front are sash windows, the bottom only opens about 6 inches (H&S) and the top opens down to the half if need be.||Breakfast is included, option of a continental style and/or full English. Fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereal, jams (marmite!!! love it) Two large French windows open out of the breakfast room, great views when having breakfast. All the full breakfasts are cooked to order, bacon nice and brown as was the sausages. Mushroom omelettes were just spot on, loved them.||This is a small hotel and the staff work hard to get everything done, personally I can't thank them enough, as I said before, happy, chatty and helpful.||castle Cornet 15 mins slow walk, bus terminus 1 min slow walk - just across the road in fact. All the shops, restaurants , bars, clubs, ATM/banks cafes, tourist information are all within 5 minutes walk depending on what you want. Plenty of museums, galleries etc are also within a short walk.
