"In the heart of the Theater District, Forno is a pre-show standout. Those that visit this modern Italian eatery and wine bar sans play, however, are treated to an equally fun experience. Forno offers a comfortable, rustic space where the vibe is cool, the staff is warm and the pours are heavy. Come for the happy hour specials, stay for the handmade pastas and pizzas. Whether or not you go on to see a show, a stop here can be the highlight of your night." - Exit10

The yard had a cool atmosphere. MRS. KEAYANNA assisted us with deciding if to eat at the location and was very welcoming MRS. DEBBIE helped us with our food and drinks. Great customer service from her Thank you again MRS DEBBIE

Google
The food was absolutely terrible. Everything was over cooked, including the fries. We ended up getting two orders of fries, Caesar salad, BBQ wings, chicken tenders & a glass of Prosecco and I ended up paying 45.91 for food I didn’t like or eat. At least they took the salad & fries off my receipt. Also, the menu online wasn’t the menu and prices we got at the restaurant. Not many options.

Had a great meal after getting in late from a day of travel. The service was great! And so was the food.

Google
It was my first time trying this spot. The servers were super attentive, professional, and welcoming. My brussel sprouts were oh so yummy. They had an ok looking buffet for lunch, but I wasn't super hungry. Less one star for me fighting off the gnats as I tried to eat. Other than that, I'd try it again.

I had two bad experiences here. 1) I came in around 9:30. Saw someone at the bar I knew. Talked for a minute. There were several people in line to be seated. They seated the two parties in front of me, then told me that the kitchen was closed (it was not 10 yet). Never mind the fact that they sat the two people right in front of me. He said the pizza place was open, but they don't serve beer. So we went to the bar to get a beer (that took 10 min) then by the time we walked across to the pizza place they were also "closed" - making pizzas right in front of us. Absolutely no care for the customer. Terrible, not Marriott quality. Then in the morning 2) we ordered breakfast and had to practically bend over backward to get our coffee cups filled. Really too bad.

Google
Beer prices are a little high. Food prices are way off the mark for the quality. Bland bland and bland. Nachos were flavorless. Calamari was forgettable. And you have to beg for a seat. Go to the liquor store across the street. Our server really didn't want to be there, and it showed.

Google
The menu selection wasnt large but the food was very good. They checked on us often to make sure everything was ok. I will be back !!

Came to the Yard on their grand opening a few hours before the O's game. I loved my food but the drunken oysters, coddies, and seafood pasta stole the show for me. As far as drinks go I loved the El Jefe and the Only Fans. Shante was great and offered up fun and convo in bustling environment. I absolutely recommend to come before an O's game or just a place to chill and grab dinner.

Yelp
Was in town for a conference. The food was fantastic! The wait staff even better. Great conversation and hospitality. I did encounter a problem though. I ordered breakfast via the hotel's app the night before...AND IT NEVER SHOWED UP! I talked to the waitstaff and they were going to report it...to no avail. It was still on my hotel bill. I expected a credit. The staff did make up for it with crab cakes, but I still shouldn't have been charged. Don't have the energy to fight this. I'm subtracting a star because of the issue.

Yelp
This restaurant appears to be significantly understaffed with regard to food preparation, at least part of the time. On July 4th, a group of 6 of us went there in the afternoon, two hours in advance of an evening event. We assumed that a relatively order of drinks, burgers, and salads, no appetizers, would come out relatively quickly. There were only about 6 other customers in the restaurant. It took close to 75 minutes for all of our meals to arrive, and this was about 15 minutes after our server told us our meals would be "right out." Other smaller groups who arrived very shortly after we did had not yet received their meals even after we quickly wolfed down ours. As we were leaving, we noted that one acquaintance, who had arrived 30 minutes before our departure, had still not been greeted by anyone since having been seated. I hope this is not a persistent problem, but it was, for me, an unacceptable experience.

Yelp
The Yard inside the Marriott Inner Harbor has a new happy hour. The 5 oz. Crab Cake with an Orange Crush was superb. It gets you ready for baseball season. The hotel-restaurant is steps away from The Charm'tastic Mile & Orioles Park at Camden Yards.

