Just popped in there for a bite before going home. I've been here before and thought to revisit it. The night staff was wonderful and sweet. Waitress was very kind and positive and attentative, the chefs were amazing and the food was delicious.

This is such a hard review to leave because we are also restauranteurs. My wife and I wanted some nice hearty salads for lunch so we looked up a few places. We ordered two salads (the mango salad and the arugula, mango, duck walnut, goat cheese salad—never had there been a more literal name for a salad which is fine—just hard to order on the phone). We were told these two salads were going to be 35 minutes. Even during a busy rush (which would seem strange at 2:05), two salads shouldn’t take 35 minutes. What makes it worse is that the Arugala Duck Salad (for short) is described as tradition “New Orleans” style salad. We lived in New Orleans for 4 years and ate all over the city. It’s a culinary mecca. This is not close to anything traditional to New Orleans. The salad was quite small for a $21 salad. Two salads totaled $56 which we don’t mind paying based on the food description. I’m in the food and beverage industry so I know the cost of goods. This was literally two handfuls of Arugal, some cubed mangos, a blob of coated goat cheese, and waaaay overcooked tiny slivers of duck breast. I understand the rising cost of business in this industry, but I could never to this to my patrons. The duck was embarrassingly bad and the beef on my wife’s salad was so overcooked, it was almost inedible. The duck breast slivers were not only small and overcooked but rubbery. That’s strange because the fat wasn’t rendered properly so the skin was gelatinous and chewy so it being overcook was just a lack of care or lack of training for the cook who cooked the duck breast. The packaging was so half hearted for $56 for two salads. This was rough. I’d be willing to adjust my review with a response from the owners. But, as far as first impressions go, we won’t order again based off this experience. So unfortunate in flavor and overpriced for the result.

Definitely want to eat here again soon! Lots of options for both drinks and food. I got the Traditional Macaroni & Cheese which was delicious once it cooled down. The Tropical Treasure cocktail was so gorgeous and I loved the combination of fruit juices. The ladies bathroom was clean and had one normal sized stall and one handicap stall that also had a baby changing station on the wall.

Excellent dinner spot! This place has something everyone can enjoy. Enormous portions. Super friendly staff. The bread was fresh and fluffy. The cocktails were perfect. The tomato florantine soup was incredible. The meals were savory and filling. You'll definitely have leftovers. My husband and I love coming here for a little date night.

My husband and I stopped I on a Tuesday afternoon about 2 pm. There were two other patrons in the dining room when we arrived. My husband ordered the insider burger I ordered the three cheese grilled cheese. We waited 45 minutes for our orders to arrive and when they came my husbands burger was raw inside. They said they would redo it which took another thirty minutes. They did give him a beer on the house, however we felt the time we waited when there were only two other guests there was unreasonable. The good overall was average. Sorry but a big disappointment.

2/28 visit. Friend ordered Reuben bread was burnt and fries were cold, sent it back only to get same cold fries. Husband ordered burger pink got it no pink and me? I ordered poutine and pork belly, poutine (expensive fries) were cold, even curds were ice cold. Pork belly was definitely over fried and hard to chew. My dog liked it, but it was inedible for human consumption. After years of going there, I would not recommend, it was $100 nightmare.

The Yelling Goat is a beloved fixture in the Lancaster area, renowned for its quality food, outstanding service, and one-of-a-kind vibe. You will find all kinds of unique signs and memorabilia on the walls and throughout. You can count on generous portions here, with most dishes ranging from good to excellent. Crowd-pleasers include their burgers, the Greek salad with chicken, the Reuben, and their pizzas. And don't even get me started on the massive calzone! Even the wine pours are notably generous, making each glass well worth the cost. Extensive beer menu (scan the QR code for all the details). Given its popularity, especially for bigger parties, booking ahead is definitely a smart move. Some refreshing could be done in some of the higher traffic areas and restrooms but overall it's in nice shape. They do have a patio area on the front (street side) and along a small portion of the parking lot.

