9 ways to explore the trendy side of Kuala Lumpur - SilverKris

"A creative hub assembled from interconnected refurbished shophouses in a historic neighbourhood, home to a community of young artists, artisans and musicians. Visitors can sip fan-favourite cocktails like an espresso martini Shakeratoooo, enjoy café fare such as a roast ribeye steak sandwich from an in-house sourdough bakery, and browse artisanal shops selling stationery, embroidery and lifestyle goods. The spot also hosts evening listening parties and a lively mix of food, retail and cultural programming, though individual outlet hours vary." - SilverKris

Charming old building repurpose as creative Spaces and Studios. Piu Piu Cafe was a must stop …worth visiting for just the cafe …great coffee , passionate barista , cute outdoor spot.

The building has many small corners. I really like it and I think very suitable for art lovers like me. Quite crowded, bustle. There will be exhibitions that take turns here, I love arts.

I was here early and most shops are not open. I can feel the artistic vibe and can tell most shops , cafe are interesting with curated stuff. Will definitely drop by again in noon on my next visit

Artsy hipster place with cool stationary and record shops, murals! But the layout makes it difficult to navigate and explore the shops fully

It’s a building with many different vendors across its 4-level-space. We could spend like half a day there, including shopping and dining in at the cafes. There are many collabs happening there, basically local designers/ handcraft-makers park their products to sell there. I must say it’s slow but that’s what make our day filled !

This is only a part of wall art for KL city. It is nothing but an old apartment converted into an art gallery and cafe concentrated building. The place itself is normally crowded during the weekend but it is even crazier during the weekdays during office hour. It is a hidden place from federal highway and road leading to this place might be confusing at first. There is a famous cafe called "Tommy Le Baker" on the ground floor of this flat compound known for its coffee and sourdough. All in all it is quite a unique place to have morning breakie if you want something with feel.

I’m not interested in taking photos with plenty of graffiti there. I’m not a big fans about graffiti. I’m more like a connecting traveler. I recommend people to go because: 1. You will meet a very cool auntie who smokes and sells food in the public canteen. Cheap food and enthusiastic attitude. 2. A bookstore in the building is like a comfy living room, if you’re not hurried to go, it’s very comfortable to sit for a while and chat with boss, even buy a book from him. 3. A death rock bar? I didn’t go inside, cause I don’t drink and not a big fans of it. But maybe some people like it. So just mention it. 4. That’s a pretty abundant zone. It’s suitable for exploring. Good, buildings, etc.

A great place to work those legs climbing stairs, sip some coffee or wine, and enjoy sourdough bread while browsing unique gift shops! ☕️🍷 🍞 🎁