Yelp
Easily the worst beer purchasing experience I've ever had. Tried to buy a beer on draft and was directed to their "beer wall" that had 4 beers on it. We then had to buy a preloaded card to scan at the wall to get self-serve beer. It took about 10 minutes to get the card, and then another minute or two to pour the beer since the machine was being finicky. The beer was excellent, but would have tasted exactly the same from a traditional tap. Tried to get a refill, and the cards didn't work, so we told the bartender who had to get the manager to reset the system to get our beer. Gave up after 2 beers, so the total came to $15/pint since the cards were prepaid. If I can convince one person to not waste their money on this gimmick beer wall, my life will have purpose.

Yelp
We had a reservation at 6:00 and arrived at 6:01 just to be told we would have to wait 10 minutes for a table. A half an hour later, we asked again and were told they have more reservations available online than they do seats. Maybe fix that or don't take reservations? They have to know that people going to the Hippodrome, right down the street cannot accommodate delays, which is why someone would make a reservation. Worst yet, they didn't apologize or even act concerned that we were inconvenienced.

Yelp
5 Stars for Cream of Crab Soup!!! Staying here and not happy with accommodations but too cold to go out after a 5am start to my day. This soup was AMAZING!!! Won't stay at hotel again but will return for the soup! News flash just saw wings I may have to stay inside again tomorrow and try them as well! Nice surprise and friendly bartenders as well.

Ravon H.

Yelp
Stopped in on a game day to grab a quick bite to eat before catching the Monday night ravens game. I would not advise stopping in here on a game day because it's going to be super crowded and you won't get the level of service that will make you comfortable. When I arrive with my sister we were seated quickly and the waitress came over to take a drink orders. We also chose to order a crab pretzel as an appetizer while we were deciding on what we would have for our main course. Had I known the service would be so slow I would've ordered that main course at that time because we never saw the waitress again. The crab pretzel in the drinks were dropped off by either of a bartender or a bar back. The crab pretzel was OK not a lot of crab meat in the crab dip on it but that's what you really expect from a bar. Drinks were OK and after just for a Stella. My sister ordered a mixed drink and she seem to be happy with it. The only bad part was the level of service I really wanted to get something to eat because I was starving but after waiting over an hour from the time we arrived I just decided to go elsewhere to get something to eat. I may try it out again but definitely not on the game day because they are too overwhelmed I don't have enough staff members on hand to wait on all the customers

Yelp
Okay! Considering hotel food is usually overpriced and mediocre, this exceeded my expectations. Pro tip 1: 18% gratuity added to parties of 6 or more! Price point was pretty standard compared to normal restaurants that you would go to. APPETIZER: 1) Loaded nachos ($13) // -1 Wayyyy too much sour cream. I actually got really mad, but then cooled down. +/-1 It's a mountain of chips though and can be shared with 8 others. 2) Calamari ($11) // Yum! Nothing can really go wrong with calamari. +/-1 The batter was okay, but it was fried well. SALAD: 1) Chopped salad (13) // We some got granny smith/fruit/nut salad. -1 Mediocre, to say the least. 2) 3 Grain bowls ($13/each) // Yum! This was good. +/-1 It should be easy to make, but these were perfect for lunch. +1 Also pretty decent size portions! ENTREES: 1) Chicken pot pie ($20) with a side of asparagus // Oh! Pretty good. +1 They bring it out in a skillet/cast iron, so it's piping hot. +1 The inside is a bit too gooey for my liking, but it was still yummy on a cold night. +1 Asparagus was cooked well too! 2) Cauliflower ravioli ($19) // -1 Didn't try it, but seemed like a small portion. +/-1 Robert looked like he enjoyed it! -1 Did not come with a side. 3) Crab cakes ($30) // Yum! +1 Really fresh crab. I guess why people say you need to eat crabs in Maryland! +1 Corn was prepared well on the bottom. -1 STEEP price point...this is crazy! 4) Honey BBQ back ribs ($28) + 1 mac n cheese (side) // We chose the full rack- $15 is for half. +1 Ribs were fall of the bone perfect! -1 Too much BBQ sauce...would recommend to ask for on the side. +1 Mac and cheese was yummy! Glad they didn't screw this up. 5) Grilled angus beef burger ($15) + 1 sweet potato fries (side) // We asked for the burger well done. +1 Wow! It retained the juices! +1 Packed burger. For some reason it was really tall.... -1 Not super flavorful, but I think the bacon saved it... +1 Fries were great! +1 This one is a pretty good deal for a standard meal. SIDES: 1) Crispy brussel sprouts ($6) // +1 Yum! Not the best I've had, but glad this didn't mess up. 2) 2 orders of french fries ($6/each) // +1 Yay! Thick cut fries, just the way I like it. Wish it had more cayenne pepper or something. Service: really attentive, and he seemed super nervous for some reason. Near the end of the meal, he just kept disappearing when we really needed water. Overall, I would come here if I was on a business trip, but not if I'm traveling.