Excellent lunch. Food was great, service perfect. I have always wanted to eat here. It was worth the wait.

Sat at the bar and was greeted quickly by friendly staff. Started with the bourbon BBQ wings -- large, meaty, and coated in a phenomenal sauce. If you like extra crispy wings, I'd recommend asking for them that way. For dinner, I had the steak and goat cheese calzone, and wow -- this thing could easily feed three or more people! They let me know upfront it would take a little longer to bake, which I appreciated. Totally worth the wait -- loaded with plenty of tender steak and creamy goat cheese. Also tried the pork belly pizza, which was fantastic. Each slice had thick, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of pork belly -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We went on a weekday night, so it wasn't too busy, but I've been here when it's packed and the service is always consistently good. Bonus points for the outdoor patio still being open -- and it's dog-friendly! Highly recommend for great food, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I've been here a couple times years ago with coworkers during lunchtime and decided to come by with friend today to check it out myself. Always remember the food was really good. Today, same thing, the food was really good. My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, I tasted the mac and it was delicious! I ordered a bacon, egg burger, asked for it to be cooked well, no pink, and it arrived with lots of pink. Instead of sending it back, I just ate half and brought the rest to go so I can cook and eat it later. Our waiter was great, I forget his name though, nice guy. So, when I arrived at 11:15am there was only one other couple seated. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it. Goats and monkeys are fine, just saying it was weird Whatever. Lol That's fine and all but it's just not my thing.

Prices are a little higher than places nearby, but as Long as they continue to use good quality ingredients, I am okay with that. The Mac and cheese.... Absolutely phenomenal. You can get away with the medium. You do not need the large. It doesn't reheat at home as good (oil). Of course everything is better fresh :-) Please let the cooks know that no pink does not mean cook allll the moisture out. It was so overcooked, or held under a warming light, my egg on top was completely cooked through so no runny egg to assist with the overcooked burger. Let me be clear... an overcooked burger and egg is not the fault of the waitress!! Besides that... everyone's mess were fantastic. My friend got a pizza.. that thing looked FANTASTIC and with all the stuff on top of it, the dough did not buckle. Gordon Ramsey would approve. Don't sleep on the milkshakes. Under $9 and great! Alcohol from the bar- I do not drink, not a fan, My friend ordered a mixed drink and said it tasted very watery. I took a sip because if anyone could taste it, it would be me... she wasn't lying. Maybe the base mix was too watery but the whole drink was pretty watered down. Our waitress was fantastic. The drink or the burger was not her fault. Would come back for her.

We had a very mixed experience here. The staff and prices and pretzels were excellent! We ordered their berber pizza and it was really really bad. The spice level was off the charts and it tasted very earthy but not in a good way. The waitress and manager were kind enough to comp another pizza for us so we ordered the goat cheese and fig pizza. But it came with Bleu cheese. We had waited for so long for the first pizza that by the time we got to the second it had been well over an hour we took it home. When we got to eating the pizza and discovered it was Bleu instead of goat I was out and had cereal for dinner. I can't stand bleu cheese and never would have ordered it. I was very disappointed because the pizza was not cheap and to be unable to eat basically any of it was very frustrating. I can't say for sure we'd come back again.

DELICIOUS food!! I had a short rib sandwich on homemade bread. Husband had the wings which he really enjoyed. Service was a little slow, but the food more than made up for it! Will be back.

It's a cute restaurant and I liked the wooden tables. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We were put in the bar area and it was very loud. Our server came promptly and did a good job. There were a lot of good choices on the menu. I asked his advice on a meal choice and he mentioned the short ribs which I ordered. They came with mashed potatoes and a salad. We also got bread and a dipping oil which we usually prefer over butter but didn't care for this one. I don't like that I got my meal before my salad so didn't really eat it. It was field greens which I don't care for anyway. The short ribs were good but not tender but I liked the gravy on them. My husband got the huge prime rib which was good but not tender at all. I just don't think the food was worth the price but willing to give it another chance in the future.

