The Yacht Inn overlooks the harbour and Castle Cornet. The view is breathtaking. Our room was on the second floor: a lot of narrow stairs to negotiate with our cases. Breakfast was well cooked and the portions were very generous. I have never had so much smoked salmon in my life! ||||Our room was comfortable but there were tweaks needed e.g. loose tile in the bathroom, tea coffee not replenished daily as it should have been, etc. We had to go down to the bar for fresh milk which was willingly supplied but that should not have been necessary.

Stayed for 5 nights, wish I had booked 5 more. Nice quaint small hotel locally run, I found the staff all friendly and helpful. bar on ground floor, breakfast / restaurant on 1st floor, and rooms on the 3 floors above. Because of age and design of building - dates from the 19th century there is no lift, but help is on hand if needed with a suitcase. My room was facing the sea with great views of the harbour, castle Cornet and the islands of Herm and Sark. You can pay one day visits to both. TV, tea/coffee, iron and board, wifi, sofa, loads of cupboard and hanging space. Nice roomy shower. Huge King size bed (if not bigger) and a great nights sleep. All windows are double glazed, front are sash windows, the bottom only opens about 6 inches (H&S) and the top opens down to the half if need be.||Breakfast is included, option of a continental style and/or full English. Fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereal, jams (marmite!!! love it) Two large French windows open out of the breakfast room, great views when having breakfast. All the full breakfasts are cooked to order, bacon nice and brown as was the sausages. Mushroom omelettes were just spot on, loved them.||This is a small hotel and the staff work hard to get everything done, personally I can't thank them enough, as I said before, happy, chatty and helpful.||castle Cornet 15 mins slow walk, bus terminus 1 min slow walk - just across the road in fact. All the shops, restaurants , bars, clubs, ATM/banks cafes, tourist information are all within 5 minutes walk depending on what you want. Plenty of museums, galleries etc are also within a short walk.

Freezing Cold room, no heating. Bad drain smell to room. Poor customer service, no reply to our issues at all. Hotel staff never on site to raise issues. Dirty room, the bathroom cabinets were filthy. Old toothpaste marks in cupboards and on mirrors, unwiped mirrors, dirty bin in the bathroom. Faulty side lamp which flickered during the night. Dirty stained carpet, Old receipts and sweet wrappers in the side cabinet drawers from the month before, not been cleaned. Broken Headboard. Definetly NOT worth the money of £83 a night, i have stayed at much nicer cleaner accommodation at less than half this price. Overpriced, cold, dirty and no reply to my issues, rude!

Just come back from visiting family in Guernsey for a long weekend, we chose to stay at the Yacht because of location right by the habour in st Peter Port. ||||The positive part of our stay here was the hotel is in a very good location, with a great view that pretty much summed up the positives of our stay. The breakfast was pretty good however you often had to wait 15-20mins to be asked about taking your order then another 15-20mins to recieve the food this was due to the fact there was only 1 staff member takimg food & drink orders! ||||The negatives are mainly focused around the room. We stayed Friday - Monday of which every night they played music outside our bedroom window until 1am this wouldnt of been as much of a problem if the room wasnt boiling hot so we had to leave the windows open to keep cool-ish. ||||The worst part of the room was the bed. Its the worst hotel bed ive ever slept in, both myself and parter thought it was like sleeping on an ironing board. The pillows were wafer thin and uncomfortable and my bed was damaged (a huge dip in the middle)||||The shower tray did not drain properly so water overflowed onto the floor most days. ||||The staff/manager were very unhelpful and there was almost zero customer service throughout our whole stay. ||||The hotel needs a full refurb and some new helpful friendly staff.||||The hotel doesnt serve food during the day only breakfast it can only realistically be rated as a 2star which for the money is very over priced.||||Unfortunatley wont be staying here again.

Great value for money and in a perfect location, it's directly adjacent to the bus terminus which made it handy when arriving from the airport and easy for getting around the island. The room was a good size as was the bed, which was very comfortable. We didn't pay for breakfast as we like to eat out when we were away, there were plenty of options a short stroll away.

Note that if booking on booking.com app the yacht Inn have no recollection of. My messages even though they have replied. Asked for 2 single beds rather than a double and this was agreed a year before our trip. We arrived and no single beds, they did however find another room for the next night. They told us our teenage kids would have to move again on the last night to a room with a double bed. We didn’t want to move them again as the mix up was not our fault so we decided to leave a day earlier we were refunded our last night.||The staff were just not very warm & friendly it felt like it was too much trouble. Rooms had amazing view but in desperate need of painting & new fittings. Breakfast was lovely. Had trouble parking outside there is no allocated parking for guests.||There was noise outside from the pub also swearing from people drinking which wasn’t nice at all.||Overall destination was outstanding hotel very basic, would have been nice if staff were a bit more friendly (this is not all of them, the ladies that changes the bedding & towels were lovely, also a few breakfast staff were lovely as well) ||A nice break on sea front, I would not return to this hotel but Definitely would go back to location.||Thank you to the lovely dark haired lady that was so helpful x

Very reasonably priced pub, hotel situated in St Helier sea front. The rooms are of a good size, breakfast is great. The pub has a pool table. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here and it doesn't break the bank as the costs are very reasonable.

We decided to book the Inn for its location in St peter port. The location itself is very good.||Prior to arriving I sent an email stating we would be arriving on an early flight I had no replie to this.||On our arrival we were met by the bar man I think he was the only member of staff apart from the so called Cook. I won't call him a cheif.||We were informed there was no booking before 1600hrs this we were aware of. On return I was asked to pay my bill(a very strange arrangement) this I did.||We were show to a very nice sea view room and I will say the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean.||The bathroom shower only provided tepid water, empty product dispensers, dirty towel left behind the door and a loose toilet seat. ||The house keeping standards were of a poor standard but we did get our bed made. ||As for the breakfast my husbands was inedible and smelt like an over used chip pan. The bar man served breakfast he had a skin condition on his arms I think he should have been wearing long sleeves in this situation or don't food hygiene regulations applie in this situation. ||On the bright side of things the coffee was good at breakfast and we did have a view.||We were lucky as we were able to get out and about and enjoyed lovely meals out.||This establishment is run on a shoe string they need better staffing levels.