Bianca V.

Yelp
Stopped in during happy hour. Chicken Nachos are BOMB. Service is very well. Prices are very reasonable.

Kassie L.

Yelp
I grabbed a quick dinner here after a long travel day. Service was prompt and friendly. I got a local IPA and a crab cake sandwich with fries. The crab cake was better than I was expecting--there was mostly lump meat and no breadcrumbs. I didn't love the bun (too buttery, not in a good way)and ended up just pulling the crab cake off and eating it. I'd probably just order a single crab cake if I had it to do over. The fries were great. Happy with the beer. Definitely better than average hotel food.

Jim C.

Yelp
Overall the food was delicious. Wings were saucey, and Crab Cake as well. Love coming here

Yelp
The Yard was a surprisingly good choice for dinner! It had been a long day and we didn't care to go out to an out of hotel restaurant. The Yard was convenient and had lots of tap handles at the bar. We sat at the bar and was greeted by staff that was friendly, accommodating, and bubbling with good energy. We asked questions about the food and beverage menus that were answered by the bar staff. I decided to order a Reuben with seasoned fries and one of the local brews that I was allowed to sample. My coworker ordered an Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. We both hit the food jackpots with our orders!! My Reuben was juicy, tender, and so very tasty!! The fries were also very good! My food came out quickly and hot! There were more fries than two people could consume so I could only eat about one-quarter of them! My Reuben was likely the best I've had in recent memory. The meat was very tender and tasty! The sandwich was so tall that I practically needed to unhinge my jawbone to take a bite!! It may be called The Yard, but the food quality and the wonderful staff are miles ahead of the rest!!! The Yard is an excellent choice for a first class dining experience!

Destiny M.

Yelp
Food is good but we ate here 3 times In our stay , restaurant practically empty but there was such a long wait. An hour and a half wait for chicken tenders is not justifiable.

Nequel B.

Yelp
The food was delicious I stayed in the hotel for a conference and ate at the yard twice I had the crab chowder and the Chesapeake omelette both were great. The staff in the hotel bar and restaurant were great!

Yelp
Really great business lunch today at The Yard in the Lobby Level of the Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel at 110 S Eutaw St, Baltimore, MD 21201. The meal was great.  From the full size, juicy, Hamburger with Fries to the Chick Caesar Salad, everything was really great. Service too was very much on point today!  Agwil was such a delight as our server today!  Agwil was on point with our order, checked in regularly, and was very friendly to both me and my guest.  We really enjoyed having Agwil at our table. I have had nothing but great experiences at The Yard inside the Lobby Level of the Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel at 110 S Eutaw St, Baltimore, MD 21201.  I will be back again for sure!

Yelp
Stayed at the Marriott so I got to go breakfast twice. First day I got oatmeal and the power smoothie bowl. The smoothie bowl is more like a creamy yogurt but it was really good with pine nuts! The oatmeal was a create your own and was really good with some brown sugar. I'm the next time I got the egg white omelet which is highly recommended. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes which were amazing and they gave me a million. And they included avocado and sweet potato NOM. The egg white omelet was huge so I could only eat half. They also gave me a free banana and bar because I asked for a fruit cup but they didn't have any. I also was in a rush and they were super quick. Great service!!!

Demond S.

Yelp
Just had another power lunch. This is my first time visiting "The Yard". It is located at the Marriott @ Camden Yards, across from the Orioles stadium. I have to say Obama little biased as i do favor Marriott properties. But I have to say, the yard is a nice addition to the property. Customer service was excellent. I ordered fried fish sandwich with French fries. The fish was trout. It was excellent. I am a fan of fries fish when the crustingbis down right and they nailed it. My only constructive comment is that the French fries tasty a little fishy. May be a good idea to cook separately... just my thought.

