This place is in the center of Ubud, Bali. The campus itself is absolutely beautiful — lush greenery everywhere with a tropical, bohemian, almost hippie-meets-peaceful vibe. Just being on the grounds already feels grounding and calming. The Garden Restaurant is a highlight on its own. Creative, delicious vegan food across the board — truly heaven for vegetarians like me. I found myself eating there almost every day. The variety of classes is impressive and professionally taught. Each teacher brings their own depth and unique spiritual journey, and you can really feel the authenticity in every class. You can completely choose your own rhythm here — move between different yoga classes, join dances or events, or simply socialize. Chances are, you’ll leave with a handful of new friends and unforgettable conversations. I first discovered Yoga Barn last year while visiting Bali, and this year I came back again and dedicated an entire week just to being here. They even have their own guesthouses on campus if you want a fully immersive experience. Totally worth it. Perfect for: anyone looking for a special, tropical, community-driven spiritual experience in Bali.

The Yoga Barn is a magical place. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to recharge, slow down and reconnect with themselves. There is an energy here that can be felt. The vibe is spiritual and relaxed and can be only be described as high frequency. I have come away feeling lighter and rejuvenated. The 7 day blissful package is excellent value for money and includes two meals and two drinks daily plus a daily juice. It also includes 5 spa treatments so you can pick one each day and space them out. Staff are super lovely, as the Balinese always are. They were very accomodating with any requests that I had. The yoga schedule is phenomenal, almost too many choices it’s hard to decide! I loved the yoga flow, sacred heart meditation and sound healing yin classes. What ever you decide, you will thank yourself for staying here!

I love this place! I was here 8 years ago and being back, I noticed how Bali had change a lot since Covid, but this place is still special. I was in Ubud for two weeks, and I came to yoga barn everyday. The first day I just tried a bunch of different classes that felt too easy, since there aren’t levels in most classes, I read the class description and the teacher’s bio. I was impressed that the creator of fly high yoga offers a class, this was like a workshop, and it’s offered as a drop in class. As an aerial yoga teacher, I was fascinated with the time Jose Luis took to explain the shoulder movement, general alignment and go around the room to give adjustments. I learned so much from him and what I learned I kept applying on the floor too. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to take his classes. I also recommmed the PiYo classes. The teacher is amazing, he carries the class with so much strength, if you’re looking to challenge yourself, I’ll recommend this class. I don’t know the name of the amazing teacher, but he was wonderful, I hope to be able to continue doing this practice at home. Murni Made is my favorite vinyasa teacher and also one of the challenging/relaxing classes. Any class with chocolako and Donovan are also challenging and good! I felt I was in a training that I designed myself, everyday I chose my schedule and went to the classes offered, it took me two days to figure out the teachers. I stayed 15 mins away and I walked everyday to the barn and I only had rain one day. Usually started raining when I was in class, which was very magical. The only day I left during rain, they allowed me to take an umbrella home a which I brought back next day. The staff is lovely, helpful and I witnessed people talking very entitled or harsh to them. All the info is on the website and there’s a lot of people coming in and out like me that was only there for two weeks. I recommend getting a printed schedule or check the online one and if you go, check the options per hour, I tried to go and do at least two classes and had a back up in case there wasn’t room or I arrived late. Looking forward to be back!

Yoga Barn in Ubud is such a beautiful and special place. The whole space is incredibly well curated, with multiple areas to explore, relax, and enjoy—everything surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel instantly calm and grounded. It was quite packed around midday, but we still had a lovely lunch and the atmosphere remained vibrant and welcoming. On Sunday, I joined the Active Consciousness meditation, and it was absolutely magnificent. The instructor (I’m sorry I don’t remember their name) was incredibly clear, present, and guided us so beautifully through the meditation. It was a truly powerful and meaningful experience. A very special place that I would happily return to. Highly recommended ✨

I’ve been attending classes at The Yoga Barn since my first visit to Ubud in 2019, and it has always been a great experience. The variety of classes, workshops, and teachers is amazing. I personally really enjoy the ecstatic dances they organize. I also often go to Chris Fox’s classes (mobility and yintelligence), Fly High Yoga with Jose, which is always fun and very clear, and the Acro Yoga classes with Pixie and Hayden. In the end, it’s all about finding the yoga style and teachers that work best for you, and The Yoga Barn makes that very easy.

This place is truly amazing and absolutely beautiful. For only $180, you get 30 days of unlimited yoga with up to 30 classes a day! . The teachers are wonderfully skilled, experienced, and genuinely live their yoga (Bex, Barbra, Donovan, Markus, Chocolako, Murni). The reception and accommodation teams are so kind and helpful, always ready with a smile. Our Nest room was cosy and peaceful, and we loved falling asleep each night to the sounds of the jungle and river. Their Kafe serves delicious, fresh food and is the perfect spot to meet new friends, and just reconnect. We honestly ended up eating there almost every day, with just a few dinners outside. Thank you, Yoga Barn, for the magical moments on the mat and the amazing service. We’ll definitely be back.

I joined a seven day retreat at The Yoga Barn and it was an experience I can genuinely recommend. For a very affordable price, well under 600 euros, you receive seven days of unlimited yoga, including breakfast and lunch. Throughout the week I followed between ten and twelve yoga sessions, which means you can truly immerse yourself and explore what suits you best. The variety is impressive. From yoga nidra, yin and hatha yoga to sound healing and breath based practices, everything you might want to experience in yoga is available. You are free to choose your own rhythm and attend sessions across different spaces and styles. It feels a bit like a moving retreat, but with complete freedom. What stood out most to me was the atmosphere. The people are open, welcoming and inspiring. Spending time at The Yoga Barn itself felt grounding and nourishing. I met new friends, enjoyed the warmth of the staff, and the food was absolutely delicious. Although you can choose to stay elsewhere, I personally loved being fully present at The Yoga Barn. Everything is taken care of. Yoga, movement, massages, temple visits. You do not have to think about logistics, only about what you feel like doing and when you would like to eat. The flexible meal times make it easy to follow your own flow. The value for money is excellent and the amount of choice is remarkable. You are active throughout the day, both physically and mentally, in a safe and supportive environment. I would wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to explore yoga in a deep yet accessible way.

I attended their yin yoga/sound healing class today, it was amazing and I really enjoyed it a lot. But I think it’s better for the ones with experience since for some postures I have no ideas how to do, I can only see my neighbors’ posture. But I think it’s no need to be too worried since there are many experienced people around you. I chose the mat at the back side so it’s not that smelly maybe. I think the yoga barn is still good for many people to experience the different type of courses even though it’s really commercialized. And for the class information and how to register, you can just check on their website, it’s really detailed
