Theater Amsterdam

I have been here during ADE to dance on the music of among others Camelphat. There were multiple events in the same area. So parking the car was a hustle. Eventually I remembered a spot where I could park for free at a relatively short walking distance. A lot of people decided to go a bit later. The queue was a bit chaotic and some of the security had a bit of a short fuse. The locker service was horrible. Via the QR code I was offered as normal two options small or big. The small one "seemed" not to be available so I had to take the big one. I was surprised that in the end I still got a small one. Not really nice of the organizer. There were normal toilets in the lobby and dixies inside. It was really crowded. It would be nice that they would sell a little bit less tickets. Just increase the price a bit and we can dance normally. O yeah. I want to give a compliment for the security guard in the smoking area who put his colleague on his place. A young unexperienced guy who pushed one of the visitors pretty rough.

It's a beautiful event space where I attended the Google Cloud Summit a couple of times. Pro: The fantastic main stage screen, catering options, the availability of break-out rooms in- and outside of the venue: Con: Fix the damn WIFI already!! It's the second time in a row that it sucks, invest in a bigger fiber connection.

Great location, good facilities (bar/drinks area and clean restrooms). I went to attend a stand-up comedy show. Easily accessible by bus and also close to the bus stop. It also has bike parking spots. Overall, a nice experience!

Went to see the Gran Turismo Finals 2024, lovely setting, great & pleasant staff, cloakroom staff really helpful & good selection of food & drinks.

Great venue and really nice atmosphere. I've been here twice to see comedy shows and never disappoints.

Great place to see a comedy show, intimate and comfortable

Great location for conferences. Food is great and the staff is mostly nice (some foodchefs dont have an understanding that booth staff need to eat early before they have to work hard in the break). Its tricky to have a booth in the blackbox area. You cant make any sound during the sessions at your booth (even not talking).

The home of the spectacular Anne Frank theater show. The show is the first to use the exact words taken from Anne Frank's famous diary. With spectacular decor on wheels/rails, huge projector screens is the best theater production in NL. It is a must for everyone. For non-Dutch speakers (tourists etc) there is a personal mini iPad which can either translate (subtitles) to a few languages or can play the audio via headphones.

Beautiful theatre, great view on A'dam's ports "het IJ". Good facilities - foyer, bar/cafe, "snack-dispenser-from-canalhouses-wall" - box with drinks for break, restaurant. All well, but it all has to do with the show. Two things play a main-role: The decor is changing at the different parts, done by a turning floor. You see a copy of the Frank's house/flat at the Merwede-plein and a copy of the annex and manufacturing company at the 'Prinsengracht' - both beautifully built. And second and most important, the play: strong actors, a mix of strong emotions, humor and after all the ordinary life of an adolescent-in-hide, in an impossible and tear-drawing situation. "A must see"