Jude R.

Yelp
Ate two breakfasts here while staying at the Marriott. Normally we eat in concierge lounge, but it is closed on the weekends. Hotel gave us credit for 2 breakfasts, so we figured why not try the place. Buffet is standard fare, has some good choices and for the most part the food was fresh and plentiful. The omelette guy made us all nice eggs, cooked to order and well prepared. Out waitress the first morning was not great and not that pleasant, but the second morning we had a very pleasant, very efficient young lady who was excellent. Better choices in the area, but ok and convenient. We waited 10 minutes for a table the first day but were seated immediately on day 2.

Alli K.

Yelp
Pretty good for a hotel restaurant! Disappointed they were out of a bottled wine we wanted and the cauli burger, but the ravioli was perfect portion. Their small bite starters are only $3 and perfect portion! Atmosphere is adorable and service was great. I would still be back!

Yelp
While staying at the Camden Yards Marriott we dined at The Yard for a very late dinner. We were in town for a family medical emergency and had to stay overnight. We sat at the bar, getting there soon before they closed and Michael was our server and bartender. He was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The menu they have looked amazing, it was hard to pick what the eat. They have plenty of nice, unique entrées and items on the menu, some with a BBQ twist to them. The brisket chili was outstanding! And the turkey burger was fresh and amazing! Their salad was really fresh and tasty too. They offer a really nice wine list as well as a well-designed cocktail list. The restaurant is laid out and decorated nicely. It doesn't look like the typical, boring hotel lobby lounge at all. While finishing up eating, we asked Michael where the concierge lounge was, he told us, but said they were closed at that time (it was well after 11PM) and asked what we needed. We explained why we were there and that we needed a couple of toothbrushes. He said he would take care of it... Walked off and brought back toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant. He also gave us water for the room. What an incredible way to go the extra mile for guests! This is why we choose to stay at Marriott properties! We'll definitely come back to dine here too, the food and service were outstanding!

Jenn G.

Yelp
Sweet Baby Jesus on tap is SO tasty! If not for the evening manager, we may not have stopped here at all. He was very welcoming and accommodating. The servers were basically nonexistent. Last night we sat for 15 minutes even after placing our order of two beers. Finally the manager retook our order and served us; we never saw the server again. Stopped in for a post wedding beverage and never received service; so we left.

Tyron H.

Yelp
Excellent customer service and drinks. Sophisticated ambiance. Average bar food. Nice spot.

Sara M.

Yelp
Shante was the absolute best!!!! She has a smile that will light up your table and bring you that amazing feeling deep in your belly that you are loved by your bar waiter and not just because your drinking! She is amazing and we stayed longer just to hang with her!!

Ursula T.

Yelp
I enjoyed my meals here. The staff was mostly friendly, even though service could be a bit slow. The food was cooked well and the happy hour selection was good. There are more affordable options in the area if you feel the food is too expensive. Even so, definitely worth a look.

Riya D.

Yelp
Ordered from here on UberEats because I was struggling to find gluten free options in the area. They had a rice bowl with chicken that sounded incredibly boring, but at least I could eat it. What arrived (after an hour - when I was quoted 20 minutes) was so disgusting the smell made me gag and I could barely look at it it was so nasty. It was a huge unseasoned mound of rice, with weird white cheese melted all over top of it and a few vegetables strewn across. The cheese had congealed to look like some kind of mutant bechamel sauce. When I opened up the box everyone near by held their noses in disgust "what's that smell?" Not dinner, that's what. Never ever ever eat from here.

Grace G.

Yelp
This place is located at the Marriott. Very friendly bartender. Quick and friendly service. Decided to have some food with our beverages....which btw, the cocktail I ordered was delicious. I ordered the crab chowder, blue mini crab cakes, and hubby ordered fried chicken with a side of sea salt fries. Soooo....the crab chowder was DELICIOUS. Lots of flavor. Very tasty!! The mini blue crab cakes were also very good. The fried chicken was tasty and well cooked. Very good. The only thing that sucked was the fries. For sea salt fries, you would expect a lil sea salt flavor. They were pretty bland and they came out pretty cold. Or, let's just say, not hot. So overall, very good meal! The food was fast, the service was fast. Will definitely eat here again when we stay here again, just will not order the fries.

M S.

