What an amazing lunch, the food is tasty, the service is top notched, the ambiance is amazing with incredible view of the vineyard. We were seated in the private room to accommodate our party of 7, which elevate the experience. The porcheta is very good, crispy skin, moist and cooked to perfection and is paired well with the creamy cauliflower and slaw then drizzled with salsa Verde. The custard tart is delicious but we find it too rich, the asparagus is fresh and tone it down a bit. The sponge cake is so creamy with fresh mulberry on top and borage (amazing taste, will try to grow in the backyard).

The Zinn House is a wonderful dining experience. This is our second time eating at the Zinn House and it doesn't disappoint. We took our whole family this time and made cherished memories. The food and matching wines were delectable. Cannot recommend the Zinn House highly enough. The biodynamic and organic food and wine are an absolute must try. My wife's favourite restaurant.

The establishment is a highly-regarded dining destination in the Mudgee region. The culinary offerings were exceptional, complemented by professional and amiable service. The ambiance was delightful, enhanced by a garden stroll amidst fresh produce, perfectly interspersed between the five-course menu and a curated selection of complementary wines.

A Delightful Feast at The Zin House – Highly Recommended! I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Zin House today. The setting is peaceful and breathtaking—nestled between vineyards and gardens, it instantly makes you feel grounded and relaxed. The food truly reflects the best of Mudgee’s seasonal bounty. Each plate was thoughtfully designed and paired to a perfect wine—elegant yet hearty, fresh yet comforting. What struck me most was the pace of the experience. The team never rushed us; instead, they let us savor every course while wandering through the gardens with a glass in hand—pure bliss. The service was polished but warm—exactly how a classic long lunch should feel. It’s no wonder this gem has earned spots in top dining guides and consistently high ratings. If you’re visiting Mudgee, do yourself a favour and book here—this is refined, grounded, soulful dining at its best.

Absolutely exceptional food, ambiance and service. Went here for our anniversary lunch and the team created magical food, even with some usually complicated dietary requirements (one dairy free and no seafood, one pregnant so no soft cheese, cured meats, etc). The staff were lovely and so accommodating, and the property is something out of a painting. Worth every cent.

A lovely experience for a day out in Mudgee to enjoy the local food, wine and views. We had the classic Zin lunch which was a set menu and paired wines. Highly recommend the experience which was about 3 hours. Menu does change seasonally and won’t exactly match what’s online but very similar. Staff were attentive and matched our pace of eating and drinking.

Our host Matthew was phenomenal. He was professional and shared his knowledge of the wine and delicious food which was offered during our Classic Zin experience. Would absolutely recommend.

I had the Mini Zin set menu and it was fantastic. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The porchetta was a real highlight, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the macadamia ice cream was absolutely delicious. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Fortunately booked well in advance for our party of 6 to enjoy Sunday lunch over a long weekend here. I say that because shortly after I booked they featured in the Sydney paper and were immediately booked out. We had a beautiful day for it and the staff kindly set us up outside in the sun with suitable refreshments to slowly slide into lunch - no hurry. The food was fantastic -house made bread and butter, olive oil to die for, and a set menu of 6 fantastic courses. Bread and dips, beetroot and blueberry tartare, asparagus and stuff, wagyu and carrot, cheese platters and a desert of rhubarb and raw honey ice cream to finish. A must do if in Mudgee.
