The YMCA International Hotel Chiang Mai

This hotel is aged over 30 years but the infrastructure is still fucntion. The fronts are ok. Drinking water provided hot and cold at the first floor. Inside the room, the shower wall was stained with black mould on the tile sealant but not bad like I experienced before. The room is wide very big window, 2 chairs, malfunctioning TV but can turn on, and function AC with clear air very great for sleeping. The floor room is tiled and cleaned when checking in. They gave basic toiletries but not full set. It's better to prepare by yours. Next time, I won't forget to bring my slippers to every economic trip. lol The location is full in peace, near the food street with many types of restaurants such as pizza, traditional North dish, even various locals even though the made-to-order dishes are available from the hotel (see the menu in photo). From the Y, we walked to KooMeaung easily and also the hospital. I saw many guests from westerns (we are thai couple) :) If you don't mind in detail, this palce would be optional.

Nice clean and quiet rooms , front desk is always smiling and accommodating to request. Food is of good quality, freshly made and tasty

Great location and a fantastic staff make this a really nice place to visit. I didn't spend the night, but the food and service were very good.

Located at a quiet area. Comfortable & clean room.

This place grows on you if you stay a few days here. The quiet surroundings and the cleanliness is a welcome change to the hustle and bustle of the city hotels. The receptionists and kitchen staff are friendly and happy to help with any reasonable requests. The food in the restaurant is tasty and prices are reasonable. Overall a good and comfortable stay except there is no pool and I brought my swim suit, so the picture is misleading.

The hotel is good  neat and clean If you need something just ask the  staff, lthey are all kind .

Stayed here for two nights and not impressed. Guessing this facility was built in the 60's and was probably a good place to stay back then. But now, it is very dated and very much in need of a renovation or rebuild. Bed was ok and ac worked ok. Shower had a lot of mold, old faucets that barely worked and lots of water under tiles of floor by sink. The biggest positive is it's in a good quiet location, but there are many better choices in the same price range within 6 blocks of this one. We will not stay at this hotel again.

I like this hotel. It was away from the city, more quite. I stayed on the 5th floor with a nice view, big Windows, AC, TV. Drinking water, hot water. Rooms were clean. We paid 600 bhat for a room. 2 single beds. There are alot of stores and restaurants close by. The prices are lower here in this area. I could find a vegan restaurant with beautiful meals for 50 bhat. In the centre I paid 90 bhat..