Yelp
If you want a lesson in proper cooking times, don't come here (chicken breast sorely overcooked, sweet potatoes undercooked). "The driest chicken breast I ever ate was at The Yard in Baltimore." - Moo Twain Finished food because I was HUNGRY from traveling all day. Even extreme hunger did not paint this food in a warm rosy light. Come here for drinks. That's all.

Mark N.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this is a restaurant/bar/lounge inside a Marriott hotel. With that said, expect high prices. I just didn't expect that high of prices!! We stayed at the Marriott at Camden Yards for my wife's work conference. At night, we decided to come down to the bar at the hotel with my brother and his wife as well, instead of trying to venture out in Bmore. It was a great decision as we had a great time hanging out while eating late night bar food and enjoying libations. The crowd was pretty good as you have mostly hotel patrons. There was a wedding that night so the wedding party and guests swarmed the bar around 11pm. We ordered some Old Bay wings (awesome) and nachos (massively awesome). I was pleasantly surprised how good the wings were. Juicy and full of flavor! Old bay is salty so we expected that. The nachos were really good with some pulled pork I think and the usual toppings of guacamole, sour cream, and melted cheese. The melted cheese was called Natty Bo Melted cheese! No wonder the cheese was the star of the plate! So, after 2 dishes and 14-20 Johnny Walker neat drinks later our bill came out. Over 300 bucks!! What the heck? Hidden cameras somewhere? It's a joke right? Each Johnny Walker was a whopping 14 bucks! Wow, that's DC prices and a bit more! If I knew I would've ordered something else. Not the servers fault as they were attentive and came around even when the bar got busy. The service was top notch. With our wallets empty we grudgingly went back to our room in defeat. So why still 4 stars? The food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was what we wanted instead of a dirty bar. It's just that the prices could be a little lower for goodness sakes. I didn't go back to the bar the rest of the week as you can imagine. But still a great time, only once! ****THE GOOD**** - Service was on point! Bartenders busy at the bar but they seem to have extra staff running the tables taking any orders. They came around just enough, not too often to annoy you and break your conversation and not too little that you wonder "I need another drink!". - Food was great, old bay wings was so good. Pricey but good! Nachos were best I've had. - Atmosphere was good when it gets busy. It's in the hotel so no need to venture out if you don't want to. - You can always go up to bed after a good night of debauchery. Plus it will make you forget about your bill. ****THE BAD**** - It may not be as lively as you want since it's situated in a pretty lit up lobby. If you want dim lights and an actual bar atmosphere then don't come here. It's just a sports bar and sit down and relax type bar. ****THE UGLY**** - Prices are way too HIGH!!!! Like ridiculously high after a lot of drinks! Can't remember if the food was high too, but at 14 bucks a shot that'll hurt your wallet big time. I would suggest asking the price of your fav liquor before you get it!!

Bill T.

Yelp
This place is not awful. However, I came here after spending most of the evening up the street at Alewife enjoying fine food and even better beer. Coming here after such an experience is the equivalent of having two dates on one night: Early in the evening, you go out with George Clooney and later in the evening, you meet up with me. You get the point. We came here for a nightcap because it was in my friend's hotel. They didn't have the first beer we wanted to we had to get something else. We also wanted something sweet so we ordered a brownie sundae. The beer I had was okay...a local ale from Heavy Seas. The brownie sundae wasn't bad, although the brownie was unevenly heated. Service was friendly enough but it was tough to get the waiter's attention. Overall, this isn't horrible, but it's unlikely you'll have a life changing experience here. At least it's better than a punch in the face.

John C.

Yelp
Very nice hotel lobby restaurant and bar. We enjoyed a glass of wine and our dinners were exceptional. The service was very good and when our dinners were delayed, the supervisor came to our table to explain the delay. It was worth the wait, my roasted chicken was super. We were so glad we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the evening without battling crowds at local "trendy" restaurants on a night when the Orioles were at Camden Yards playing the Red Soxes.

Sean B.

Yelp
Shante is the BEST Waitress!!! I went to Baltimore for a Conference and stayed at the Marriott Inner Harbor And was pleasantly surprised that they had such a good restaurant, "The Yard"! Great food and great service! And especially our Waitress, Shante!!! She was amazing!!! So nice and so attentive!

Rob B.