I stopped by this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The menu features all the American classics such as pizza, sandwiches, fish fry. I was feeling a little adventurous. I normally get either a cheese or pepperoni pizza but I ordered the Berbere Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The roasted chicken paired perfectly with their award-winning Berbere wing sauce--spicy, flavorful, and well-balanced. The caramelized onions and garlic added a rich depth while the goat cheese and mozzarella made every bite creamy and satisfying. The spinach gave it a nice fresh touch. It was one of the most flavorful pizzas I've had in a while. I'm already planning to come back and try more from the menu! Our waitress was lovely and came by pretty often. You can also bring your four-legged friends and sit on the patio.

Have never had a bad meal here. It is a bit more on the $$$ side but the food quality and serving sizes make it much more reasonable. I love their berbere spice based dishes, especially the wings. They added great M-Thu happy hour specials and Tuesday is wing night! Check out the wings. I believe they are top 10 in Buffalo!!!

Delicious and flavorful burger. Definitely a must try. The atmosphere is perfect, not too loud where you have to yell to your friends and not to quiet either. Friendly staff with attention to great service.

Been here a few times over the years. Always great. Had the Cuban today. I'm a huge Cuban fan and this was definitely top 5. Plenty of ham and pork, flavorful swiss cheese, a great pickle layer, and properly used yellow mustard and not honey or Dijon like some places.

Pizza was amazing! It was worth the hour drive! Friendly bartenders and a great environment.

We went on a Friday eve, the restaurant and bar were busy as expected but we were seated for our reservation on time. The vibe is farm chic. We sat in the main dining room, service was decent. The only thing that affected the vibe was the constant slamming of the kitchen door every time the staff entered or exited the kitchen. I ordered the steak salad, portion was huge, steak was cooked to my liking. I got ranch instead of horseradish dressing.

This review is mixed because we had mixed feelings when we left. With that said, to start off on a really strong note, the wings we got were fabulous. The perfect mix of crispy on the outside and tender, juicy meat on the inside. My husband and I both agreed that we will definitely bring friends there for wings sometime. The second aspect that was amazing was our server, and I believe her name was Abriana. She was so helpful and attentive. They even had a large event going on which she was serving for and never let that keep her from her other tables. She truly was so sweet and did a great job. As far as the entrees, this is where we felt a little let down. We both ordered the pork belly burger and it just didn't meet our expectations. The burger itself was ok but we assumed the pork would be on the burger rather than on the side. It was just hard to eat and the flavor/texture of the pork was dry and underwhelming for both of us. We felt that it could have been better considering how good our other meals there have been. We still very much love the yelling goat and chalk it up to one dish that just isn't our favorite. In general, it's a great local fav and worth a try!

First time here, what a great establishment! The place was packed but we had made reservations since it was a Friday night Our friends joined us for dinner. The waitress was wonderful! I had the bunless burger and my husband had the fish fry. Our friends also had a bunless burger and a duck entrée - everything was delicious! We started out with the spinach artichoke Dip, which was absolutely amazing! We met the Owner's son, Collin, who is now running the place as the original owners have now taking a much needed, and deserved retirement. I absolutely love that they are Dog Friendly on their outdoor patio and I will have to bring my dogs. We met an adorable dog named cupcake. Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful experience here all the way around and I would be happy to come back! We came in on Cinco de Mayo and for reference, they had a special menu in addition to their usual with drinks, apps, and entrees. First, they automatically bring out nice and fluffy bread with a balsamic dipping oil. They will offer you more if you like but one basket was enough for us. I had a hard time deciding what to eat as the menu was very big and I like almost everything. I settled on the country fried steak as u haven't had it in many years. It comes with the gravy and mashed potatoes and then you can pick one additional side. I chose the vegetable of the day which was steamed broccoli. Everything was fantastic. Even the gravy was nice and flavorful (I've definitely experienced bland gravy and this was NOT) and had the perfect consistency. The mashed potatoes were amazing and had some garlic to it. Even the steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked with some olive oil to just the right tenderness. In addition to all this, it was enough good to bring home an entire second meal. All staff members were nice. Our waitress was attentive and we never had an empty drink or had to wonder where she or our food was. I look forward to another visit here soon!

