We really enjoyed our stay at the Yard. We had room 8 which has the patio and it was lovely. There are lots of nice touches such as the minibar, the breakfast and fluffy towels. For a small hotel the room was really well equipped and it has the most comfortable bed ever! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. Perfect location for going into the centre of Bath. Having parking is a big plus too and it's reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Lovely central hotel. The room was very nice, well equipped - the fan was much appreciated. No road noise even though we were at the front of the building. Good shower with wonderful fluffy towels. Breakfast in the room was a great touch. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. As we came via Bristol Airport it was very handy to have the Airport Bus stop 2 minutes along the road.

We stayed at The Yard for a couple of nights during the week while visiting our daughter at uni in Bath. The location of the hotel is perfect as it’s very close to the centre of things but set in a quiet street that houses a few good restaurants and pubs as well. The hotel is small and the staff are friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was quirky and yet had all the modern features you look for in any hotel (great shower, beautifully decorated, brilliantly comfortable bed and very clean). The Yard also goes the extra mile by supplying small bottles of fresh milk for your tea or coffee making in your room, they offer cutlery for any food you may take to your room and the room also comes with a Robert’s radio too which is a lovely touch. I cannot leave a review without mentioning the towels. I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels over the years but the towels at The Yard are the best (read fluffiest) towels ever!

Great location in the very centre of Bath with all the historic buildings, shops, restaurants and bars. We walked to the pedestrian centre in 5 minutes. The staff were excellent, very friendly and ultra helpful. The bedroom and ensuite were bigger than we had expected (not large by US standards) but comfortable. As with many locations there is a downside to being close to all the historic sites. That is, it is noisy through the night after 11.00 pm and in the early mornings from 4.30 am onwards with delivery vans, buses, etc. it's a trade off - convenience for noise! The other thing is there is no lift, so if you are handling your wife's ultra heavy suitcase to the top floor (3 flights) it is a late evening or early morning workout. I made it but, how many years for that..... We booked parking at the hotel in advance we really recommend that you do this as it is very limited. it is also very convenient being just across the road from the front door of the hotel. It's £15 fir 24 hours.

Absolutely beautiful place, with all the staff friendly and helpful. The bed was the best sleep ive had in ages, and the room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Your own little mini coffee station and mini bar, iron and hairdryer. So little touches make the difference. It's a short walk away from main area, but worth it as its quiet. You can book breakfast via them at a little family run place opposite or have a hamper to your room. Definitely stay again when visiting, highly recommend 👌

Lovely little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Just a couple of small things though that would maybe put us off staying here again - we were given room 4 which is a lovely room but is on the ground floor looking out onto the street. Could be noisy at times with people stopping right outside the window to wait on taxis (happened twice). Also check out time is at 10am which seems really early. |Overall a good hotel in a very good location so you don’t get room 4, it should be a very enjoyable stay

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Staff are lovely and made me feel so welcome, rooms and overall decor are modern and elegant, soft classical music playing when I got into my spotless room, great glass of wine and fresh brownie to end my day in Bath, and the cutest breakfast in bed in the morning. Wish I was staying longer. Perfect walking distance from all the sites. Will definitely be staying here any time I visit Bath again.

We had this booked in for a while for a birthday present for our Mum. It’s a wonderful hotel, rooms are gorgeous, we had room 8 with the lovely terrace and 9 that was smaller but equally as nice. |Everything has been thought of, lovely and clean and also air con which was very welcome with it being warm. |The breakfast in the room was fresh and a lovely touch, you place your breakfast request on your door the evening before then they hang it from your door at your requested time. |The fresh milk and water in the room added with a fridge is also a great welcome!|All the staff were lovely and really helpful, overall a wonderful experience and after only 1 night there I was actually sad to leave!