Yelp
I had mixed thoughts on the Yard house. To note we were there on the 28/29 of December. The bar at night was well tended. Mike was great and attentive. Awesome beer selection and free chips. Our breakfast was a bit slow but our server made sure we had some hot zucchini bread in the mean time and checked back often. When the food did arrive is was very good though the bacon had been left off my broken egg sandwich. It seemed they had more guests than help but again that could have been the holiday. The breakfast we did have was large and tasty! I would go back and try again, the help yourself bar not yet opened looked interesting.

Jose R.

Yelp
Last time I was here I sat down for breakfast. Two waiters arguing as to whose table it was. After 5 minutes no one had stopped by. I left after finding a manager to express my disappointment to. Fast forward a year or so more. Just in from redeye. Stopped by The Yard's cafe for a bacon, egg & cheese bagel. The cashier/attendant was anything but warm & fuzzy. As I lifted the lid for the warmer where the sandwiches were she lifted her eyelids as if I was about to grab a sandwich and run. While I signed the receipt she was more interested in some non-work conversation with coworker. What a disappointment. If I want service with a smile I'm better off getting it at IHOP.

Ma-e M.

Yelp
Located inside a Marriott Hotel in Baltimore City near Inner Harbor. Good food, nice place to have a meal before an event or if you are staying in the hotel.

Phil B.

Yelp
The Turkey BLT was great. Loads of turkey and bacon. The lemon mayo was also very nice. The sandwich was huge. The tater tots were super. Service a bit slow and we had to ask for salt. None of the tables have salt or pepper. The Marriot Hotel they are inside of is very clean and the staff have been very nice.

Bryan C.

Yelp
Odd to choose to go to a hotel bar when live in the area and no one is at hotel but I have come to this place twice. They have a good happy hour with beer, wine, cocktails and few food items. Two times I have been there wine tap were out but served wine from regular list. Not that busy but since usually only one bartender likely could not handle. It is a hotel bar so not much atmosphere as in middle of lobby. If downtown and want to have drink after work and talk to person you are with this is a god choice.

Sakeenah S.

Yelp
The restaurant decor and ambiance was really nice. I went for a birthday lunch with a large group on a Sunday. The food was meh. Typical hotel restaurant. But possibly a good place for a group gathering. And parking sucks...$20 with no validation for customers.

Lana D.

Yelp
Really awful experience at the Marriott restaurant. Seated for breakfast and had to wait over 20 minutes between coffee and getting our order. Not even a full restaurant, just completely inefficient. Food took so long to come out and all 3 of our orders were completely wrong. At that point it has been over 45 minutes. Overpriced, subpar food, terrible service. FYI the beautiful "smoothie bowl" they tout on their menu was literally just a bowl of yogurt with shredded coconut. So disappointed!!!

Bill B.

Yelp
The Yard is in the Marriott Inner Harbor hotel. I was expecting it to be expensive and not very good. What a surprise. Our meals were outstanding and priced reasonably. My wife had the Cauliflower Ravioli for $19 so I though there better be a lot of Raviolis on that plate or I will nor be a happy camper. The plate was filled with Ravioli and other vegetables in a delightful sauce. She was delighted because we had a hamburger at the convention center that was almost $20 and it was terrible. The service was excellent, servers were friendly and attentive. You definitely need a reservation as the restaurant is very popular. I recommend this because the food was very, very good and my wife did not complain about the meal when we left. (LoL)

Karen B.

Yelp
I was excited to see a hotel bar with local beers on tap. The Evolution Rise Up Coffee Stout was delicious, but I'm not sure it was worth $7.50 a pint, especially when the bartender told me that drafts are only $4 during happy hour. The bartender also recommended their crab cake sandwich. They were just meh....mostly filler, with little flavor and were smothered with tartar sauce. I don't think they even had a touch of Old Bay (which is a staple for a Maryland Crab cake). Lastly, the "seashore seasoned fries" were basically frozen thick cut fries with a sprinkle of black pepper. Being a Marylander, I assumed that "seashore" fries meant Old Bay. Don't think that the chef at "The Yard" has ever heard of it. I should've followed mine and hubby's first rule of dining out, avoid the hotel bar/restaurant if there are other options.

Yelp
Great crab cakes. Salads looked huge and fresh. Nice waitstaff! Lively bar area. Tasty cocktails

Meghan K.