2nd visit here. The first was with a large group (my book club,) and the food and service were outstanding. This time, just hubs and me, our weekly date night. Wednesday evening, good-sized crowd. We didn't wait for a table, but I noticed there weren't many open seats at the bar. The food and service were top-notch, the menu is HUGE. Expect to need some extra time to make a decision, cause you'll be telling the server you need a few more minutes.

The restaurant, bar and staff are great! The food is always good and consistent. They are always super busy so what do that tell u about the food? I am Celiac and they have some gluten free options and havent be disappointed here at all. Go and enjoy. U won't be disappointed.

The Yelling Goat earns five stars in every category. The host and hostess who greet you when you first walk in, the servers, the bartender who bids you good night, the staff here create a very welcoming environment. Our waitress Shelley was there whenever we needed anything, she was pleasant, she got our order correct and despite the place being packed, the wait time was very reasonable. The ambience at this restaurant is fun, and compels you to walk around to see what's in the next corner. There are amusing knickknacks and conversation starters wherever you turn. Gotta love the vintage Zoltar machine when you first walk in! Now let's get down to it. The food. The corned beef is excellent. Someone at this restaurant truly knows how to select, season, prepare, cut and serve corned beef. Enthusiasts know that if you cut the corned beef the wrong way, it is tough as shoe leather but if you cut it just right, across the grain, it melts in your mouth. I grew up on the corned beef of Manhattan, the Bronx, the metro New York area and during my travels, I have found only a handful of places throughout the country that meet those standards. Yelling Goat is on that short list. The corned beef is not piled up as high on the sandwich as at some of the other places, but it's piled high enough to make an absolutely and thoroughly enjoyable sandwich. The seeded rye bread is fresh and delicious. Served of course with a pickle on the side. My wife's burger came rare - as ordered - which was much appreciated. It was a large burger and very tasty. Their wine list is limited, but adequate. My wife had a glass of Malbec which complemented her beautiful burger perfectly. As soon as we sat down, our waitress brought over a basket of bread and nice dipping oil with balsamic vinegar. The stuffed hot banana peppers were a nice appetizer for the table. If the place wasn't so packed with people, I would have sought out to shake the hand of whoever prepared and cut the corned beef. Five well earned stars.

This place has the biggest menu of all the fun things . Lots of comfort food , everything from pizza to yummy entrees . The drinks are all amazing , and so many . Service was good too ! Big inside so plenty big seating and not loud at all .

The service was good. The food was OK. I got sliders with fries. My White Russian was good and the food was subpar. The only flavor to the burgers was what they put on them. The fries tasted like the oil was a little bit old. My final take is good service and atmosphere, a little pricey ($17 for salad?), menu is a bit too much and all over the place.

As promised, an updated review based on last week's visit after attending a matinee at the Lancaster Opera House. I really wish I could award more stars, but... For what it's worth, my dining companions all were raving about their meals, but I was not as impressed. Our server Maddy was great. She was obviously very busy, but still was attentive and went above and beyond when one member of our party recalled the 20% offer in our theater program. Once we presented our playbills and clipped out the ad, the deduction helped what I thought were fairly high prices compared to other places I've been recently. I haven't paid $9.95 for a glass of wine in quite some time, and $17.95 for a reuben was a tad steep as well. But my biggest issue? If you're a vegetarian and want a sandwich after 4 pm, you're s*!t outta luck. No grilled cheese, no portabello sandwich. So I was pretty much stuck with ordering my usual meatless reuben. Meh. Yelling Goat, I truly want to love you as much as my friends do, but you gotta show me some love in return, okay?

They got a nice selection of draft beers not too many so it becomes hard to choose ! Four of us all got the Ruben sandwich , ( it was highly recommend by our son). you got your choice of fries or onion ring so the wife and I got one of each. The meat was very tender chunks of fresh cooked, delicious, good amount of meat and sauerkraut , it melted I. Your mouth fantastic! The onion rings were very good and crispy! The fries were Ok. Service was good and the place is simple and comfortable!,

Had a corned beef sandwich on rye. The corned beef was so tender and flavorful. The rye was great too. Our server was very nice. It was a very good meal.

My boyfriend and I came here for a late dinner after a sip and shop event in the village of Lancaster. We sat at the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went with the bun less burger. It was a burger served on a portabella mushroom with greens and tomatoes. It also came with fries. The burger was delicious. I would recommend this dish. My boyfriend had a burger and enjoyed his as well. This will probably be one of our hang outs, so more updates and reviews to come.

We ordered in and decided to go back to one of our favorite local places. Yelling Goat is always good. I typically always get the chicken fried steak but seeing as it was lunch, I opted for the burger. This cheeseburger is a masterpiece of culinary artistry, with a juicy and perfectly cooked beef patty that is HUGE. The cheese is melted to perfection, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful, including crispy lettuce, and tangy pickles. The bun is soft and fresh, with just the right amount of toasted crispness on the outside. Overall, if you are a fan of cheeseburgers, this one is definitely worth trying. My wife got the chimi pizza and it was so good! I was a little hesitant at first but the flavor on this is incredible. Next time we're getting a large. YG is always a good time and we've never had a bad meal from here. We're definitely keeping them on our shortlist for go-to spots near home.

Honestly, I wish I could give this place a better review but the food was truly abysmal. Upon my first bite of the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, the chicken was smelling as if it wasn't cooked properly. The kimmelweck roll from the beef on weck had copious amounts of salt and the chicken Parmesan had probably triple the cheese compared to chicken. Do better...

We asked the bartender for some recommendations and he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even the history and background of the flavors and how they fit with each other. I also hear that they have a cheese connoisseur working in the kitchen! Baked Brie 10/10 Melted cheese is always awesome. Not a huge fan of nuts, but the cherry walnut pesto kinda made this dish. Creaminess from the cheese, nuttiness and a pop of flavor from the pesto, and a crunch from the toasted bread. Truffle Burger 8/10 Added goat cheese. These burgers are huge! Asked for medium rare, was cooked perfectly. Very juicy. The truffle you could smell from a mile away. Was amazing. Pink inside. Goat cheese went great with the truffle to add to that umami flavor. The only suggestion would be maybe to season the meat a bit more with salt/pepper/ maybe garlic too.

LOVE the food and service here, but the vibe stinks when you walk in. John Tesh or Enya playing at 10% volume every time I'm there. What's up with that? Zoltar is the only thing I can ever hear. Dump Zoltar, and play some good music (70s, 80s) that appeal to your audience. Something with a beat.

Great food...... Great service.... nice atmosphere. Will definitely be a regular place for dinner. Can't wait to try the berbere wings and a calzone. Already planning my next visit!!

I went to the Yelling Goat with a close friend for my Birthday. We had a server named Ava. She immediately made us feel welcome and was very informative about the choices. The food was perfect, the atmosphere perfect, and the drinks were perfect. Ava understood exactly what we wanted and was available throughout the evening. I would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant , the food, and the server Ava made it all an excellent birthday visit there. We will be back

Went here for my brother-in-law's birthday. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night, which was awesome to see. We had a drink at the bar, and then sat down for dinner. The food was amazing and everyone raved about their dinners. I had the Mac and cheese and can honestly say it's the best I've had at a restaurant. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

The food was very good. We had a pizza that was different from the regular cheese and pepperoni. Loved it! Tons of beer choices.