Yelp
Horrible experience here. We arrived and got martinis which were pretty good. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees which came out all at the same time which was really annoying. The nachos were terrible and had big chunks of meat in them. The flatbread was gross and not hot and lacked flavor. Our waiter did not return to the table for at least 45 minutes after we got our food. It was nit crowded at all. It took us ten minutes to eat and we were going to order another drink but he didn't return until I was finally able to wave him over. It was extremely irritating. There was another employee who completely ignored us and was talking to his friend for at least 20 minutes. The whole experience was ridiculous. They gave us a free drink at the end but at that point we just wanted to leave.

Yelp
Very good quality food with excellent service very reasonable pricing and on top vey clean

Yelp
This is our favorite place in Baltimore, even when we don't stay at the Marriott. Great bartenders and an amazing chef. You can't go wrong

Yelp
This is the "in-house" bar/restaurant for the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. As such, it really should be a lot better. Sure, it's nicely appointed. Lots of space. And super high prices that go with an upscale Marriott in downtown Baltimore. But the food and service leave a lot to be desired. I came in here to grab a bite to eat prior to a fairly large conference (about 300+ people) that was being held in one of the Marriott's conference rooms. You would think that since it's in a hotel that has conference rooms it would be ready for some large crowds. You would think that the hotel conference schedulers and the restaurants might communicate with each other. You would be wrong. The "sports bar and grille" (some TV's but it really doesn't lend itself to the name "sports bar") could barely keep up with the demand for reasonably quick, filling food. I actually sat at the bar (which was nearly empty at the time) so I could get the bartender to pay attention to me. No such luck. He was so busy directing traffic that I still had to wait. The food was so-so, at best. Oily grilled chicken and ordinary french fries served with a semi- fancy schmancy presentation. For example, the warm french fries were served in a tiny deep fryer basket. Cute, huh? I would have just as soon had them on my plate if they were hot and tasty. The bartender did ask if i wanted ketchup but totally neglected salt and pepper. Bottom line: this might be a nice place to meet a client or your boss or a buddy after work to throw a few back. Or, if you're a guest of the hotel, it might be OK to catch a bite, if you're not too picky. Otherwise, there are tons of other places within a couple of blocks that more than likely have better tasting food at cheaper prices and served with a smile. The two stars are for ambiance and decor. That's about it.

Yelp
Disappointing food... worse management. My son and I were celebrating his acceptance to the local university, this being our first non-homemade meal together for a good months. The food was C- hotel fare but that wasn't the worst of it. It happened to be the week of his birthday. Unfortunately, the plans for a big surprise I had hoped to pull off were inconsiderately dashed by the manager (Sebastian)who tactlessly came by and asked, while both my son and I were at at the table, "I wanted to personally thank you for choosing our restaurant to celebrate your special day." He might as well have said, "Would you like candles in your cake?" The surprise was ruined and the rest of the night was an unbelievable let-down for my son, who had to feign happiness when a candle-free slice of (soggy) cheesecake came out for him with a chorus of two, count 'em two, waiters regaled us in "Happy Birthday." I could understand if this had been an off time or off night, but it was 7:30 on a Saturday. I'd avoid if I were you, especially for birthdays or other special occasions.

Yelp
The customer service was amazing. The waitress paid very close attention to detail and checked on us frequently but not too much to that it would be annoying. The food came out and was tempted as if it had just come off the stove, out the oven, etc. the food had flavor that I was not expecting; it reminded me of homemade food. The group I was with was pleasantly surprised considering this restaurant was not originally on our top list to visit, that list has since been revised. Our new pre-theater restaurant is now The Yard! Such a great experience and no complaints from any of the guests I was with. Great job waitress Christina!!!!

Yelp
Stayed at hotel across street, heard the food here was better. Enjoyed the lobby restaurant. Had the seafood pasta-it was good but $$. Tried the pickles 'snack' it was ok not worth ordering an entire bowl. Deviled eggs were interesting good. Believed it was made with a soft cheese filling.

Yelp
Just got done eating the French toast and it was some of the best I've had. They use whipped butter and quality maple syrup. I over heard at least 3 different people talk about there oatmeal, saying that it was some of the best around. Great please for a quick bite to eat, very clean and the portions are spot on.