Goats and Wing Kings have a lot in common. First, goats and the Wing Kings of Castle each have four stomachs. Second, they are both herd animals and will become depressed if kept without their companions. And finally, counter to the dominant stereotype about being willing to eat anything, goats and Wing Kings are very picky eaters. Unfortunately for the Yelling Goat, the Wing Kings pickiness will become apparent in this review. Location/service: 4.5 / 5 Lots to like here. Fantastic patio and a great beer menu. Our server, Trish, was very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. The complimentary bread bowl was a great touch and left us very excited for what was to come. Presentation: 3 / 5 Plated in a pile, presentation was just okay and they made a common (and costly) mistake of omitting celery. We don't focus much on dipping sauce but it's time; While we usually reward any attempt at uniqueness, replacing bleu cheese with a watery, salty, mystery concoction called "goat sauce" was not helpful to their score. Meat: 3 / 5 Too large with bones jutting out (that's what she said). "Wait, isn't more meat better," you ask? Not necessarily; keep reading. Cook: 5 / 10 Chewy and gummy. A deadly adjective combination. Regular readers know we prefer a healthy crisp to our wings and these didn't have it. A few flavors even seemed a bit undercooked. Really tough to properly cook an oversized wing. Standard Wing: 10 / 15 The medium had some potential but hard to get past 'chewy, gummy and undercooked' so they were pretty forgettable. Imagine getting your favorite take out pizzeria wing and letting them sit in the car too long. Specialty: 6.5 / 10 We were excited to try the Berbere (Ethiopian spice) and they were pretty good - actually had a good crisp -- but the flavor was basically regular Cajun with a different name. The Southwestern were just okay and the BB&B were just Southwestern. Honey Dijon built on the 'chewy' and 'gummy' attributes by adding 'slimy' and 'gross'. Yelling Goat was definitely not the Yelling G.O.A.T. As a result, you'll find them on the waiver wire. Overall score: 32 / 50

Hands down the best Ruben I have ever had!!!! Stopped on a whim and will definitely be back!! After talking with the super friendly bartender, we learned that 90 percent of the menu is made in house including 5 different red sauces, pizza crust and home made bread!!! I had a simple house salad to start with crumble blue cheese and Italian dressing and it was amazing. The Ruben came with fries and it was like eating fair food!! They were so good and had flaky salt that gave depth to the taste! Y'all need to hit this place up!!!

Food and service were both excellent. Ambiance was good. Very loud in the dining room. Definitely a bar and beer crowd. Food came out quickly and was very good.

Fantastic food. Generous portions. Can be loud. The menu is varied. And I highly recommend anything with the corned beef. Best I have ever had.

My husband wanted to check this place out for his birthday after I said it was really good when I came for a work get together about two years ago and he wasn't disappointed. He ordered the Rueben and said it was really good and came with a good amount of meat. I ordered the beef stroganoff which was a good size and very good, like a home cooked meal. Our waitress was nice and quick. Our daughter loved the basket of toys that she got to pick one from after her meal. We will be back!

If you want a mouthwatering gourmet burger, you need to check this place out. I'm telling you, it's excellent.

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to visit this establishment. I started with the sliced fresh/fried mozz "rounds" in their marinara. Lightly breaded, all four set on a nice scoop of the marinara. I really liked the thin crust pizza. Flank steak was nice and tender. The fresh cup of pico was the perfect topper. Palate took a beating because of the temp. Well worth linking off the bubble later. Got three pieces for snack later! Lucky me!! I'll be back!!!

Had a wonderful dinner at Yelling Goat last night. We had early reservations (5:00) since we were attending a play after. The place was packed when we walked in! I heard someone asking for a table and they were told next available was 8:00. Good case for making sure you have a reservation! Their menu is HUGE. I might even say too big but after narrowing my selection down to a handful of items I noticed the fish fry and decided to go with that. Others on my party ordered a Cajun broiled fish fry, beef stroganoff, and assorted sliders. Once ordered we settled in with our wine an fresh baked bread with a nice dipping oil. The food came out in what seemed a reasonable amount of time and we all dug in. My fish fry was as huge as the menu! The fish had a crispy beer battered crust covering the flaky juicy fish. I barely put a dent in my meal and still have enough for dinner tonight. The others seemed you enjoy their meals as well since their plates were cleaned off. Our server, AJ, was fantastic. Very attentive and super friendly. Just added to our festive holiday get together. even with the large crowd we were able to finish our meal with plenty of time to get to the theater. Can't wait to go back and check off more items from their menu. Which reminds me, I loved the little jokes scattered throughout the menu. 2021-195

Good food, nice size portions. The service was a bit slow, could not find our waitress to get another beer, so it was frustrating, but the quality food outweighed the service

To be honest I would not waste my time coming to this establishment. The customer service is hands down embarrassing. They should be ashamed of theirselves. Waiting in line for twenty minutes when we had reservations. the hostess asking "how many again" when she never even asked us in the first place. Finally after sitting it only took about twenty minutes for someone to come over and bring water. Not even start to ask for anything else..... this is also after the fact two possibly three parties came in and sat down AFTER us and already at least had their drinks to the table. when the Employee was putting down the waters I told her not to bother as we were about to be leaving anyways. The employee said sorry and that they thought someone else had our table. so that also tells me yall don't know what tables are assigned to who. just over all a messy establishment that shouldn't deserve money in their pockets

Zero stars. Just left after waiting for over 20 minutes with menus and even our drink order not being taken. The table literally 5 inches away who were seated after us was served. And we had reservations for my birthday. We used to go here pretty frequently but I will never come back.

Wow! The Yelling Goat has it all! Excellent food. Big portions. Attentive service. Great drinks. All at a reasonable price. We dined there tonight. Mitch was a spectacular server! Our Steak Salad, extra side of fries, Cuban sandwich, and 4 drinks, came to $80.80. Everything fresh and delicious. Very impressive! We will surely be back. The Yelling Goat does it right!

This is a great local spot in the area of lancaster. The menu covers all your normal food items with some great specials. They have pizza, dinners, salads, and a bunch of other great items. It does get packed on Fridays for the fish fry.

I'm not a review person. I joined Yelp around 10 years ago because I had an exceptional experience at a restaurant while on vacation. I only write reviews for exceptional experiences. 8 years ago I wrote this review for a small basement restaurant in Washington, DC: "I'm 50 years old and I've ordered a simple hamburger 95 percent of the time everywhere I go. For the rest of my life, when I order a hamburger, THIS is what I want." Up until last night- that burger in DC was the best I've had in my life. That burger was a "special" that day, touted as being ground from dry aged beef. Yelling Goat raised the burger bar for me, giving me a new champion to compare to with their simple bacon cheeseburger. I usually prefer thinner burgers with a good crust. Thick burgers often have a high percentage of bland ground beef as compared to a thin layer of tasty crusty beef. Yelling Goat's burgers are thick- 3/4 to 1 inch thick. When they brought the food to the table I was a little disheartened to see the burger was so thick. I thought it was going t obe a bland experience. NOPE. The burger has a good crust, even on the thick edges. But the flavor of the beef! Just ...Wow! I didn't want it to end. So I scarfed up the table bread and appetizer Onion rings (also fantastic), ate mine & my little sister's french fries... just so I could get a "take home" Box and enjoy the last quarter of this burger at home, later. And it was just as good with a 15 second microwave warm up, 4 hours later. Every bite, the taste of the beef was the shining star. The bun was appropriately good and the bacon & veggies up to standard. But the essence of this burger, the beef, was exceptional. My sister ordered the blue cheese burger and has the same opinion as me. Thank you for raising the bar & giving me a new favorite burger.
